Arizona soft footbed - What can I say about Birkenstock Arizona’s. Not much on looks, but so comfortable, especially with the soft footbed…I have a wide foot, but can order a regular width in Birkenstocks. I've decided that I will only wear Birkenstock from now on, because of the comfort when they mold to your foot...clumsy and not great looking, but this is my shoe, got them in all styles...

Wonderful when broken in - I have worn Birkies forever. I like the softer footbed and the fit is true to size for my tall girl feet. The only challenge is that the inner side of my arch needs to toughen up as the shoes are broken in. I wear socks or a band aid. Without that protection I endure a blister on the inside of my arch until the shoes stretch into their broken in state.

Sandal lover - How can you go wrong with Birkenstock's? The soft footbed was a pleasant surprise, even more comfortable.....

I never could wear Birkenstock shoes because the arches are just too hard for me. I had an accident with my foot and I think I broke some toes and maybe some nerve damage and have not been able to wear shoe on that foot for weeks. I have been wearing flip-flops or a post-op boot on that one foot. Well anyway I thought I would give these Soft Footbed shoes a try and they are quite comfortable. Haven't worn them to work yet where I constantly stand and walk (retail) but I think they will be ok. I am just happy to find a shoe that I can wear without hurting my toes. I followed the other recommendations and ordered a narrow width even though I am med width. The shoes fit me perfect. The straps do fall down but I don't care, they are soft and don't hurt my feet. As always Zappos delivered my shoes in record time. Thanks Zappos!

Birkenstock - I love this shoe for summer. They go with anything and are pretty comfy. The only thing I don’t like is after wearing them for a while they hurt the bottom of my foot. Zappos is awesome I will buy again.

Birkenstocks - I have enjoyed Birkenstock foot wear for more than 20 years. The fact that I keep buying this comfortable shoe style year after year will tell you I do enjoying nice, and healthy foot wear. They can be worn with socks or bare foot.

Just the Ticket - I have been having problems with great toe pain and these were recommended by a poditrist. They have worked great.

A toe wiggler slip-on - You got to wiggle your toes to slip this shoe on. The straps are not firm enough to just slip on. It just falls and rest on top of the foot bed. I refuse to bend over to help slip this shoe on. This shoe is very, very comfortable. I tried this exact shoe on at a store and the straps did not fall down; it had some body to it. They did not have this color so I decided to buy it from Zappos. Birkenstock should make their shoes identical in the same model number. I may return this shoe and try finding the one I like--the straps that does not fall down.

Wide feet! I haven't taken these shoes off since they arrived. They are PERFECT! Do buy the normal width if you have wide feet and do buy your normal size, not the size you buy to accommodate the width.

Birthday Husband - 56 yr. old male - All in all - very pleased. Took 3 tries to get the size right. Size 41 in Ecco shoes worked out to be 39 in B'stocks. Very comfy w/ good cushion. Just wish the straps were stiff enough to hold their shape & not flop so one could just walk up to them & slip them on. Exchanging sizes with Zappos could not have been any easier. Will certainly do business with Zappos again. Thank you.

Arizona Soft Footbed Birkenstock - These shoes are very comfortable. The only thing I regret is that I cannot slide my foot directly into the shoe because of the straps over the foot. They are made of suede, and will not stay off the footbed. I like sandals that I can slide my foot into without using my hands. I guess I should have bought some without the suede straps. This is the only thing I dislike about these sandals.

Amazing!!! I was late ordering a birthday gift but my gift order came in a few days. What a surprise and delight for me. The Birkenstock's looked and fit perfect. I didn't have to leave the house. Thanks!

Even better than the original... This is my second pair of Birks in 15 years--a replacement pair for my originals that finally gave up the ghost. I was intrigued by the soft footbed option and absolutely love it--super comfortable, and great for my high arches and plantar fasciitis.

Still the best - Been wearing Birkenstock's forever, the soft bed is the greatest and the narrow width is an added plus for us with long bony feet! I wear them without socks in the summer and with socks in the winter, these Birkies will go anywhere anytime.

Love this shoe - This is the best Birkenstock made. The soft footbed is wonderful. I have narrow feet so I was very happy with the narrow width. They are comfortable right out of the box. I have plantar fasciitis-this is the only shoe I can wear without my insert.

Perfect - Exactly what I wanted. Very comfortable and the look is right for me.

Lighter than air - I have never owned a pair of Birkenstock's before. I bought these after much deliberation and I must say. . . they are well worth the price. I don't feel like I'm wearing anything on my feet, there is no discomfort whatsoever. They make my feet look small and cute, which thrills me because I wear a size 11. This is a great brand, and an amazing style.

A wardrobe must!!! I wear J.M.Weston, Hermes, YSL, Gucci, Prada, LV, Jill Sander, Sergio Rossi, Dries Van Noten, Churches and could not live without my Birkenstocks.

Perfect - My last pair purchased was a size 43 but after wearing them for 8 months the sole stretched out in length and width. So I opted for a size 42 this time, which are a perfect fit. Very comfortable. The soft bed is the way to go.

Too Early to Tell? I enjoy wearing sandals and have always worn the "back strap" type--which stay firmly on my feet. This is my first pair of "slide" sandals, so I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of comfort. I was attracted to the idea of being able to slide them on and off of my feet with ease. My first impression was how comfortable the soft bed footbed felt on my feet. However, I was disappointed that the sandals felt very loose, even at the tightest setting. The footbed seems to fit my foot properly. I ordered the 11-11/2 size despite the fact that I usually wear close to a 12. So, I punched an additional hole in each of the loops to make the sandal fit a little tighter. I ended up having to punch another hole on the right sandal to get them to fit tight enough! I was very hesitant to start punching holes in my new sandals since I assumed that doing so eliminated my return option. However, this simple procedure seemed to do the trick. It's too early to tell if I will love these sandals as much as my previous "back strap" ones. However, they are very comfortable right out of the box and I expecting that they will get more comfortable with use. The only reason that I've given these sandals a 4 star rating is that I didn't expect to have to add additional holes on sandals at this price.

A foot saver - I ordered these for my son after he was diagnosed with a severe case of plantar fasciitis. He could not walk on his foot. The Dr. recommended he go buy a pair of Birkenstocks. After my son received these he told me that these shoes were VERY comfortable the minute he put them on. A real foot saver for him to walk around with the support he needed. I ordered them from Zappos because he was limping so bad a trip to the mall would have been painful. Thank you Zappos for your excellent product lines and customer service!!

Would not purchase again - can't wear left sandal - Ordered two pairs, one for me and one for my sister. It took about two weeks to adjust to these sandals. You have to buckle the straps loosely in order for the sandals to fit properly. My right sandal fits perfect, something is wrong with the left sandal. It hurts the arch of my left foot and I can't stand wearing the left sandal. If I knew this would happen I would have sent my pair back. Since I wore these sandals outside to break them in I'm stuck with them. Wish I could have the left sandal replaced. I feel there is a manufactures problem with this left sandal. My sister had no problem with her pair, said they are very comfortable & don't hurt her arch. I also purchased two pairs of the Milano soft footbed sandals for the two of us and neither one of us had a problem with them. The left sandal does not hurt my arch so this is the pair I'm wearing----they feel great.

The best sandal ever! I recently purchased my third pair of Birkenstock Arizona soft footbed sandals. They are by far the most comfortable sandals I own. These Birkenstocks do not have to be broken in. They feel like they were made for your foot the first time you wear them. I'll be sad when fall arrives and it is too cool to wear my Birkenstocks!

WOW I love these Birks! The soft bed was the best improvement they have ever made in the shoe. You can tell the difference right away and no breaking in time needed. It's not a cloud, but it is awfully close! I hope they make more styles with this foot bed! I got the reg and I am at the last hole, they are fine in the foot bed, maybe half size smaller than they say. I got 39's

Birkies Are Great! My first experience with Birkenstocks, and I'm pleased overall with them. I usually wear a medium width shoe, but probably would be more comfortable in the narrower width. Excellent arch support and the soft footbed is very soothing. However, one shoe produces pressure on the outside of my foot, causing much discomfort after walking a couple blocks. Thus the four star rating. I'll probably be ready to try another pair next summer!
