They make a little fart noise occasionally when I walk because the arch support makes great connection and so the suction noise is kinda funny. I guess it’s a thing with the brand for some people. But overall I love them and will get more.

I originally went up a size based on recommendations and had to return because they were too large. I have a wide foot and have high arches and felt the shoes were comfortable especially for when I am on my feet all day long. The only issue I have is when I try to wear with socks (lame I know), they are too snug despite being on the last hole.

I bought these under the presumption that they are the most comfortable shoes to own. It took me 6 months of wearing and constantly adjusting looking for that fit. They were so uncomfortable at first. I couldn't wear them loose, but couldn't wear them tight. I almost gave up and sent them packing. Then it was like a miracle overnight. They molded to my feet and really are the most comfortable shoes I own. I find myself wearing these as house slippers, errand doers, and casual night out footwear. I hate that I love them so much because we had such a rough start! I am contemplating purchasing a second pair in another style, but am not looking forward to the new break in period.

Like butter with arch support. I wear a women’s 11W and the 42 fit perfectly. I haven’t bought Birkenstocks for years because I don’t like breaking them in. If I’d known about the “new” soft footbed, I’d have come back sooner. The taupe-gray is a good neutral, doesn’t accentuate the the fact that your feet resemble beaver tails. Worth every dime.

I absolutely love my Birkenstock’s! I could wear them everyday. However my husband hates the style. What’s a girl to do?

These soft bed are great... fit like the original but with more cush and the velvet grey color is beautiful

Obsessed with these sandals. So comfortable and the only sandals that I can wear all day without my back hurting me. Saw some reviews to order a half size to a size down but I ended up exchanging them for my normal size.

I wear womens 7.5 in shoes and the size 37 is perfect for my feet! I had originally ordered a 38 as the size chart recommended it but they were too big. These are perfect!

I have a wide foot and the regular width fit perfect. The straps with buckles are adjustable, it even covered my bunion!

Fifteen years ago, I bought my first pair of these shoes. A few weeks ago I decided it was time for a new pair. I still have, and wear, my first pair, but once, one of our dogs chewed one of the straps and I panicked just a bit. However, we have a wonderful cobbler here and he repaired it almost to its original condition. That was a few months ago. It was then I started thinking about ordering another pair, "just in case." I have them now, and they are as comfortable and reliable as my first pair. I have strangely- shaped feet: long, narrow, hammer toes, unusually high arch, no fat on the bottoms. These Birkenstocks are truly the only ones that fit my feet and cause no problems. That said, because of the shape of my feet, it's my excuse for not wearing heels for years. I even wore my pair of black Birks. to one of our son's wedding two years ago, while dressed in palazzo-like pants and an "appropriate" top, and no one even raised an eyebrow. At least none that I saw. I was most comfortable.

I had some Birks back in the 90s and never expected to buy another pair (mainly because I associated them with jam bands and patchouli), but I really needed some footwear to relieve pain in my feet (plantar fasciitis). After some internet research, I learned that many people with PF find Birks to be amazingly comfortable, so I started looking around for a pair. I ended up picking these up in the velvet grey suede and absolutely love the color... and the style! I've worn them a few times to try to break them in, so I haven't really noticed a big difference yet, but I do really like them!

I exchanged the regular ones for these soft footbed and it totally made the difference! They are so soft! Also, i am a 6 1/2 with a mid-wide foot and I got the 36 narrow (previously I got the 37 regular and it felt too wide)

My D lives in Birkenstocks, year round - she just adds socks for winter. The black suede is a rich color, soft feel. She is a true size 7 in every shoe, and a 37 in this show, NOT a 38 as the size chart recommends.

My foot measures: 9 5/8 long x 7 1/16 all the way around at the widest point. I have mild arthritis in my right big toe. I was apprehensive, but these fit and they feel great. Lots of support...very little to no pain. It's a change for me from my ballet slippers and my skimpy sandals...but I have no choice. These are funky and cool and I'll be able to carry them off with jeans or a casual summer shift. They're adjustable so I can wear them "hipster" style with socks. I like this color because it kind of blends in with tan legs. The "Narrow" does make a difference.

I am a longtime Birkenstock customer and was thrilled to be able to find the Arizona on Zappos. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with the "soft footbed" and right out of the box they were comfortable. It's not a squishy footbed but nice compared to the old break in period. I have been wearing them everyday since they arrived. Imitation Birkenstocks do not even come close so just hold out for the originals. If it helps, I am 5'11" and 160 lbs., a size 11 shoe and wear a 42 regular.

Love them. This is my first pair of the soft footbed, and I don't think I'll go back. Really like the color, too.

These are the best Birks I have ever had! The color is a bit lighter than in the picture, but they are WAY better. If you watch the video, you will get a better idea of the actual color. I prefer the "normal" width even though I have narrow feet. I am ALL about comfort and you can't get better than these soft bed Birks. As always, Zappos is amazing! Zappos is a shoe lover's dream. :)

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever bought. I am pregnant and my feet were getting very tired and achy. Being a teacher, I'm on my feet all day and these helped me get through the end of the school year!

Absolutely love this shoe. I have had Birkenstocks before but this is the first time with the soft footbed. All their shoes should be made with the soft footbed. Wonderful!

Second pair of Birkenstocks in 10 years and my feet are once again happy. First time using Zappos and it was great. Thank you.

These are awesome as always. They fit perfectly at the right size. They are sturdy and offer support.

Great sandal, only issue I have and is the same with all Birks is the arch break in. The sandal will rub the inside of my arch creating some irritation. Eventually it goes away, but though the soft footbed would be better. Fit was good, although I did order a size larger, I need extra room in the toe area.

I have super high arches. I wear these soft beds around the house for slippers. My high arch Birkenstocks are for work and outdoors. Very compfy.

Love this Birkenstocks. Been wearing these since the 1970's. The soft footbed is great! Felt great right from the start.
