Great out of the box - color is perfect - not too shiny but zippy. Top sits lower than a standard docksider loafer which makes it a little more feminine. FYI: top can be tightened but lace around side of shoe cannot be adjusted.

Love all my Sperry Top-Siders. These are great because they can dress up a cute & casual outfit. I get lots of compliments on them.

Love these shoes! They are fun yet neutral. I wear them with everthing from t-shirts to button downs.

I own other Sperry Top-Siders that I love and find very comfortable. I ordered these in size 9, my regular size. They were too small so I returned them and ordered 9.5, still too small. Very disappointed.

I ordered both the Audrey and the Angelfish when looking for a walking shoe for a recent trip to Europe. My biggest problem with walking flats tends to be blisters along the side of my foot and back of the heel, so I was looking for a shoe that wouldn't rub. Of the two, I ended up choosing the Audrey in platinum because they felt so comfortable right out of the box. The Angelfish seemed to have much better arch support, but the sides of the shoe were too high for me, rubbing against my ankle bone. To add some additional support and cushion to the Audrey, I added a gel insert. I wore the Audrey almost every day of my 9 day trip, walking miles and miles. Overall, I was really happy with the shoes - they went well with both jeans and sundresses, were great for climbing stairs (which we did a lot of), and I didn't get a single blister. My feet were a little sore at the end of the week, but I would expect that regardless of the shoe, due to the large amount of walking. My only request is that Sperry add the same arch support from the Angelfish into the Audrey, making it the perfect stylish walking shoe.

I loved these Audreys for years but why did they have to change it...they have cut off the tongue and added 4 eyes for the tie instead of 2 and hate this..still they are comfortable and stylish I will keep them!

Beautiful shoe and very comfortable. The toe part and trim is silver and the rest is a pretty grey. Will go with most color clothing.

A great basic at a great price. I ordered it in two colors and kept both. Quality materials, comfortable, and retro preppy.

Very pretty shoes. I love the platinum color. I do get a bit of rubbing from these but I guess that is the break in progress. also the laces do come untied a bit. I still love them as they go with almost anything!

Love this shoe. The pair that I received runs a little shorter. Just so stylish and comfortable tho. I can't wear any socks with this shoe at my normal 7.5 size. Doesn't really look like a sock shoe tho to me. Will probably keep. Again, cute!

These were amazing but cut the back of my heels when I tried wearing them without socks. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but be careful to wear them with socks or no show socks.

Love these shoes! The color is great. They did take some time to break in (sometimes you really have to dominate Sperry's to make them work for you). They don't have as much cushion in the sole as other Sperry's, so they're not quite as comfortable as other models I've worn but I still like them.

A comfortable true to size shoe. I am a size 7 and that is the size I ordered. Color of shoe was noted as platinum, but that is questionable. The color appears more of a gold. Still very glad I ordered this shoe and it goes well with a lot of outfits.

Lovely navy patent leather and camel leather mix. Very preppie, great with short skirts. Gold laces are a nice bonus. Wide feet are not comfortable in this style.

Ended up picking these out as for my new summer boat shoe. They're quite comfortable, but perhaps a little snug over the widest part of the foot behind the toes, even with the laces loosened. I have the tan leather - they're a little more feminine than classic boat shoe, but basically the same look. The leather's very soft compared to classic Sperry (or other) boat shoe. It's comfortable, but I suspect it affects durability somewhat. For boat shoes, which will get pretty sweaty and beaten up doing summer stuff anyhow, I'm not too worried about it.

I get compliments every time I wear these shoes. They are so cute! My feet tend to run a little narrow, and these shoes are a great width for me. This is my second pair of Sperry's, and the first gave me blisters for the first few wears. These did too. After awhile, though, they fit like slippers. Love these shoes!

These are super cute boat shoes! I have to agree with some of the other reviews. The bow tie does come undone but I just youtubed how to tie your Sperry Top-Siders and they have stayed tied so far. I am normally a size 7 but after reading some of the reviews and they had mentioned to order them half a size smaller, I decided to order a 6½ and they fit perfectly. I know if I had ordered a 7 then they would have been too big. After wearing them for a long period of time they did start to rub against my back heel and my pinky toe causing some discomfort. I love them, I totally want to get them in dark brown.

My first Sperry Top Sider was the Bluefish two eye model, I am a size 7.5 in that particular shoe due to the fact it stretches and adjusts to your foot. When I bought the Audrey model in patent black leather I got the same size. It was too tight, so I believe for this particular model it is best to go up a half a size. The patent leather doesn't stretch out as much as the regular leather. The shoe is adorable, very comfortable (after I exchanged to a size 8) and a easy way to stretch out the shoe for comfort is wearing it around the house with a thin cotton sock. The next day the shoe will feel perfect!

I usually wear 7.5 or 8. Based on other reviews I ordered the 7.5. They fit perfectly. These are nice shoes; however, if you are looking for arch support, these shoes are lacking in that department.

Awesome comfortable shoe! However the color is much lighter in person then you can visually see in the picture. I have wide feet so they looked funny from the front, forcing me to do an exchange for a original boat shoe! Other then that they're adorable!

Sadly, I'm returning these shoes. I wish these shoes had fit and that they were the same color I had thought they would be. They were a bit lighter (more skin-tone) than I was expecting. I was expecting a bit of a darker brown, but that was my own mistake. The shoe fit my right foot fine -- yet the left one was SO TIGHT towards the front of my foot -- squeezing all of my toes together. It's almost as if I would have needed a wide shoe for that foot. I own two other pairs of Sperry's in size 11 and haven't had a problem, so I guess it's just the design of the shoe.

I love Sperry and I loved these shoes, however I've owned them for three months and they are already falling apart. It is a disappointment that at this price, these shoes can't handle casual city use for more than a few weeks without the sole cracking and having pieces tearing off. That being said, I have loved these shoes. They are softer than my other Sperrys (bluefish or angelfish) and so they take less time to wear in but still provide solid arch support and are a really cute, casual shoe option. I have worn my brown ones in place of nude flats and with everything from jeans to shorts to dresses. I didn't find them to run quite as small as other Sperry shoes, but if you are between a size and a half size, I'd recommend ordering the size down.

I'm not sure what to make of these shoes. I wear anywhere between a 10, 10.5, and 11. I ordered both the 10 and 11. 10 was too tight, but may stretch, the 11 was just a touch big and I could tighten the laces. I chose the 11. Now, having worn them a few days, I feel that the 11 is a bit tight in the width but long in length. Also, these rub the back of my heel into blisters. I'm going to continue to break them in, but the sizing here is just strange.

These shoes run small. And the patent leather offers no give. Love them but will be returning them. Frustrating that I ordered the same size I always do (with this brand) and they are so far off.

After wearing Anglefish I was pleased to see sleeker more feminine shoes. I purchased the tan planning to wear them in the Fall with my jeans. I wore them only four times mainly from home to the grocery store or similar. After those wearings I noticed the front rim of the sole had broken off on one shoe and was cut on the other. I exchanged for another pair hoping that this was a one off and would not happen again. This is my sixth pair of Sperrys and the only style that I have had a problem with after only a few wearings. Fingers crossed.
