These fit mostly 'true to size,' and I really thought they were going to work for me. I have pretty normal feet, a little on the narrow end of things, so if I have problems with a shoe rubbing it is usually at the heel and not on the sides. But these shoes rubbed like crazy over the 'little toe mound,' the toe knuckle on the outside of my foot. The elastic around the shoe opening just bit into that like crazy after only a short time trying them on around my apartment. Maybe my feet are too bony or something, and someone with more padding up there won't have a problem, but even though these fit okay otherwise, I have to return them.

So far I'm a fan of these flats. I bought these and a pair of Tieks for comparison. These shoes were much more comfortable, the leather is sturdier (my toes didn't look like they were popping through the leather), and they felt more secure on my foot. I have wide feet and I ordered my usual size 8's and they feel fine. These have a nice amount of cushion for a flat. I will update my review after extended wear.

Thought I loved theses shoes. They are soft and comfortable; however, after just a few weeks they are very worn and the leather is peeling in spots. Very disappointing, I would expect better durability for the price.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have been looking for patent nude ballet flats that are and comfortable for years. These are all that! I had to return them for half a size up.

I received these shoes this afternoon and must say I am blown away by the quality, detailing (fine leather texture is very visible and appealing) and comfort of these shoes. I ordered the Black Lamb after much thought, I was originally going to order the Patent Black Ellen - and I am ever so grateful that I stuck with my choice! The Vince Camuto Ellen flat in Black Lamb is a very highly pigmented, rich black color. It is perfect for work attire, and I must mention how insanely comfortable they are. They are true to size despite many review comments advising to order half a size up. I say do not do it, stick to your original shoe size! Because if anything, these are the most true to size shoes that I have worn, and the perfectly placed cushioning right beneath the toes and heel is a bonus. They feel like little pillows that hug the curves of the foot. I cannot stop looking down at my feet, I have been doing this all day at work! I swear I think I am in love! Like most reviewers, I am planning on purchasing a whole collection of these Ellen ballet flats. I have my eyes on colors: Rose, Moonrock, Atlantic Blue and a second pair of Black - but this time Black Patent as I already have Black Lamb. If you are looking for supremely high quality shoes, do not hesitate to buy the Ellen, they are worth every penny! Vince Camuto is a genius when it comes making purses and shoes for women. I am a customer for a lifetime.

I love these flats. I have worn out my first pair of black leather flats and was delighted to find this shoe still available . I reordered my black leather plus 2 other colors .

Sadly these are being returned. I love ballet flats and have quite a few pairs. The fuchsia color was exactly what I was looking for, and I loved the all around look until I slipped them on and had super toe cleavage. While this does happen on ballet flats, it was more extreme than usual in this case. The edge also rubbed terribly across the top of my big toe, though perhaps that would not have been a problem after breaking them in. They were less comfortable all around than other ballet flats I have owned in the $100 and under price range. Compared to Lucky Brand's Emmie, in which I do not sport toe cleavage, I found them less comfortable but comparable in quality despite the price. I am much more impressed with the Sam Edelman Felicia I purchased at the same time, although they are a much darker color and more refined look. My search for an everyday fuchsia pair continues.

I bought the pink color for my wedding for an added pop of color! These are the most comfortable flats that I have ever put on! It seriously feels like you are not wearing anything. I can see what some other reviews mean when they say the sides can rub on the ground. These shoes are pretty flat (duh, they are flats!), but I do not have an issue with it. I love these shoes so much that I am planning on buying other colors.

I love this color. It is right in between gold and silver and can wear with anything! I feel like they run a bit small. I ordered three different flats in size 8. This is the only one that I am going to go with an 8½. They are super comfortable!

These shoes are fantastic! I ordered them in the nude color and they are great. I was pleasantly surprised by how cushioned the footbed was. They took a few wear to break in. I normally wear between a 9½ and 10. I ordered these in the 10 and they fit just fine. I would highly recommend them.

These are very cute! I am a little concerned that the sole of the shoe doesn't protect under the tip of the toe area possibly causing wear on the leather. I haven't decided whether I will keep them. ??

After spending months looking for the perfect plain black leather low-profile ballerina shoes, I finally found them! I tried these shoes in the black lamb along with the Kenneth Cole Slip on By and the Born Julianne, and preferred the Vince Camutos by far. The leather is incredibly soft, and the entire shoe is very flexible and forms to the foot. The lining is leather, which is great for breathability. The sole is very low profile. There is not any support to speak of. In fact, the shoe sort of folds upward when you are not wearing them. However, that is part of what I was looking for in a low-profile flat. The elastic area around the top of the shoe felt comfortable at first, but began to dig into the top of my foot after about an hour of wear. However, I am sure that they will stretch out as soon as I break them in a bit. My only concern is how long they last. Because the leather is so soft and flexible, I am afraid that they will wear out faster than I would like. I will update if that is the case.

I love these flats, great color, style and fairly comfortable. As expected there is no arch support which is fine with me, as far as size goes, I'd say they run a touch small. I'm typically a 10 in flats and these are a bit snug. great quality and super cute on! no elastic at the heel so they don't squeeze or rub as some flats do.

Ellen by Vince Camuto-- a great flat for my size 10 M long thin bony feet! I spend all day standing (another teacher!) and walking, and I'm glad to report these are soft and buttery on the inside and never a rub or sore spot. They're suede, so can't wear them in wet weather (but that's obvious, sorry). The navy blue is beautiful; goes with jeans, skirts, etc.

These seemed to fit perfectly, and I absolutely love the way they look. However, after wearing them for about 15-20 minutes, something pinches the outside top of each foot! I hoped they might stretch out, but have tried wearing them for a little while for a few days, and they still hurt. Sadly, I will have to return them.

I've been purchasing this shoe since 2012. By far the most comfortable flats. I currently have then in the black, blush and moon rock. I want the blue ones next!

Just received these today. The black lamb leather is very soft and pliable. Very comfortable, essentially a slipper. No arch support but I didn't expect there to be in this type of shoe. Fits true to size.

These flats are very cute, and they feel like comfy slippers. There's no arch support, and if you have to do a lot of standing or walking these would not be the right shoes. But if you've got minimal walking and mostly sitting to do, these are very attractive, and don't rub anywhere (on my feet at least) so they won't even be causing any blisters to break them in. The "Dark Navy" shade is a beautiful color. I'd say they're navy, but not that dark navy that looks almost black...these definitely look blue. They look exactly as pictured here. Very pretty color.

I have worn only once for the full work day. Liked how they felt. They were good for walking btw buildings for meetings and getting lunch.

I was looking into reordering a couple of spares in Black Lamb and realized I've been wearing a fresh pair of these flats every year for the last 4-5 years! These are an absolute must in my wardrobe. I wear them every day, and find myself gravitating towards them after wearing heels. That being said, I can only wear the ones made out of the soft lamb material. I've tried the red and turquoise patent ones because they were half price last year and rarely wear them because the patent leaves blisters on my feet. The Black Lamb ones never leave a blister and are perfectly comfy on days I don't want to wear heels or boots, or want to walk from my car up many stairs to get to my office. I wear these 4-6 days a week every week barefoot and usually replace them after wearing them out after a year. They are lightweight, comfortable and look classy whether you're wearing a skirt or pants. I have pretty wide feet, but I've never had issues with them being narrow. All that being said, these are not shoes for you if you're looking for any kind of arch support. These are simple ballet flats with no arch support at all. The sole isn't thin or anything - it's made out of a sturdy rubber.

These are very comfortable. I've been searching for a good pair of black flats for some time and finally found some. One of the heels rubs a little bit but not enough to even need a bandaid yet. The bottoms have some cushion which is nice and I've worn them all day long for several days with no complaints.

I am normally a 7.5 or 8 but purchased an 8.5 in these shoes. I have had to wear band aids under my ankle bones because the shoe rubbed badly even though I have narrow feet. The shoes make a weird suction sound when walking BUT I am keeping them now that I have worn them three days to break them in. They are cute. I purchased the black patent. Won't purchase again however.

Great flats! This is my second pair of the black lamb. The last pair lasted me years. Eventually the black started to fade, but a little black shoe polish fixed that quickly. Super comfortable and goes with everything! I also bought the bisque patent previously, and I hated those. They weren't as comfortable and discolored quickly.

I purchased for a last minute weekend trip and they were comfortable right out of the box. True to size, I got the 7.5 and can wear with or without my little socklettes. The interior is super soft leather and sole is rubber.
