These shoes are beautiful as well as comfy. I got them in my usual size, 7.5, and found that the heel kept slipping off. So I ordered a size 7, which stayed on better, but I found them to be too snug in other areas. So I bought a thick arch/heel support instep for the 7.5's and that did the trick. Without the instep, these have average arch support. I think the instep greatly contributes to their comfort and my ability to walk/stand in them for long periods of hours without pain in my feet/legs. So, I personally would not wear these without an instep, but then again I get insteps for a lot of my shoes because I like solid arch/heel support. The color (I got red) is just as pictured if not better, just gorgeous. Love 'em.

Thank you to other Amazon reviewers! As others have stated, I was able to wear these right out of the box. No break in period needed. I am usually an 8-8.5 so I ordered the 8.5 and they were perfect. At first I thought a little too snug, but decided to wear them around a bit. Perfect and SO comfortable!

Very cute. Lightweight and comfortable. I have wide feet and they run narrow, so I was worried, but the soft leather stretches easily and they fit great on the first wearing. They don't have great support so I wouldn't wear them to work because I walk all day on city pavement, but they are very comfortable for an everyday shoe. Light gray color is nice and the sole is rubber.

Great casual boot! Very comfortable. I usually wear a 10 1/2 and the 11 fit perfect. the ankle width is not too big so they work well w/ skinny pants.

These are cute and comfortable. What more can you ask for? The boots fits tight around the ankle, so only the skinniest jean will fit in the boots. They fit easily under bootcut jeans.

These boots are great. They're very attractive, especially with leggings (which is what I always wear). The inside feels seamless- nothing rubs funny or hurts my heels. They're very comfortable, but lack a bit of arch support... I put in a 3/4 gel arch insole and the boots are now PERFECT. I will say that they're a bit tough to get on, because the ankle opening is fairly small... hoping that a shoe horn will solve that problem.

These are my most favorite boots that I have ever owned and I am a very picky boot-buyer. They are super cute with everything and the leather is thin and soft, meaning very comfortable and that my feet do not get overly hot. I may buy one in every color they offer! They work great for my narrow feet.

Super comfortable. The leather is very soft and the soles have a pattern so they are not slippery. I am a teacher and stand the whole day and was able to wear them from the box without any problems. A must have!

I really love these boots, but they definitely run small and maybe narrow. I have a wider foot, normally a 9 and I have a 10 in these. They were still snug for the first two wearings but the leather is soft and they are super comfortable now. The tan is very versatile, works well with black and jeans.

Love these boots. Size up if you want to wear anything thicker than tights with them. The leather makes you look cool and the color is super-saturated so it goes with almost anything.

I bought the red pair last year and wore it for 5 months as I walked the streets of Beijing. These were my go-to boot/shoe for dress, casual and comfort. I had to have the black pair! Comfort and style!

What a great boot! I'm normally between an 8-8.5 and pretty solid euro 39, and the 8.5 (euro 38.5) in this was perfect. It is a bit snug around the sides, but the leather is so soft and lovely I'm sure it'll give just enough, and they are really comfy regardless. Also, my feet are an average width, so I'm not sure they are ideal for wide feet unfortunately. There's a nice amount of room in the toe box, and some cushion in the footbed that add to the overall comfort. The best part though is that unlike so many boots of this height, they don't really rub or dig into my shins or ankles.

I bought the red color of these boots and the very first time I wore them, I wore them all day as part of my gypsy costume at the Ren Faire. In addition to complementing my outfit perfectly they were very comfortable no blisters or aching feet. The dust from the faire wiped off easily and I couldn't be more pleased with them. In fact I am back for the black. I found my usual size of 9 to be spot on. The insoles of these boots are very soft. I just love them.

Fit like a glove! I was afraid they might feel too tight at first, but knew they would stretch a bit because the leather is so soft. Was able to wear these all day right out of the box. Love the look and fit!

Perfect ankle boot for fall/winter if you're looking for a flat heel. Elastic on the sides makes it easy to pull on. Comfortable to walk in and no "breaking in" period. I'm ordering another color next!

Awesome boots. Ordered a half size larger as some recommended, but they stretch and now they are a little big. An insole will help.

The leather is very soft, and I love how they look. I usually wear a size 8- these are a 38. I have narrow heels and wide feet at the front (ball of foot). If I wear thick socks, the boots are too tight there. But with thin socks they fit fine and are very comfortable to walk a lot in.

By far the most comfy, well fitting boots I've ever worn! I have a somewahat narrow foot and these fit great. not to mention they look well made- a truely quality product.

Really cute boot! Very comfortable, flexible but not flimsy. Wore them for a whole day right out of the box and they did not hurt my feet at all. I wear a size 6 1/2 shoe, always buy a 7 boot and they fit well with thin Smartwool socks. Look great with jeans - casual but not sloppy. A great purchase! Zappos was great as usual, and the reviews really helped me decide what to buy.

LOVE this boot. It is so comfortable! The height makes it kind of hard to wear with skinny jeans. They don't tuck in well for me. I end up cuffing most jeans or wearing bootcut style. Looks great with tights and dresses!

I just got these boots in the mail today and absolutely adore them although I have to return them as they are very narrow. I have a med. to narrow foot and they are tight! I'm going up a size and think they will be perfect. Also the leather is super soft so I'm sure they will give a little bit. Great price for a boot that looks very expensive.

These boots fit me perfectly. Soft leather, easy to slide on. The color is great too. I've also ordered them in black and contemplating the red.
