Fit perfectly right out of the box. I wear a 6.5 wide and these, thankfully, are in that size. I don’t think they’ll require a break in period because the leather is nice and soft, though it does have good body to it. The brown color is very nice, versatile and I think I’ll get a lot of wear from these shoes this fall and winter. Thank you!

Bought these for my daughter, in both brown and black. They have become her go-to shoes for days in the office.

The shoes are very comfortable, I like the material inside & out. I have a very hard time finding shoes for my high arches. many thanks to another review I followed their suggestion & looked into these & love them.

These are very comfy, with enough room for my long toes and fairly wide feet. However the material does not stand up to any water; I have a pair in blue that I love but were forever altered by a couple of drops of water from a stray puddle. I wish they would use a more durable leather for the uppers.

This is the most comfortable shoe right out of the box I have ever bought. Better arch support than any other flat. The navy color is rich and dark. The shoes are pretty on my feet. I highly recommend them. I also have a bunion that is not bothered by this shoe.

Finally! After purchasing and returning so many uncomfortable shoes that were either too small or to big, ( thanks to Zappos return policy) I finally found the perfect flats. I absolutely love these. I’m thinking of ordering another pair in a different color. If you love leopard these are definitely your go to shoes! Thanks Zappos!

These shoes are awesome! They are a little tight when I first wear them, but after wearing them one day to the office, they're perfect! In fact, I just bought my second pair. I love the gray and the tan. They match with everything.

This shoe is comfortable from the very first moment when you slip it on until the end of the day. Perfect fit, it is true to size and width. I purchased Pewter Metallic which looks great with jeans and dressier pants, love it so much will definitely be purchasing other colors.

Very comfortable padded shoe. The leather of the shoe is very soft. I have high arches and it was nice to finally find a flat shoe that had some support.

Beautiful shoes, quality leather, SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, because of the way my feet are formed, the top of my big toe rubbed against the shoe, causing a squeaking sound with every step. If I curled my toes and walked that way, the squeaking would stop--not a long-term solution. So, unfortunately, I had to return the shoes. I highly recommend you try this shoe though, because I don't think it's a problem with the shoe; I think it's just my wonky big toes that caused the problem.

I love these shoes!!! I have a black pair and a brown/tan pair so I can wear them with any outfit. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn on my small but wide feet. I highly recommend.

I have always avoided ballet flats thinking I couldn't wear them. I had foot surgery 6 years ago and am so careful about the shoes I wear. After searching online for the most comfortable flats, the Born Julianne kept showing up. I finally decided to order a pair. The first few times wearing them they felt a bit stiff. Then they seemed to soften and fit like a glove. I can wear them all day with no problem! I am a teacher and on my feet/moving for hours on end and these flats feel like I'm wearing comfortable sneakers! I agree with some of the other reviews that state they're not super stylish, but they also aren't too sensible looking either. :) I have the gray, black, and navy and wear them with everything! I will continue to buy these shoes.

Excellent fit. Very comfortable and soft leather that molds to the foot. I have a high volume foot and wear mostly 9.5; sometimes a 10. I got the 9.5w and these fit great. I did get a blister on the back of one of my feet but they got better with wear and a little Vaseline. I have since gotten 2 more colors.

This is the third color I have purchased and I also bought a pair for my daughter. Wonderfully soft leather and a comfortable cushioned fit. You can wear these shoes all day

Super cute and comfortable. I am always on the lookout for good arch support but 'non-grandma' looking and these do the trick.

Love these shoes. Given I require support and width because of my many foot issues, I'm relieved to find this "cute" shoe that looks great with jeans and dresses. This gray is a "go with everything" shade. Love them!

until now, i have not been able to find shoes with such great arch support! these are so comfortable that i almost forgot i had them on while sitting cross-legged on the floor. true to size as well! i can already tell that they will be amazing when standing or walking for some hours

As usual, Born has created a quality shoe that I can wear comfortably right out of the box. I wore these on my trip to Germany the day after receiving them, and after walking a bunch while sightseeing my feet are blister free and feeling great!

I finally found my ballet flat! I've tried and returned Born Maree, Acropedico L14, Arcopedico Lolita. I kept a pair of Alegria Palomas, but they are not cute enough to wear with dresses. I bought these in Wide, which is perfect because of my bunions. I can wear these every day! I don't think I can wear them if I am on my feet walking all day long in a big city like Tokyo or New York. But very comfortable and perfect for to/from work or wearing to go out on the town!

Very comfortable, basic black flat. I have a narrow heel, yet a wide toe box...these fit me perfectly. Great cushion and support, too. Keepers!

I love them! Putting these shoes on was like putting on a pair of bedroom slippers. There is enough padding in the sole to cushion my arthritic feet. I gave my Tieks away.

These are great, quality shoes with a little bit of support. Unfortunately, even a half-size larger than I normally wear, they pinched around the top and were too uncomfortable to wear. Too bad, but back they went.

This is the 3rd pair of black flats I have purchased. The other 2 pair did not fit and the quality was horrible. I am very happy with this pair. Will be purchasing another pair soon!

This is a beautiful shoe, well made and a good design. The wide size even stayed on my foot. My feet are wide in the front and narrow in the back - most wide shoes are wide from front to back and I walk right out of them. But even though they are comfortable for this type of shoe, my toes cannot spread like I want them to. If they were made of all leather - outside and inside - they would stretch and conform to the shape of my foot. The description said all leather lining, so that was misleading. Sadly, they are going back. :(
