I bought these Birkenstocks believing they are leather. No they are a flimsy fake leather that I doubt would last. Had I kept them, they would have been my 12th pair of Birks. I started wearing Birkenstocks in 1979.

not sure what Birko-flor means, but these are not cut the same as regular Birkenstock’s. the foot is shaped wrong and since I wear a 9 women’s, you would think the 39 would fit, nope- they are gigantic. making sure I buy the regular Birks next time.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I just can't seem to like this brand. I have tried. Just tooo hard and flat. Hard to walk in. I really am liking the aertex brand and alegria for support and comfort.

This is my first time wearing Birkenstocks. I never thought I'd wear them because I really don't care about fads at all and this Birkenstock thing is clearly a fad. Nevertheless, when I got a heel spur, my podiatrist encouraged me to wear sandals in the house instead of walking barefoot and wanted me to wear the hardest and firmest sandals I could find. Enter Birkenstock. It sure is...hard. Like really hard. Like walking on rocks hard. The soft foot-bed is maybe marginally softer than the regular (which I tried on as well)? Hard to tell. Okay, a few other things I didn't like other than it being hard. One, the cork is actually breaking down on my foot. Like, when I take my foot out of the sandals, I see small pieces of brown cork on the bottom of my foot. Which is gross and weird. Finally, the Birko-Flor uppers? The part against your foot attracts dust and lint. Once again, gross. Never had a shoe do that before. Overall, I am clearly not a fan.

Wore a pair of Arizona Birkenstocks into shreds 25 years ago and after wearing wide Chacos almost exclusively since then, thought I'd try the soft footbed. Good news: the lower toe bar made the fit better than the traditional footbed Mayari style I'd tried, but after 45 minutes of wear around the house I had terrible heel pain. I know that Birks can take a while to break in and that a lot of podiatrists don't approve of them, but i thought my feet my be an exception to that....guess not. They are going back.

I have been wearing Birkenstock for decades; these pair did not do it for me; the man made upper part is weird, the soft bed too different. Rather have the original, which I will replace this pair with.

There was a stain on the footbed. Also, they are the soft footbed, which I do not like. The original footbed is by far the best for comfort

The size was good. The shoes came in a brown box was not in the birkenstock box. Shoes look like they may have been out on display or something. was very disappointed. I returned.

Everything was great except they are blue... I thought they were dark Grey or black. Therefore, I am returning them.

I like the shoes, but unfortunately the left one seems defective. My foot seems to turn inside by the big toe area.

Love Birkenstocks and have several pair. It is difficult to find style I like as well as color in a narrow width. This style only came in regular width so gave them a try...way to wide and too long. Sadly have to return them.

Very disappointed. I got my size, but that was too small. Had them send the next size, but although feet can fit, I cannot get the straps to go over my feet to buckle. Returning for my money!

This is the second time I have ordered the Florida in white. The first time I received a pair with the standard cork footbed instead of the soft footbed as described. I decided to try once more since they are still listed as having a soft footbed. They do not. So sad. I love the Florida with the soft footbed and was looking forward to the white.

This is not a ‘soft footbed’ shoe!!! I know that there is some break-in period associated with Birkenstock shoes, however, it will take a really, really long time to break these in.

I was very disappointed when I received these. They are advertised as the soft bed and they are not. Buyer beware.

I ordered this because it supposedly has a soft footbed, and I ordered the regular width. On both counts, this shoe disappointed. It felt more like a narrow width, and I didn't find the footbed soft at all. Disappointed, but appreciate being able to do free returns with Zappos.

Well I ordered 36 cause I wear size 6. I had to wear them fir a while to see if they worked. I believe they are to big and way to wide.it was hard to tell until I actually tried to wear them out of my house. Now I can’t wear them cause they slide off my feet and I can’t return them. These sandals definitely run wide if u have a regular width foot. U kniw they must be great if u purchase the correct size.

Felt good in my home. Painful wearing for 3 hours. Water blisters on the sides of my feet at the arches, blisters on my toes. And my lower back hurt just the same as if I were wearing my flip flops. Birks are not for me.
