Bought these boots for my semester in Europe and I have to say that they've worked out great. These boots are lightweight yet they are rugged and can even be dressy if polished and paired with the right clothes. I have walked many miles and them and have never been uncomfortable in any way. Two quick things I don't love about the boots, they are a little bit thin, so probably not great for deep snow or really cold weather and second the finish on the boot is more matte leather rather than polished. Just two things to be wary of. I knew the boots would be thin, but the matte black finish was a little weird to me at first. The black ones are also dust magnets.

These are exactly what I was looking for! They were pretty comfortable right from the start. I took an extra pair of shoes to work thinking I would need to change my shoes as I broke these in but I ended up wearing them all day! The only thing was they are truly a half size larger. I didn't believe the reviews and sure enough I had to return my first pair for the next half size down.

I'm am very happy with Zappos and there selection. They were fast and courteous with my order And there prices are amazing compared to others that I have tried.

I really love these shoes. They look great, are relatively light and have a good sole. And I travel with them because they go with everything from casual to slightly out-on-the-town. They are definitely running a half size larger than labeled.

I am glad I took the advice from the other reviews. If you order the boot one size too small it will fit well. Also, not a boot to do work outside, but is perfect for walking around in the winter while still having some style inside. Very comfortable.

I had to give the shoes to my son because the size was not true. I wear a size smaller than him and when mine came they were too big for me but fit him perfectly. I love the shoes and am going to order them again, but a size smaller.

These boots are my favorite go-to-footwear. I was somewhat reluctant to buy chukka style boots because I wasn't sure that I would like them coming up close to my ankle. However, these boots are extremely comfortable. I am often on my feet teaching classes and I'm very happy with how comfortable these boots are. I also love the look. They have a simple and somewhat rugged look with a dull, oiled-leather finish that takes on a scuffed up look after a few weeks of wear. I suppose if that's not your thing you could take a cloth and a little oil and keep them looking more new, but I really like the rustic look that these boots take on over time. I have gotten a lot of positive comments and inquiries about these boots.

For the price, this is a great shoe. Timberland does great work with better leathers at different price points, but this will certainly get the job done around the office or casual bar evening with jeans.

Purchased these boots for my husband, he wears them to the office. He really likes them and says they are comfortable. They are stylish and usually wears them with khakis. They have a matte finish so dust usually sticks to them but he doesn't take much issue with it, he just wipes them down.

I like these a whole lot. They're stylish, without being so over-the-top that they'll be out-of-fashion next week. They're durable, and don't show wear because of the waxy coating on the leather. They look great with jeans, or khakis. In bad weather, I may even wear them with a blue or grey suit (far preferable to the clunky, work-style boots I wore this winter). The one thing worth mentioning is that, out of the box, they're very uncomfortable around the ankles, just because the leather around the collar is still stiff. They broke in after I wore them twice, and now feel great.

These boots are really durable for a while. I did notice they started to open on the side because of driving a manual car. They are warm and wick water away. At first, they do irritate the ankles a bit but they seem fine after a while.

These shoes are great. I bought them to walk to work in snowy/icy weather but I could also wear them in the office. They blend well with dress attire or casual and keep my feet dry. They fit a little big when I first started wearing them (rare for my wide size 15 feet) but now I don't notice.

Very comfortable. I wear arch supports in most shoes, but they are not necessary with these because they are designed to support the natural curve of the arch. I dress them up with khakis and dress them down with jeans. I have the dark brown ones and I am thinking about getting another pair soon. I read the reviews and took the advice to buy a half size smaller. Good advice.

These boots look great and feel great. I get lots of compliments on them before people realize it's a boot. When they see it's a boot people really dig them. I do too.

Great shoes, very comfortable. Quality craftsmanship throughout. I wear a 12 1/2 so I debated over a 12 or 13. I ordered a 12 the first time and they are still a little big, but some odor eaters solved that. I believe they run about 1/2 to 3/4 on the big side.

I love the feel of these. I was looking for a dull black chukka style boot and these are exactly what I needed. They fit great and are comfortable.

These shoes are pretty good looking and comfortable. I really enjoy put them. Timberland Earthkeepers are great, and I will definitively buy more from them!

These are a great pair of boots, both stylish and comfortable and look great with jeans. I know they are not described as being waterproof, however, I have worn them in the rain and they held up well. I would definitely recommend them.

Ordered Sunday night, received Tuesday morning, super fast shipping! This pair of boots is quite nice. The color is a bit darker than I expected from the picture but that's alright. They are very comfortable and soft. For sizing, I had to go a size down from what I usually wear with some room to spare, I have narrower feet so that is probably why. Overall very nice shoes

Very comfortable. I have problems with my arches and these have noticeably great support. Other Timberland shoes I wear also have great support. That comfort is worth the price.

Great comfortable shoe. Lightweight but looks Sharp. Not hard to break in. The stock laces come loose often, make sure you have them tied tight.

I've only had these shoes a few weeks, but they're very comfortable. I'm breaking them in for a trip to Vancouver, where I know I'll be doing a lot of walking, but the medium weight makes them ideal for a San Diego winter (yes, there is such a thing). I bought my first pair before reading all the reviews, and it's true, they run about half a size large. Of course, Zappos quickly exchanged them, without hassle. I would recommend these shoes for style and comfort.

I can't find a way to update my previous review so I'll write another. I returned the first pair - felt too big. The next smaller size was out of stock but I asked Zappos to notify me when they had stock - 2 days later I was able to reorder. :) Very comfortable, stylish shoes. A shoe 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear fits perfect.

These shoes make me a better man! I never thought that I would say that about shoes. They feature supple and moist leather with nice (I am guess anti-microbial) lining, super cushy sole with arch support bump in front of heel, and flat out stylish. These will elevate you to a new standard in style. They are comfortable right out of the box. They are highly recommended. They are not available in wide sizes Keep in mind that these run narrow. I have medium width feet and they were tight to get on. However, the softness of the leather makes them comfortable regardless (and I know they will stretch). They fit like a glove really. All this to say, if you have particularly wide (or tall) feet, they may not work for you, but it is worth trying. You can always return them.

Had these for two weeks they are excellent shoes. No midday fatigue. Comfortable looks good although not a cold weather boot. Runs a little big, I usually wear 12's mine are 11.5.
