I received these shoes on 5/8/13. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal size as recommended by other reviews. I are them strictly for walking (4 to 5 ) miles a day. I am very pleased with the fit but the mesh on the top of the right shoe above the big toe is tearing away, it looks as if it wasn't sewn properly. I realize that there will be normal wear, but I have only had them of 1 month and for the price I paid and the excellent reviews that were given I expected they would hold up better than this.

I recently bought the Brooks Adrenaline 13 in blue for work. I stand on my feet for 10 hrs at work and prefer to wear running shoes. I loved them for work and decided to purchase the green color for my gym shoes. Well, after a couple of weeks, the green pair is pinching my toes and causing discomfort on my left foot. The green pair feels like it is a size smaller. I would suggest getting these shoes in blue. I wish I would have bought two pairs of the blue ones.

I have a wide foot and overpronate. This shoe was recommended to me by a shoe expert because of it's wide toe box and stability. I always had problems wearing this shoe with burning forefoot pain and tingling burning toes. My podiatrist said I had a Morton's Neuroma. Morton's Neuroma is caused by shoes that are squishing the toes. Then I read a review for this shoe from someone else saying that they too experienced the same foot pain I had. I switched to a Saucony shoe with a rounded toe, not pointed like Brooks. Guess what? No more foot pain! The Brooks shoe gives very good support if you overpronate but be careful because they do run narrow. Unfortunately the Saucony shoe does not give me the support I need but at least I'm no longer in pain!

This is the fifth or sixth pair of Brooks Adrenaline shoes I have had. They are always comfortable and very supportive. However, this pair is a piece of junk. Within 6 weeks, there was a big hole in the toe of one shoe, and in a few more weeks, in the toe of the other. Within 3 months there was a hole on the side of each shoe. This had never happened with other pairs of Brooks Adrenalines. Brooks changed the design and there is no longer a good toe guard on the top of the shoe, and the mesh upper appears to be inferior to that in earlier shoes. I will not be buying these again.

Not enough support for the price. I bought these because several running friends rave about Brooks. I used them for 3 weeks of outdoor running and gave up on them. My overworn Asics provide more support than these new Brooks do! Oh well, they are now my expensive gardening shoes.

I purchased this shoe based on other reviews and my previous purchase of Brooks Ariel. I ordered the same size/width. This shoe is narrower and less supportive. Very disappointed in this shoe.

I thought these shoes felt rather comfortable, until I started getting plantar fasciitis from wearing them. It started as a simple feeling that the shoes didn't have enough arch support and were allowing my foot to wiggle around too much. Now I'm on a long and hard search for a pair of shoes that will solve the problem.

I previously had a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12s and thought that I would upgrade to the 13s. I have been running for almost two years now, 30-40 miles per week, and have a mild pronation problem. The 12s corrected the pronation perfectly but the 13s caused utter chaos with my posterior tibialis tendons bilaterally. I was able to run approximately there miles before the pain would become absolutely unbearable. Unfortunately, the insoles were changed from the 12s to the 13s. I now use my 13s as a walking shoe for work, which is fine but I am just not too fond of running with them. It defeats the whole purpose of purchasing them as a running shoe. Switching to the Ravenna series ASAP.
