So cute! I ordered the Dark Grey in an 8.5 (my usual size), and was surprised when they showed up because I hadn't read the color description and thought I was purchasing Black. After wearing them a couple times, I have fallen in love. The grey is a nice change from a simple black, and the wingtips are a nice little subtle touch of style. These are also so comfortable! The leather is extremely soft, and the inside is lined with a thin, soft fabric for added warmth. The rubber soles are really comfortable, and the footbed feels squishy and cozy. I can't say enough positive things about these boots. So cute! I was a little disappointed that I my pair didn't come with the ribbons, though. I don't see anything in the description that says that the Grey doesn't come with ribbons, so it's a bit of a letdown. But honestly, it's just ribbons. If I decide that I really want some, I can just pop out and pick some up for a dollar. I strongly suggest these boots! They're awesome.

Cute boot that's definitely hits the sweet spot for jeans, denim and casual skirts! It fits perfectly, too. The color beautifully complements grey, olive, teal, Dijon yellow... all the mid-tones. I am excited to wear it this autumn!

Looked long and hard for a pair of Brogue booties. These look great and are very comfortable. Come with the ribbon laces and regular laces. I wear an 8.5 but buy all boots in 9 to accommodate socks. Very pleased.

I have high maintenance feet - bunions, low arches. (And a bad back). I am really pleased with the fit and quality of these boots. They are nicely made. They have a softer leather, so to prevent early scuffing, I treated them with a weather guard. Quality and fit remind me of the early Joan and David boots. Low heel, every day and stylish! The ribbon laces are fabulous. I am really happy with this purchase! And I am picky!

Quality leather, rich cognac color, perfect low heel, and I love the wingtip style. The leather is a bit stiff, so there will be a breaking in period, but they were comfortable out of the box and didn't slip around on my feet. The toe box is a bit pointed/narrow, so they might not work for people with a wide toe box. I have narrow feet and wear an 8.5-9, and the 8.5 fits perfectly with a thumbs' width of room in the toe, so I'd say they run slightly long. Not a lot of cushion in the sole, but I don't mind that. I immediately conditioned them with mink oil, so the rain wouldn't mess them up. Stoked that finally my boot search is over.

These are really cute except I had to return them, but only because I had a hard time getting my foot in. I have shoes that are similar and I don't really care for high heels as I am 5' 11" and most people seem far enough down there anyway. Go ahead and get a pair of these, no matter what your height. I hope they fit you as they really are SUPER cute!

I first ordered a half size up since I read other reviews about not having much of an arch support so figured I needed room to add some sort of support, and they were still too big. I then ordered my usual size 9 added my support and they fit perfectly! I just love the classic styling, and the ribbon ties they come with. They also came with leather laces as well, but my first pair only came with the leather ones. I have other Sebago high boots I've had for years so I know they make a great boot.

I ?????????these boots. I purchased them last year and after a year of wear they are becoming more and more comfortable. The "ribbon" shoe laces (you also get a regular pair) are a cute, fun accent. They are true to size and the cognac color looks rich.

I love this boot even without the arch support! I ordered a grey pair last year in a size 6 and have loved them. I have to save them for warmer, dryer days in winter due to cold feet, but they fit me perfectly and look great. After an exhaustive search for plain black boots this year i decided to get these. I LOVE THEM and they fit perfectly--and the ribbons on the black are a cute look. I do have to say that not having any real arch support means they are not great for long days or miles of walking BUT the quality of my grey pair from last season is solid. They have really held up and I've had no issues with leather or rubber soles. They have broken in quite nicely and I intend to continue enjoying both pair through the spring. I even plan to purchase at least one more color!

Bought these for my wife as a Christmas present and she loves them. She says they are very warm and fit her well. She says they are very comfortable to wear and she sends me happy text messages when she's wearing them! And, of course, as always, Zappos was an awesome and easy shopping experience. The boots were delivered the next day for free, even though it was the week before Christmas!

Looking for a flat ankle boot that is feminine is difficult. most are combat or moto-looking. This boot is kind of steampunk, but the ribbons make it more feminine. Bought some clip on leather bows for the sides.

Wow! These babies are great! Old fashioned style can't be beat. I love the way they look and they are comfortable with a very good fit, true to size. They are lacking on arch support, though. (This can be fixed.) I plan to get a lot of wear out of these boots. Once again, thank you Zappos!

These are my favorite shoes, period. I wear this classic style with jeans, trousers, and skirts, and get complimented on them often. They are very comfortable, and I like the ankle support. I have low-volume feet that are slightly wide, and I wear my usual size with an extra insole for a perfect fit. I got these in mahogany, which looks to be an oiled leather, and care for them with lotion to keep that look. My only reservation: the sole material is very soft and wore through at the heel too quickly; my local shoe repair folks said they really should have been made with a tougher compound on the heels. The repair cost maybe $20 and was no big deal given I got the boots on the sale. I would definitely buy these again would like to try the oxford shoe version as well.

Bought these boots for work and I absolutely love 'em. I am a hairstylist and they are gentle on my feet all day long. I have wide feet and the shoes felt a bit narrow at first but broke in quickly.

Love the look of this shoe! The sole is awesome as well. I work on my feet on concrete all day (hair salon) and live in these now.

These are very cute, but am returning as they look too much like other shoes I own. Also perhaps a bit stiffer than I expected--had I fallen in love and were in total comfort I might have kept them. Incredibly well-crafted, however. An excellent value; you'd have these for a long, long time. Ribbon laces are very cute, but they also come with regular laces which I didn't realize from the description.

Love these boots! Nice leather, good quality shoe all around & love the girly shoe laces. In my opinion they run about a half size big so, order accordingly. I had a size 8 & I returned them for a 7.5. When I called customer service, the agent was excellent! And I had the size 7.5 the next day!

Very nice boot. I have a wide foot and they were pretty comfy. However, I realized I already have a pair so similar it doesn't make sense to keep them.

These are comfortable, stylish and durable. My new favorite winter boot. The grey do not have ribbons, but are great with a lot of colors clothes, even dresses. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness how I love these boots! I had been looking for a pair of ankle-height boots that are fashionable but still appropriate for everyday wear at the office. I get a ton of compliments on these! I've worn them almost every day since they arrived! I ordered the 6.5, and convinced they would be too small (I'm usually a 7), didn't allow myself to get emotionally attached to them before I opened the box. But they fit like a glove and I've been wearing them ever since. Took three days' wear to break in the interior soles and exterior leather, then were as comfortable as can be. I won't be climbing mountains in them, but they're great to wear around the city streets. After about two months' heavy wear there are a few things that are a little disappointing: the sole is coming off the bottom in one spot, and the interior sole has detached itself and came out with my sock one night. Nothing a little super glue can't fix...! The exterior leather (most important part) seems to be great quality and I have hopes it will last a long time. If it does, I'll definitely consider getting them re-soled in a year if I need to. Also, the ribbon laces rule! They work BETTER than regular laces in terms of staying tied all day (I'm not kidding) and I get tons of compliments.

Cute boot in gray. Too bad about no ribbons. Seems a tad on wide side, but true to size unlike many reviews suggest. I wear a six unless i size up for thick winter socks. Simple wool socks need no sizing up.

Best boot I've ever owned. Well worth the money. Going to be ordering another pair in a different color.
