Skinny calved girls, look no further! I have spent hundreds of dollars getting boots taken in at the shoe repair shop because I can never find any that are snug enough for my 12" calves. I thought I would never find a pair of boots to wear with skinny jeans, but I did! I wear a size 8.5 or a 9 and these fit perfectly! YAY!

Ladies with the skinny calves: Look no further! After extensive research, I have concluded this is the best knee high boot Zappos has to offer. I have tried several, in varying price ranges but this one meets my two basic criteria: the boot does not get slouchy in the ankle; it grips my calf muscles perfectly when wearing a thicker knee high sock or skinny jeans. Note: the zipper is on the outside of the boot. An interesting choice, which makes me always feel like I am putting them on the wrong foot...but I am getting used to it.

I should have read the description a little more closely. These boots are not leather, as I should have known from the price. These boots are going back!

My size is usually right between a 7 and a 7.5 - a large 7 or a small 7.5. The size 7 in these fit me perfectly. I'm 5'3" and they hit just at the right spot below the knee. I wouldn't say that I have skinny calves, but they aren't hulk-sized, either - I'm a runner, so I have a little bit of muscle there, but I have a small frame. These fit me with about an inch to spare around the calves, so I can see how these wouldn't fit a larger-framed person.

I love these boots. I love that they are not leather. I love that they fit my normal sized calves even though all the reviews say they fit skinny calves. I love how comfortable they are. They look super professional. Bravo, Franco Sarto. I have always loved you.

I am thrilled with the product! In fact, I'm wearing them right now. I have bought Franco Sarto books in the past and knew the quality to be excellent. Choosing this pair made for another wise purchase. The durability is matched by the beauty. Making the buying experience even better was the exceptional customer service on the phone and the speediness of the delivery. I'll buy from Zappos again and will buy similar (even the same) boots again.

I really loved this boot, it is good for women with narrow calves, unfortunately they were too big even though I tried inserts and thick socks so I am returning them. I'm sad that Zappos doesn't have another size option for me. The only negative about the boot is that they do not have good arch support. I have worn Franco Sarto before and I believe they run narrow but I have narrow feet so it works for me.

I was looking for attractive and comfortable non-leather boots and these are perfect. My calves are 13" at the widest point and the boots fit perfectly over jeans, snugly but not too tight, and not difficult to zip up. They have a nice, flattering profile and I think they will be versatile. The toe feels slightly narrower than usual to me. There is a soft, fleecy lining which is not very thick, which to me is a plus since I didn't want a lot of extra bulk. The soles are rubber and do not make a lot of noise when you walk.

I was thrilled to find these boots. They are very cute, and as other reviews note, perfect for skinny calves! I tried on a ton of boots before finding these. They look great with skirts, jeans and leggings. It is nice to not have big sloppy gaps at the top of the boots. The detailing is subtle and not super trendy, so I think they will be great for several seasons. Thanks, Zappos!

I don't wear leather and am always looking for great faux boots. These are very attractive in person, though the color is more taupe/gray than the dark brown I thought I was getting. These are very well made, and the tread is nice and thick. I can wear these with anything, and I love them.

My budget has no limits but I initially selected these inexpensive boots because I am for the first time trying to go leather (cruelty) free. They have turned out to be the best boots that I have ever owned. They look and feel like leather, are stylish and I can walk as many city blocks as I want in complete comfort each time I wear them.

I love these boots. The picture on this website does not do them justice. The sole has good traction, which is one of the reason I selected them (living in a northern climate that can get icey). They are flattering to the foot, ankle and calf. Very comfortable. Love Franco Sarto shoes!

These boots are awesome. I am 5'4 and have very skinny calfs. These boots fit me perfectly. You have to wait until about 4-5 wears until they loosen up a bit. However, this is standard when buying leather boots or shoes. I get so many compliments on them.

These are great for smaller calves. I'm 5'5" 117 lbs. The only complaint I have is that the ankles feel pretty roomy if I don't have thick socks on, but that is probably because I have really skinny bird ankles.

I'm always a fan of Franco Sarto boots -- good lines and generally a good fit for my feet that are actually size 10.5 and therefore tough to fit. These were a replacement for my old Franco Sarto's which I'd worn til they were dead. As I'd hoped, the look of these boots is great. However, for the first 2 days I wore them, they weren't very comfortable -- plenty big, but pinched a bit around the balls of my feet. I'm glad to say they've broken in nicely and are comfy now. My only complaint is I find them a little "sweaty" compared to my old FS's. The lining is more fabric-y and they just don't breathe as well. Nonetheless, a great purchase.

Although this boot is hailed as The One for girls with skinny calves, I guess mine are just that much skinnier than the average calf, because they're still a little loose. I'm pretty accustomed to this though, so it's never been a deal breaker. These are classy-looking, fit an insole, and are generally comfortable. However, I don't know if the boots I got were anomalies or because they are still loose on my calves, but they do slouch in the ankle and the zipper occasionally sits against my ankle bone, which can be pretty uncomfortable at times. It's not the perfect boot for me, but it's the best I've found yet within my modest budget.

Beautiful boot! Great style and color. Not as much "wiggle room" as I usually like in a boot. That said, for someone who can never find knee high boots that fit small calves -- these are a keeper!

I just received my Franco Sarto Peak Boots in Dust. They are a GREEN/BROWN with Green stitching. They look brown with a hint of red in all the pictures I found. So sad.

Hard to tell on computer but the color is greenish, not a bad color but not good on me. They also do not rise all the way up to the knee as I had hoped. True to size but toe area is a bit narrow. Very stiff leather on the upper.

On the whole I'm very happy with these boots. I really like the look and detail and they feel very safe even on slippery surfaces. They would not be suitable for women with larger calves -- my calves are 14" and the boots felt very tight the first few times I wore them, but they're easing in now. Also I take a size 6.5 and there's a bit of space at the heel, but fit well at the front and so are fine with thicker socks and tights. They are not leather (fine for me because I try not to wear leather) but I still think they're good value for the price.

These boots are so cute! I love the color and the style. I purchased them for my daughter and unfortunately we have to return them. They are very narrow. My daughter has a long skinny foot and I thought these would be great but they are actually too tight in the width and in the calf. They run a little big. If unsure of size, order down.

These are lovely boots but they are not for girls with truly skinny calves. I ordered my size (9) which fit perfectly everywhere except my calves. There was at least 2 extra inches of boot material that bulked out at the back, looking more like a rain boot than a fashion boot. Even with leggings it still pooched way out. Too bad, they will go back. I'll stick with the Archepedico's in vegan because they actually fit everywhere.

These fit my calves pretty well with some room to spare. I'm 5 ft 11 and medium/slender build. I had to go up half a size to get my foot in the boots as I have very high arches. The tan vintage brush is a nice light neutral color.

WOW. I fell in LOVE with this boot online. I have been searching for a riding boot since the Fall. Was very excited when these came in the mail. However, when I put the boot on, it was insanely narrow. I have a slightly wider foot, but nothing crazy. I am usually an 7.5 or an 8 - I ordered the 8 to be on the safe side. Very narrow. Also, once I zipped it up, I could feel the blood draining in my calf. I do not have muscular calves and I don't have problems with the shafts of boots - these however were painfully tight. Since the shaft was so tight, there was extra room around my ankles and it buckled up, making my foot look strange. Very heartbroken to send these back.

Love the looks and fit of this boot. I originally ordered the dust vintage brush, but it was an odd, army green color, so I returned them for the tan vintage. Again, an odd color brown. I wanted a basic, brown boot. I had no belts to match either color. Sadly, both colors went back. The style and fit were wonderful and I really wanted to make the colors work!
