Do not buy this shoe. It looks comfortable and initially feels so, but left my feet covered in blisters after one wear.

These shoes are very small and meant for someone who is a very small size 8 with a very narrow foot. Not at all like other Born shoes I have purchased.

I had bought a pair of these shoes a while ago and loved them, but I think they changed. The elastic at the top of the shoe was way too tight and scratchy for me so I sent them back. I'm so disappointed in Born for the less than usual comfort in their shoes

These should be called slippers, not shoes. Even though width was OK, there's no support on the sides & my feet spread out like cookie dough on a hot baking sheet.

Purchased for my Mom and she was very disappointed -- looked poorly made, not a good fit and not a good value.

I ordered on May 28th and it is now June 6th and have not yet received my order. I usually get my orders from Zappos SUPER quickly to my PO Box, but everyone has a slip up, so no big deal. HOWEVER, I do want to know if my shoes are coming so I make some inquires. Below are excerpts from my email exchange with the otherwise SUPER SUPER SUPER cheerful customer rep and my responses: "In the future, for faster shipping speed, I would suggest sending any items to a physical address as this might arrive to you in a more time efficient manner." I have ordered from zappos MANY times in the past and used my PO Box with zero problems. Orders came super quickly, so your reasoning does not hold up. "However, you can also see the status of your orders by logging into your Zappos account and click on the “My Account” tab. On this page you are able to view your account settings, and below that is your order history. To the right of each order will be the order’s status" Yes, I'm aware of this. That's how I know that even though I ordered it 9 days ago, it has not yet been SENT. Please observe, I'm not saying that it has not been delivered. I'm saying that after 9 days it has not been SENT. "Since this was placed over a holiday weekend, this means the order should be shipping today!" This doesn't compute. You are acting like the holiday weekend was just this last weekend. False. It was the weekend OVER A WEEK AGO. Listen, Zappos has always been marvelous in the past. And everyone has a slip up, even the best. What annoys me to no end here is that you or someone supervising you is trying to let me know that nothing has gone wrong and that it's either in my head or that I MADE A MISTAKE IN ORDERING AND HAVING IT SENT TO A P.O. BOX WHEN IN FACT THIS IS ZAPPOS MISTAKE. Why not just own it? It's not that big a deal to me unless you try to act like I'm the one who did something wrong. DON'T GASLIGHT YOUR CUSTOMERS, PLEASE.

I wore this shoe on my walk to and from work and during lunch and my feet are killing me. These shoes are horrible. The back cuts into my skin. The toe box is quite narrow despite the rounded top. I can't believe I wasted $90 on these shoes.

I wanted to love these shoes but I don't. I made the mistake to pack them as my sole "work" shoes on a recent trip and after just a few hundred yards walking they had completely broken the skin behind my left foot. I think it's because the leather is quite high behind the foot, which I didn't notice from the pictures. Unfortunately, now they are used so I cannot return them.

These are possibly the worst shoes I have ever owned. I'm an easy fit when it comes to shoes. I bought the 8.5. They were slightly big, slipped a little when I walked, so I exchanged them for an 8. The 8's had a comfortably snug fit. I wore them around my house for an hour and decided they were very comfortable and kept them. Today is the first day I have worn them all day. My feet are covered in blisters. I have never been in so much pain from a pair of shoes. The high back across the heel has rubbed the skin completely off of both heels/ankles. If I could return them, I would. For nearly $90, I'd expect extreme comfort. Absolutely the worst shoe purchase I've ever made.

I got these in the full grain grey, and honestly, I wish I could return them. Pros: They are incredibly comfortable. No blisters, great arch support (for someone with high arches) Cons: EACH tiny water droplet become an irreversible stain. I've had these shoes a month, and I've tried to soak out water stains to the best of my ability, but honestly they look terrible. Wet hands from washing? Stained. Drop from a drink? Stained. I'm very unhappy. Maybe in a different color and finish they'd be the perfect shoes. I feel like I've thrown out $80+

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I bought them to wear at work and I can't even wear them for a full day sitting at my desk without being in pain. I wish I could return, but I threw away the box after I tried them on at home. THE WORST!

Most painful flats I have EVER worn. I wore these around my apartment to test them out and had blisters both at my heel and on the top front part of my foot. Horrible. I will be returning these...so disappointed.

The zig-zag stitched band around the foot opening is really irritating on bare skin, and leather not that soft. I expected better comfort from Born.

Well I thought these shoes would be more comfortable than a less expensive pair - unfortunately that is NOT the case. So sadly I will be returning these shoes.

I really tried to like this shoe but it hurt my toes. The left shoe felt much different from the right. I did not like the stretchy sewing around the shoe that made it curl up.

I read many reviews about this shoe before ordering. Unfortunately, my experience was different. I ordered these in a 9, as most reviews had said they ran true to size. When they arrived and I first put them on, they immediately felt too small. I thought perhaps they just needing breaking in. WRONG! I wore them to work and after 2 hours, I was limping and had developed massive blisters the back of my heels. Four more hours of wearing them was torturous. I promptly bought heel pads, pads for outside of my feet and toe pads. Another day of wearing them and more band-aids had to be applied and my feet ached at the end of the day. It's been two weeks and my blisters are still healing. If you have to have this shoe, order a size up and prepare for some serious breaking in. Overall, I would NOT recommend this shoe.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I wore these flats exactly once, to a concert. Walking just from the car to the restroom, I already had deep blisters on each heel, and had to limp over to Guest Services to get bandaids before even arriving at our seats! The bandaids were quickly scraped off by the off high, hard things in the back of the shoes, which serve no purpose I can figure out, except to create pain. They don't add to the fashion aspect, so I don't quite know why they're there. I still have those blisters, one week later, because they were so deep. I literally only walked the equivalent of a few city blocks before I had to take the shoes off and walk around barefoot for the remainder of the evening. For $95, I expect at least enough comfort for one evening of mostly sitting! Fortunately, Zappos is refunding me the purchase price.

Too tight, not a genuine 7-1/2.

These are such comfortable flats. I love the way they look, and they are comfortable for standing all day as well. I have neuroma, and finding shoes that don't hurt my feet is amazing. They have plenty of toebox room, and fit wonderfully. The only problem I have is that the leather darkened within just a couple of wears. I ordered the tan color, and in just a few days, the leather started to darken around the tops and sides of the shoe. The toebox and heel remained light colored. It was as if oils from my skin darkened the leather. I tried cleaning them, to no avail. I ended up darkening the rest of the shoe to try and match the darker shade. But now I have dirty colored tan shoes instead of the nice tan shoes that they originally were.

So disappointed. I have owned 4 pairs of Born flats, but Born changed the soft leather that rimmed the top of the shoe to a rough ribbon and stitching which tore up my foot. Back they go.

I am returning these! For the price I was expecting them to be more comfortable than the many cheaper brands of flats I've tried. The rub the back of your heal (the main problem I have with any flats) and hardly have any cushion under your heel. Disappointing!

I ordered this shoe because I have some Born boots that fit marvelously and are of high quality. These shoes, however, were such a disappointment: poor fit (even in two sizes above my normal size) and cheap materials.
