No. No. No. This is not the best one out there nor this does work as advertised. I have another set of arm sleeves made by a different company and they are not only much more comfortable but also cooler than Columbia sleeves. Compared to what I originally had, these sleeves feel like arm warmer rather than cooler. They might work better in early spring or late fall time when the temperature drops below 50.

third pair in three years , make sure you follow the washing instructions in order to preserve the omni freeze technology. Accidentally dried a pair and messed them up. These are great for any activity or work related purposes . keeps your arms feeling fresh.

Excellent cooling features. I have had multiple skin cancers and knowing these provide SPF protection is assuring.

Been buying these for years as I love that it keeps the sun off but also feels cooler than not wearing them when there is a breeze. I use them for golfing and fishing and they hold up well as long as you don't heat dry them which I find weakens the elastic.

When the sun beats down along the trail, these arm sleeves keep me cool and protect my arms from sun damage. They allow me to wear a short-sleeved top for comfort without sacrificing protection from the intense mountain sun. The cooling effect makes my hikes more comfortable, too. The effects sun anytime of the year can cause irreparable damage not protected. These Freezer Zero Arm Sleeves give you more options to protect and cool.

My husband and I cycle. Road bike and gravel bike. I'm in the sun quite a bit AND I live in the south so the sun is HOT. I have previously had a skin melanoma so I am very careful about sun exposure. These arm sleeves are perfect for me. They are cooling and protect my arms from getting a sunburn or even a tan. Last but not least, they match my gravel bike! :D

I love these! But the new color sucks. I got the prior ones in a cheesy digital gray. A plain tan color would be nice.

I use these for cycling and they work great for keeping my arms cool and blocking the sun. It is a lighter and thinner material than my other sun sleeves so I barely notice they are there. The only caveat is that I have to be moving in order to feel the cooling effect (which isn't a big problem for me), but don't expect it to cool your arms a lot if you don't move around much. I ordered a L/XL and they fit well. I had a previous pair that were the mediums, and they were a bit short on my arms. I am 5'7" and 168lbs for a reference.

I really like these sleeves. They are not hot and are very comfortable to wear. I washed them in the washing machine on cold and hung them to dry. They came out looking like new.

These sleeves are well made. Stitches and sutures are strong in the sleeves I review here. The fabric is soft, your arms don't get warm with them on. They protect you well from the sun, no sun burns after wearing them. The small size feel really tight when new, but with time they sag, so they feel looser, which may not be the best. I wish the sleeves would stay tight and firm for longer. I believe the sleeves sag and don't wrap firm to your arm after 10-15 uses. Overall, yes, I recommend these sleeves.

I work outside almost daily and have been looking for alternatives to sunscreen. Instead of investing a lot of money in expensive summer long-sleeved shirts, these sleeves have allowed me to keep wearing my regular work t-shirts and still get the sun protection I need.

As a Mail Carrier, I always try to protect myself from the sun. These sleeves keep my arms cool, and at the same time, stylish. I wish Columbia had a contract with the Post Office to design our uniforms, and protect us from the UV rays.

I couldn't believe the chilling effect these had on the parts of my arms they covered in the open cloudless sun filled sky with no wind. As soon as a little sweat hit the omni freeze pattern on the inside of these sleeves, there was unbelievable instant cooling happening. It was almost as if I had an air conditioner just over the part covered by these. I would buy an entire body suit with this inside for summer wear. They do have a drawback as they run a bit small. I could not dock a star based on how effective they were for me though. I think Columbia should consider breaking the sizes down and making a small, medium, large, x large and maybe xx large for people with really big arms. If I was the size I was when I lifted everyday, these L/XL wouldn't have gone over my forearms much less onto my bicep/tricep any whatsoever. Making each size individually would allow a greater range of size and also a much larger size for those who need it. If you can fit, you wouldn't regret purchasing these as I've not ever worn anything that has this kind of cooling with no wind blowing at all. When the wind did blow a little, the cooling effect went to chilling as it greatly enhanced the already very pleasant feeling.

These are my first experience with arm sleeves and they are totally positive. I use them for mountain and road bicycling. They are effective at keeping the UV off my arms, add a small amount of warmth on early morning rides in southern Oregon, wick away sweat and also provide some evaporative cooling. It does not seem to matter how active I am they remain in place. I recommend washing them in cool or cold water and line dry.
