It's a little early (just received my order earlier this week), but I've been asked to review. I am a diehard Birki's (not Birkenstock, per se) fan. There's nothing more comfortable for my feet - wish I could wear them all year round (but I'm not a socks-with-Birks person)! I have a narrow foot and a problem big toe with a nerve issue. I own three other pairs of Birki's and one pair of Birkenstocks, but Birkenstock has stopped making Birki's in the styles I love. (They seem to be concentrating on clogs and garden sandals. Actually ordered my last pair directly from Germany.) I am trying Florida because it was advertised as having a "soft Birki-floor footbed." I can't wait to try them out. They seem to fit well and feel right. I have always been more than pleased with Birkenstock products, and am hopeful that these will be as good or better than others I've ordered. You just can't beat the quality and comfort imo. Thanks, Zappos, as always, for your great service!

I so wanted to like these Birkenstock sandals. However, the straps are placed so as to "catch" my pinky toe, with every step, despite my attempts to adjust the sandal. So, had to return them. Just the shape of my foot, I fear. Otherwise, the sandals were extremely comfortable. Such a shame for me!

I wore this shoe many years ago and loved them, but moved away from them when I started teaching. 20+ years later, I saw them and tried tried them again. Still comfortable, but as I have aged I need a little more arch support and heel lift (for my hip). Still a great show.

I was hoping that I would become a Birkenstock person!! The Birko-Flor feels NICE! But.....the strap arrangement wasn't good for my foot. I have a high instep and the 3rd strap presses too much. And then.......I also found it a hair too narrow (Regular Width). I have to make sure that a new foot problem (bunionette) does not rub against inside lip of footbed. Even checked with Podiatrist (drew him a picture of HOW close it was with Arizona). He encouraged me to try. With the Arizona in Suede straps: with straps being "comfortable" - my foot slid forward. Oh well.......still would LOVE to find a shoe with cork footbed!! Naot has a WIDE WIDTH and the sandals are a little dressier. Still need an everyday sandal.

As great as these are, I prefer the Arizon in suede because I'm using them as slippers. For outdoor wear I need an ankle strap.

These are true to the usual Birkenstock sandals but I ended up returning them because the straps hit me at my bunion and were not as comfortable as my Arizona sandals. I definitely like the soft foot bed better than the original foot bed.

They are comfortable, fit well but just wasn’t crazy about tha style on my feet. So I’m sending them back. Sorry Zappos and Birkenstock I like the Granada better.

I love these sandals. I really wanted the navy soft footbed. They are my favorite style. But I couldn’t get the sizing right. I usually wear 8-8.5 and a 39 narrow or 38 reg in other styles. But the narrow soft footbed Florida felt too narrow and uncomfortable. Straps were too tight. The reg 39 was just too big with too much toe room. I worried about tripping. The 38 reg was nice but too short. So a big thank you to Zappos for its wonderful service and return policy. It’s why I keep coming back!

Decent sandals but they weren't really that soft, but t was still comfy. It felt like regular Birkenstock instead of soft like stated.

A bit more stiff feeling than I expected but hopefully they will break in nicely and be more comfortable.

got papillio floral. has sturdy buckles, easy to adjust. but straps leaves terrible tan marks

This is my first pair of Pappilio shoes and they are definitely different than regular Birkenstocks. Not as much support and the footbed is not as soft as a soft Birkenstock footbed. However, the print is adorable and they are very comfortable once broken in. They are also more narrow than regular Birkenstocks. After a week of breaking them in, I love them!

I like the somewhat "lighter" look to this 3-strap style (as compared to the Arizona) but unfortunately this style ran unusually large (long).

I had to go to shoe repair shop to have extra holes put in the straps which I have never had to before as I have a wide foot. Looks are horrible, comfort great once you get broken in a bit and used to difference to a regular sandal footbed. If you care about looking like bigfoot these are not for you!

I like this brand of sandals, however this was the first time I bought a soft footbed and I would do it not again. They make my feet hot. Like having a sock on the bottom of my feet instead of a cool base.

These soft footbed Birks are great! They are comfortable and supportive- much more cushioned than the reg. Birks... I did not give all 5 stars because well, let's face it, they are not the most stylish, better than the Arizona. :-) I wish the soft footbeds in the Floridas came in more colors. I wear a size 8 shoe and these 38 fits great. I think after having the soft footbeds, I can't go back to the reg kind! I hope these also conform as well as the Arizonas. I also have wide feet. Maybe not wide enough to ever wear "wide" shoes, but I have a bunion on my right foot which makes it tricky to find shoes that are stylish enough to hide the bunion, and comfy. These Floridas seem to fit the bill.

I love the style but am not sold on the soft footbed. This is my first time to try it; I am a long time Birkenstock girl and always gotten the cork footbed. I've worn these almost every day for a month and the footbed still isn't "soft" like the cork would have been by now. So, love the style and get lots of compliments but back to the cork for me.

They were a bit long.

I have these shoes in brown and ordered the same size in black. The 39 black shoes feel and look so much larger than the size 39 that I’ve been wearing. I’m going to try to size down to a 38 and see if that helps. In the photo, all three of these sandals are size 39. The ones I just received on the left and the ones in the middle are the same style but the ones on the left are a lot longer and wider. The ones on the right are also 39 but a different style - still slightly larger, but fit OK. Not sure why they’re such a variation but the black ones are way too big.

a little big and althought it saif sofe bed, it is very hard.

These are NOT leather uppers. I wear a 7.5 but the 38 is too short. My middle toe hits the lip. If there was no lip, they’d fit fine.

Size was OK. Was just too narrow.

It feels like it is loosening up as I wear it. Doesn't feel like my last Birkenstock pair of sandals.

The shoe fit just fine. I ordered three because sometimes they are all perfect but often I love one more than the others. I didn't even try to walk with these. The toe immediately felt uncomfortable. I no longer try to break a shoe in. If it isn't comfortable right away, I don't keep them even if I like the look. These were more delicate in appearance for a Birkenstock so I wanted to really like them but unfortunately I will be returning them.

I have a high instep, and this shoe did not work for me. I loved the shoe, but could not get it on my left foot.
