I have written a review about these and this is the follow up. I have had these for a little over a year. I used them heavily, but did not abuse the shoe. In a little over a year of mixed use (2, 3 times a week) the soles are completely worn through, at the heel!. I have never had sneakers, even cheap ones, that wore out so fast. I will not be buying these again, and possibly not any other Ecco product as well, unless they do something about this disappointing performance.

I am surprised the reviews were so good. It gave me high expectations and was sorely disappointed. My feet are fairly normal in width and arch and these shoes had a weird feel. Never had a shoe fit like this. It felt like the there was a ridge that went length-wise straight down the middle shoe. I could not wait to get them off. I did like the lace system and you could tell the construction was quite good.
