Outstanding shoes...arch support feels like there is a built-in orthotic...using them for outside walking...will wear them everywhere. Considering buying another pair for walking around the house too. Don't feel my hammer toes...nor my frequent gout-related foot discomfort. These shoes fit like a glove the minute you put them on.

I ordered these because of their unique anti-cross trainer style. Ecletic and odd also come to mind. I wasn't sure I'd keep them after putting them on. My first thought was maybe too much of too much. The asymmetrical look is an acquired taste. As is the huge heel cap. End of the day, I'm glad I did. First, the picture is a color shade off accurate. The rubber heel cap and toe skirt trim are not white. This trim is light gray. Which looks great it just isn't white. Ditto with the radiating trim on the sides and spears on the toes. These are shiny silver not white. Second, the toe sole finish is more true sneaker, think Chuck Taylor, than athletic shoe. The rubber skirt is again 'different'. Third, these are minimalist shoes almost running shoe slipper like. They will make your feet look itty bitty. That's a shoe industry term itty bitty is. Right? These shoes come with a second set of gray laces if you want to tone them down. The monochromatic look isn't my deal, but could be yours. If you buy into the style, the orange laces will suit you as well. End of the day, I love them because so few others will have the cohones to wear them. Super comfortable right out of the box, ECCO's are always spendy Euro shoes. But worth the price IMHO. And speaking of Euro. I've got a half dozen+ pairs of Nike/New Balance in the closet. Every one is a size 10.5 US. When I buy ECCO's, I always get Euro 43 which is listed at 9-9.5 US. Consider sizing down if you aren't tuned into Euro feet. Last, I haven't bought a pair of shoes in a brick and mortar store for years. Zappos rocks my shoe world.

My favorite shoe for being out and about. Light weight with excellent breathability and arch support. The wide toe box accommodates my foot perfectly. I just bought a second pair just in case they go out of production...not to mention that they look great!

I replaced my old Ecco Biom Trainers with this set, and as expected they are fantastic. They have great support and feel when I am working out at the gym. These shoes ensure I can focus on my technique and not worry about my footwear breaking down on me. Light running in these shoes is fine as well, but I would pick up a pair of dedicated running shoes if your pounding pavement. My only complaint is that the pull tab in the back of the shoe is placed very high. If you are wearing no show socks or no socks at all; it can really be annoying when it rubs the back of your ankle during extended use.

These took a few days to break in but once they did the superb cushioning became obvious. I am on my feet 14-16 hours a day sometimes and need the best shoes that I can afford, and those fit the bill!

I bought these shoes for my husband. He loved them. Apparently so did someone else because they were stolen at the gym.

This is my second pair of this model. I have trouble with my feet and I buy mostly Ecco shoes. This shoe fits well and is comfortable.

My husband's 2nd pair. We walk a 2-mile greenbelt several times a week and these ECCO Biom Train shoes are the only ones that give him the support and fit he needs. He has a wide foot and many shoes pinch -- these do not.

These are fabulous shoes for training. As comfortable as my Ecco Biom Walk leather shoes. Good support for the indoor workouts I tend to lace them up for. If they hold up as well as my Walk 1.1's do, I'll be more than satisfied. These really are a cut above the standard department store choices I've worn in the past.

My son had planter fasciitis and these shoes were recommended by his podiatrist. He wore them around the house and found them comfortable and supportive. Like the look of these best of a few similar choices - he is almost 13. Husband has worn Ecco for years and we have always been happy with the quality of these shoes. My husband wears custom insoles for ankle issues and Ecco works well for him also.

I wear Ecco dress shoes all the time and have always worn size 45 with the 10+ pairs I've purchased over the years. I purchased this shoe at size 45 but when I tried it on it was WAY too big (but comfortable). I called Zappos and of course they sent me a 44 which I received in 2 days and it fit perfectly. Yes, this shoe is more expensive than most other workout shoes but I can tell you it's by far the most comfortable I've ever worn. It is top quality that is expected by Ecco and you can tell they didn't cut corners on the design to make a cheap product. I love the Ecco brand and I'm glad I expanded outside their dress shoes to try these workout shoes. So comfortable and like walking/jogging on air. If you're unsure about your sizing go with the size smaller - these run MUCH larger than their dress shoes. Also, as a bonus they put in black shoe laces along with the yellow ones as seen in the photo - pleasant surprise and nice, classy touch. Their packaging is also always high quality and I just want to save the box - even though I don't need it. Their boxes are such good quality and I hate to throw the boxes out.

Have been wearing these for about 3 weeks now. They have incredible arch support, really stabilizes the heel. I have plantar fasciitis so need all the arch support I can get. I had the RXP Receptors for last 4 years but this is even better than that. Good looking shoe has a premium feel and comes with both black and yellow laces. I had to get a size smaller than normal for the perfect snug fit.

This is an awesome shoe. Like a lot of Eccos it looks a little quirky but the support is excellent. I recommend anyone concerned with comfort or anyone with foot problems take a hard look at these.

I just switched to a new job that requires spending all day on my feet (old job was at a desk). I thought my Mizuno running shoes would be a good fit for the task but I was completely wrong. My feet ached after 8-10 hours at work. On a whim, I stopped at the mall and got these shoes this morning. I just got home and took them off after 13 hours; my feet feel so much better than they ever have at the end of the day. There was no breaking in period. They fit perfectly right out of the box and I do not have any sore spots. I will definitely put Eccos on my Christmas list.

WOW, Zappos and ECCO did it again! These ECCO BIOM's are the bomb, very light and comfortable yet study as any workout shoe I have ever had and, I have had many. And, Zappos well, as always great pricing, best service, huge selection.

I've owned these shoes for 1 year 4 months. I'd say after the first year I noticed my right shoe was squishing every time I'd take a step. I think I've developed a hole somewhere on the bottom of the shoe. Air/water gets stuck in their somehow. Strange and hopefully an anomaly.

The footbed of this shoe is so good that I have kept it despite not liking another aspect. For me, the shoe is too high, so it irritates me in my ankle area. The fabric felt very rough at first, but finally settled down. I notice the problem less now, but it's still there. If you are at all inclined, I would recommend trying this shoe. Like other buyers, the first one I bought was too large.

I have both these, and the Ecco Sport Biom Grip. Despite the similar names, they are very different shoes. The Sport Biom Grip has a stiff sole and very firm leather uppers that are a very snug fit, with lots of lateral support. The Sport Biom Train, in the same size, is much more roomy, with a very flexible sole, with less support -- they feel more like bedroom slippers whereas the Biom Grip feels more like a hiking boot/shoe.

The heel is oddly stiff. I would not recommend for running, especially if you strike with your heal. I could stand in these all day, though. Very comfortable.

Nothing special, they are okay. I am on my feet 12+ hours a day and these are not the answer to my sore feet at the end of my shift. Expected more for the price.
