I just bought the dark brown in this style. When these arrived they seemed a little bit smaller than my other pairs of Born Juliannes. However, they seem to be stretching out to fit my feet and should be OK. This is my third pair of this shoe; I own in black and dark brown now. It continues to be my favorite and most comfortable shoe. Great for men or women.

I bought these in the blue and absolutely love these shoes! Comfort fit right out of the box with no break in period. I have a bunion on one foot and this soft supple leather stretches and does not put any pressure on the joint. I am a school secretary and on my feet a lot. I can wear these all day and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I highly recommend this shoe.

Excellent shoe, and have received many compliments. Really like Born's fit and arch support, especially the boots/shoeties. For the most part, it's almost like going barefoot; I forget I'm wearing them -- except toward the end of a long day. This shoe has a thin sole, and my feet really hurt if I've been standing/walking a lot in them.

These flats are crazy comfortable! I do wish the color was a bit darker as shown in the picture but otherwise, I love them!

Nice shoe - didn't suit my feet, but might work for you. I have a large foot - size 11, wide, very flat, plus bunions, so finding ballet flats that fit is a trial and error process. Often a size 11 is too long but a 10.5 is too short (though B width usually works in an 11). Because I love ballet flats, I keep trying! I ordered the 11 in this shoe and was surprised it ran short - my toes were bumping right up at the end. Also, the toe box was a bit snug. You might want to try both your regular size a half-size up (11.5 isn't offered or I'd try it). All that said, I like the look of this shoe and if it works for your foot, I think you'll find it comfy and cute. It has a bit of arch support and a nice, cushy insole. I ordered the silver which also has notes of gold/copper. It these had fit I would've kept 'em.

These are moderately attractive and fit around the toe, but way too large in the heel area. They flop off when I walk in them, so I am returning them.

My main reason for returning this shoe was that I disliked the insole. I don't like the feel of the stretchy synthetic fabric. My feet get sweaty, and I imagine these stinking to high heaven after just a few weeks. I strongly prefer all-leather insoles. The arch support bump also felt weird to me, but I have pretty flat feet, so I don't need any arch support. In fact, I prefer shoes without it. Other than the insole -- the upper felt very comfortable right out of the box, especially along the sides of my feet and the heel. The shoes would be a little more elegant with a flatter toe box, but I do like their simplicity.

Fit true to size. I would not want to stand in them all day. Needs more padding to walk on.

I'm in my third year with these flats and they've held up perfect. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have a size 10 shoe size, so ballet flats are usually not an option. With these, they are great.

I wore these shoes almost daily for 3 years and they held up great. This was my second set of Born flats, the first of which I also had for nearly as long. They were comfortable enough that I could wear them all day, and although they scuffed over time, I was able to make them look fresh with black shoe polish. Only downsides were that the inner lining by the toes did not stay glued down, so it would often curl as I removed my foot. Also, the shape made my foot look a bit longer than I like, but they generally looked nice. I actually tried buying the same pair again as a replacement, but the same size did not fit for some reason.

This is my fourth pair of Born's Julianne flat. I find it to beat all other flats in terms of comfort and wearability. The edge gives just a little which makes it very flexible, but not too tight. The color metallic pewter will be a great neutral shoe. I am very satisfied with the quality and style of Julianne for me. Thank you Born for continuing this style.

Bar none, these shoes are the best flats I have ever purchased. I am an elementary school teacher and I am on my feet all day, both standing and doing lots of walking. When I put these shoes on I do not have to worry about blisters or painful feet. The insole has held up remarkably well and remains comfortable and cushiony all day long. I have hard-to-fit feet (size 11 with a narrow heel) and these are the only shoes that I can take straight out of the box, put right on my feet and go right out the door. I have every color Born makes of this shoe. The only thing I wish is that they would offer more colors. I would love to have a fuchsia colored pair and a red pair!

LOVE these shoes. I wanted a cute, easy to pack, comfortable flat for work. These truly fit the bill. Both casual and professional. And did I mention COMFORTABLE! Got a second pair in black!

Great classic, basic shoe. Only flat I’ve found that is comfortable over bunion. Love the simple style, looks more expensive than it is. Would definitely recommend.

These are great, simple, classic flats. Love that they are plain, go with anything, look more expensive than they are. Also fit well over bunion; only brand in flats that I have found works with my wider feet. Have them in gray and now mid-brown; would definitely recommend.

This exact shoe called Juliane is the only flat ballerina shoe I can wear. I have to go a half size smaller on this one cause the next size up is too large. ( I usually wear a 7 in everything and a 7 1/2 in Tenny shoes- ordered these in 6 1/2.) They are a tad tight at the toe but my foot slips out of the size 7. They are comfortable and like I said I've bought every kind of flat and they won't fit. Finally found these and bought several colors. I guess I have a hardy I fit foot.

Loving these shoes. Wore them this past weekend in Washington DC as a tourist. Walked 5+ miles per day. At the end of the weekend my feet felt great and no blisters. Logging in to buy every single color.

Great basic flats! My feet are slightly wide (not enough so to be a wide width), so I found these to be slightly snug out of the box. My previous experience with Borns lead me to assume these would stretch a fair amount, which I found to be the case. I generally wear a 7.5-8, and the 7.5 in these was great. My toes are not rubbing against the end of the shoe, and I feel that these are true to size. These have more arch support than your typical ballet flat. I ordered the panna cotta (gold) color, which I think is true to the photo. This is a great neutral color that could be dressed up for the office or down with jeans, shorts, etc. I've been getting lots of compliments on these with skinny jeans and simple, loose fitting tops.

I wear between a 7 and 7.5. I originally ordered the 7.5 and felt that they were coming up in the heel just a bit. I returned and ordered the 7. The 7 felt a bit snug, but I kept it. I was a bit concerned that it would start to hurt. During the first day of wear, it molded to my foot and have been perfect. I can wear these all day without any problems. I love the Tan color and get lots of compliments on them. I'm going to order the black and grey.

These are quite comfortable. They have moderate cushion and some arch support, but what set them apart for me, is the super soft flexible leather that they are made with. No breaking in needed. Side by side comparing these with Clarks and Bandolino, these are the most comfortable and least orthotic looking. I will be ordering a few more colors. They are great basic work shoes for standing in all day.

I walked all over Paris on London in these flats on a recent vacation. They were great...comfortable and fashionable. Loved them!

This flat is amazing. I have been looking for a comfortable flat that I can wear when walking all around the city I live so not just a few blocks of walking, but a mile or two. These are amazingly comfortable right out of the box. Some flats that are very comfortable start to stretch out in the toe box, and your foot looks flat and wide. These do not do that. They have just enough structure that they keep their shape. There is also a ton of arch support -- a very big pad built into the shoe. I will be buying in another color asap, I am in love with these.

I usually wear sneakers or boots and don't bother with girly shoes. Recently I had to go to a memorial service in a place that gets hot in the summer, so neither would do. However, since I was traveling, I didn't want my shoes to hurt. I have feet that are pretty normal except that the ball of my foot suddenly fans out wide, which makes them hard to fit. These shoes worked well. I broke them in carefully a few hours at a time at work, where I stand all day. I needed a band-aid for a day or so and had to put one of those heel pads in the back of the shoe to keep my heels from slipping out. I wore them on my trip with no problems. They are plain and simple but not dowdy, don't show the spaces between my long toes, and stretch to give my flipper feet enough room but don't look distorted. I usually wear between an 8 and 8 1/2, and the 8 worked.

Normally I wear a size 9. I was glad I ordered the 9 1/2. They fit perfect. Very comfortable although by 5 pm at the office my big toe was a bit sore. Not bad, but I could feel it. Still all in all I am pleased with the purchase and plan on ordering a tan pair.

I got them in black leather, size 8-1/2 M. They fit true to size, and feel like they might stretch a bit in width with wear, due to the soft, quality leather, so will conform to my foot. The stitched band around the top is comfortable-hugs my foot without pinching. The vamp (top of the shoe) comes up a little higher than I usually prefer, but I think still looks nice with the round toe, and doesn’t look old lady-ish. I like how they look with my jeans. Good value for the price too, they look like high quality. I’ll try to attach a couple of pics, but for some reason the angle of the pics makes the toe appear longer than they do in person- lol!
