I fell in love with the Lissie on Zappo's while looking for a casual leather ankle boot that I could wear with all sorts of clothes, especially traveling. Leather breathes well, and I want a shoe for pants, leggings, dresses, shorts, and skorts. I am very active so I don't look for high heels: I need hard-working shoes that look good. I also have "yoga feet" - medium to wide, used to lots of walking and bare feet. After trying on my real size with the first Zappo's order, I sized up one whole size (from my normal size 9 to a size 10). The Lizzie is truly soft and buttery leather. It looks so gorgeous both in the hand on on the feet. I feel truly sexy - and many casual, flat-heel leather shoes do not feel sexy. The photos and the video on the Zappo's website exactly show the beauty of the Lissie. I started my first pair with the "Brandy" color, but I am ending up with the brown color. Brandy was cute (rather reddish/brown with black shadowing) but I thought that it would be hard to upkeep the color as it was presented. I learned how to upkeep leather shoes, and knowing how to keep a color original is important. Don't make anything too hard for yourself. It is important to say that the shoes are a weird shape - they are long and narrow. This seems to account for why I had to get a full size larger. They also are a bit narrower: I'd rather have a variety of socks I can wear, but my thick wool socks are a tad bit tight at this moment, before I break in the boots to my feet. So if you are looking at your own size feet: unless you have super-narrow feet already, order at least a half-size to one size bigger than your normal shoes. There seems to be little arch support. This is useful for some people, and not useful for others. However the sole seems to have excellent flexibility so your feel should be walking like feet, and not like they are walking in boxes. I don't know what you-all are like, but I never leave the house when I'm trying on Zappo's shoes. I am always testing them out inside the house, and don't even take any tags off until I think that they are perfect for me.

Just like my other pairs of Miz Mooz boots, these are super comfortable. Unfortunately, The picture misrepresents the boots. The black ones are shown with a brown leather-looking sole. The boots actually have a black rubber sole that doesn’t look as nice.

These are nice boots, but the sole is darker than in the picture and made of rubber to look like leather-not leather. They're still nice I am returning for a half size larger though; 8 seems a little tight.

Good casual walking boot.

Super comfortable! I always love Miz Mooz. Stylish and hip, yet can walk all day in them. And good for rainy weather as well.

I get compliments every time I wear these boots. Comfortable, durable, and looks great. Had them for at least a year. Great shoes and brand. Would buy again.

Such a good fit and deliciously soft leather, but NO cushion in the footbed or arch support. Tried to put Dr Scholls in and it ruined the fit. If you don’t need a cushiony footbed, these are awesome.

These boots are amazing! They are insanely comfortable from the second you put them on - and so stylish as well. They're my new favourite boot. I was hoping to be able to wear my orthotics in them, but the inner sole doesn't come out - so it doesn't quite work with orthotics. Nevertheless, they are still very comfortable and I'll be wearing them (and perhaps getting another pair too!)

I get so many compliments and people often ask me where I got them. Very comfy, stylish, and durable. Fit well and they are well made. Would for sure buy again.

I loved these boots so much. I loved that they were black with a brown sole which I think makes them more versatile. However one of them was just too narrow for my foot. I tried sizing up and the fit was just wrong. It's not meant to be and I am still searching for something with the same look and can't find it!

I have owned these for just under a year and I LOVE these boots. These are my go to, everyday shoes. There is no break in time and they are so light- I have walked miles in them. Great quality shoe. 100% recommend.

Love these boots. I have been wearing them all the time for 2 months. So comfortable, so stylish, so versatile. Look good with skinny jeans and boot cut. Not much arch support, which isn't a big deal for me. I have a high instep and can slip these on and off easily, without them being saggy or bulky.

I loved the Lissie so much. But the size was wrong - too small and too narrow, even when I sized up. I really tried to keep them. I actually cuddled the shoes before returning them - I was so sad to return them. Maybe they work for some folks, but the fit didn't work for me.

Comfortable fit while walking on vacation, and salon work days. Compliments often on the boot too!

I really wanted to like these boots but no arch support and heel lower than I wanted led me to send them back. Cool styling/design and easy to pull on and off without zipper.

I'm not sure if "half size larger" is right, but my heel was swimming in these shoes, making them very uncomfortable. I know they make inserts to help with that, and that my ankles are skinny, but I can't justify buying inserts for shoes that cost this much, so I returned them. Other than that, they were quite lovely and stylish. Wish they fit.

I have a pair of these in brown. I actually bought my very first pair from TJ Maxx SEVERAL years ago. I wore them the entire time we were in Italy in February. Put on LOTS of miles in comfort! When I got home, I got online and ordered another pair of the brown. So happy I did, as they are my favorite shoe. You can dress up or down and they are truly sooooo comfortable!

I’m a size 9 and the fit is great-I don’t wear thick socks though-only more lightweight or they would be too tight. I’m on year 3 of my black pair and this will be the 2nd winter of my brown. The folder leather on top is soft and looks dressy. I wear these boots with everrthing and like the low heel.

The perfect boots ?

These are beautiful boots. The leather is buttery soft. Nothing comes up under your arch at all, which is what works best for me. They do not have alot of cushion, which also works for me. However, standing in them for several hours on a hard floor might make my feet a little sore. They are very flexible. Overall I love them. They work for me. If I could change one thing, I wish they were a hair wider. I usually wear an 8 in boots. I purchased the 8 and they fit just right.

I love them! Very comfortable! Perfect fit. The only thing is pulling them on is a little tight but after a few time it is fine. I have 3 pairs of Miz Mooz shoes and I really love them!!!

These are exactly what I was looking for - a current, stylish boot that I can wear literally all day (with jeans, skirts, or dresses) for miles and miles. They are so versatile for work or off-time. Perfect.

These are like butter! Soft, comfortable and high quality. Super soft leather and the Antique Brandy is a great color. I bought my usual size and will wear a very thin sock.
