These boots do not have the circumference listed correctly as I measured calf with jeans on and actual boot is small. They are very difficult to put on. When your heel hits the back of inside boot heel, it is a tug of war. Once the boots were on, they were fine in length so I don't think ordering up is the answer. Absolutely cutest boots ever but they are going back as they don't fit.

A very cool-looking boot. I was looking for a boot that was not a dressy-look, like for church, but not all the way to biker boot. Something not too plain, but not teenager-bangled. This boot has awesome subtle style, but not so subtle that you can't tell until you are up close. It is a perfectly "me" look. Could be clean, could be edgy. Great style to this boot. Exactly the right balance. There are some problems though. This boot does not have a zipper and is quite difficult to get on and off. And I even have a narrow foot, so I imagine it might be almost impossible for a wide foot. I don't know, of course. I am able to tuck pants into the boots with no real problem, so I am not returning them, but be warned, no thick socks with these. I tried some fancy wool socks that were definitely on the thin side, and they got pulled so much as I inserted my foot, that the socks curled up my toes by the time my foot was in the boot! Then there was no wriggling the sock back into place! I had to go the rest of the time with curled toes. Ugh. So my advice is thin, dress-sock type socks for these. The other problem is that while they have been comfortable for walking, they do have an oddly loose heel area, which causes a tad of slip up and down as I walk. So far, they are still quite comfortable and stable. I walk several blocks in them at a time, but not miles. Also of note, the top of this boot is not stitched and capped off. It is unfinished cut leather. Like the leather was just cut off with scissors and left exactly like that. Not rough-looking, it is a very clean cut, but not that finished look of many boots. Just look closely at that before ordering. I really wish these boots had a zipper! But they are such a great looking boot that I am keeping them.

I'm unfortunately returning these boots today. When I found these to purchase I was super excited but when I got them home I found them to not be as nice as the photo portrays. They leather is even more dull than it appears and they fit more like rubber rain boots rather than nice leather boots. My calves were swimming in them. Not flattering at all. I wish I had a good review to share but unfortunately I do not. Maybe they'll work for you though but if you even remotely have skinny or toned calves, don't expect these boots to fit.

I should have believed previous customers reviews... I could NOT even get my foot in the darn boot! haha! I am a small girl too - 5'5 120lbs. I got my foot in to touch the bottom but couldn't push my foot in. There is no zipper. My calf even felt tight. I have never had a boot fit too tight on my calves. The style is adorable, yet I will be returning them.
