This is the pair of Tevas I kept out of three that I ordered to check out before a 4-day canoe trip. The Hurricane XLT looked tough and nice for hiking, but was too big. The Mush was priced right, and was comfortable, but was almost too mushy and I didn't feel like I was getting much support. These seemed fairly comfortable out of the box. They're marketed as especially good in wet conditions, with 'spider' rubber, and since I was about to do a bunch of river-walking I went with them. The first thing I noticed was the radical topography of the foot bed. The entire length of the bed is pretty radically curved, with the heel set deep so that the arch support is quite accentuated. It threw me off at first - I was afraid my heel wouldn't want to stay in the very specific place it was meant to sit. But the silly little lip at the very back of the foot bed, which I expected to be annoying, in fact does hold my heel in pretty well. So with all that said, I would say the shoes are comfortable. The straps on these Terra Fi's are somewhat unique among Tevas, because every strap has substantial, soft cushioned padding. I thought that was pretty awesome. But after getting blisters on several parts of my feet on the first day of my canoe trip (which involved some canoe-carrying) I decided that these water-borne sandals are really meant to be wet at all times. When the padding is wet (which it was for most of the next three days) I don't notice it at all. But when it's dry, it rubs aggressively against my skin. Since I planned on using these exclusively for water-adventures though, I'm happy with my purchase. Once or twice on the trip I would step from one slimy river rock to another, with a loaded-down backpack on and a canoe above my head, and I thanked myself for going with the Teva's that were specifically marketed with 'spider-rubber' soles, since at that moment I was thankful for any extra traction I could get!

These sandals are more comfortable than I could ever have hope for. After 3 weeks do constant wear, I have experienced zero sore spots on my feet from the bands. I am blown away by these. The size is a hair smaller than I expected from a size 10, though not 1/2 size difference. Definitely wearable. The bands are OK, the soles are where the size difference comes in. My feet do not hang off, but there is no play from where my feet end and where the soles end. Overall, super comfortable.

These are my favorite shoes. I have always had a very hard time finding shoes that fit due to a very wide foot, but these are adjustable enough to accommodate and give excellent support for walking.

Ouch! Sandals, especially Teva's shouldn't hurt right out of the box. I've been a loyal Teva wearer for over 15 years, but I think Teva may be resting on their laurels. They left injection molding tabs (sometimes called gates) right on the foot bed area. Not cool. Don't confuse these with the Terra Fi classic now know as Terra Fi 4. These are getting returned. Shame on you Zappos for not selling the Terra Fi 4.

I seldom write reviews, but this sandal is a true hiking sandal. Strong, durable and able to grip rocks. I love to run down mountains. I feel like a cat pouncing from rock to rock and confident that the sandal won't slip. While great on rocks and plain trail, I don't feel confident in scree, wet snow pack and muddy trail. In short, for 99% of the hike, it is the best. The other times I wish I had worn my heavy hiking boots. I'm excited now to go hiking our Alaskan mountains.

Very comfortable. I'm a woman and these are not too masculine and are wide enough for my slightly wider foot.

This is the third Terra Fi I purchased. The Terra Fi 2 was great, no issues. The Terra Fi 3 side buckles scratched and cut my skin below the ankle bone in both feet. I will not use them anymore. I tried the Terra Fi lite as an alternative, it is lighter and fits better, but the side buckle still scratches the skin below the ankle bone. I am returning them. Besides that, the Terra Fi has the strap paddings that the Hurricane XLT lacks. It is a shame that the Terra Fi models are not getting better through time.

Best tevas ever fourth pair. Perfect fit. Comfy out of box. Last two pairs lasted eight years. Always get with zinc beds antibacterial lasts forever. $10 more than AMAZON which owns ZAPPOS but overnight delivery free and no hastle if wrong size. So I went ZAPPOS and had next day. What's better.

I'm very impressed with these sandals. Although they aren't the most fashionable looking shoes for a 23 year old male to be wearing, I find them to be incredibly comfortable and am totally pleased with the purchase for that reason. I wear them everywhere I can now.

Adjustable straps hold feet well. Comfortable fit. They have a nice style to them. Will use them on my trip to the Bolivian Tropic. I'm usually between an 8 and 9, got 8.5 and they were perfect. I'm 5' 8", 158lbs. Cheers!

My old Tevas finally are retired from duty at the beach. These new Terra Fi Lite have a more comfortable footbed and feel lighter to walk in. They look great and are about to go on their first beach walk.

The Teva Terra Fi Lite is the only sandal I wear. It is easy to get on and off and offers a great deal of arch support. It is easy to adjust because of the Velcro straps. I wear them golfing, walking and all of my leisure time activities. Great shoe, great price.

These Tevas replaced a pair that finally disintegrated after 14 years going from O's games to fishing oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. The new sandals are much lighter than the old pair but seemed a little smaller both in length and width. The size 11 is still a good fit for me and it will be interesting to see if these sandals last as long as the first pair. As always Zappos delivered quickly.

Sturdy sandal. Adjustable in more than enough ways to get a comfortable fit. Extremely lightweight and packable.

Love Tevas! We've worn them for many years for outdoor activities, including hiking - especially when involving water. They wear very well, and offer great arch support and traction. Thank you Zappos for accommodating a size change instantly!

I purchased these for my husband. This is his second pair...the dog ate his first pair. My husband said they are very comfortable, easy to adjust and wonderful for walking in sand. And clearly, the dog liked them too!

My husband has worn Tevas for years now. He has wide feet and is really hard on his shoes. These sandals are his favorites. I hope they are never discontinued!

The sandals arrived exactly as promised. They are great! My husband loves them. This was the first time we ordered something from Zappos, but will not be the last. Thanks for a great product and excellent service!

We just returned from the Galapagos Islands where we had several wet landings on the beach from our zodiac. These sandals were perfect. We were able to easily rinse out the sand and be on our way to tour. And they are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. The adjustable straps are a real plus. I highly recommend these sandals.

This shoe is very supportive for my feet and is solid enough to use for walking around or canoeing. Teva has always made good summer shoes, but this pair are so comfortable!

Excellent Shoe that fits well and does not slip around. Stylish in a rugged sort of way. Great for water. As a female with larger feet I favor men's shoes for their durability and roominess. My first pair of Tevas, I generally go with Keen but these did not disappoint.

I have had a pair of these for almost five years now. I live in Florida and wear them darn near everyday. They look like I have had them for just a couple months. They are very comfortable all day long, unbeatable slip resistance. This is probably the most well made product ever.

After having them this long, Teva and nothing else.
