Went two sizes smaller (36 for 7.5 foot) in regular width and while the shoe length was perfect, the shoe was still too wide. The floorbed felt a little softer, but still not soft per se, vs other Birks. The style was also a bit to masculine for my taste.

The shoe fits well, but even though I have an average width foot, this shoe has to be buckled on the tightest hole to secure my foot in place. They also make an annoying suction cup sound when I walk. I spoke to a friend recently who told me her first pair of narrow Birkenstocks also made that sound and she exchanged them for the regular width, but unfortunately, the regular width is too wide for my foot. I was told to try powder or cornstarch to the footbed, which I will try.

I'm so disappointed and I guess I will maybe figure out if I want to order the narrow. I generally wear a M width, that sometimes still feels too tight so I went with the regular width. I know they're unisex so maybe I should've known they were bound to be wide. And they are. Thankfully I can return and decide if I want to order the Narrow. Thank you Zappos for amazing customer service.

Unfortunately I had to return the straps were just too floppy for me and since I needed them at the tightest hole, I’m sure they would stretch out at some point.

I really like these Birkenstock’s but the only problem is that they leave color on my feet which is disappointing. They are very comfortable but I think they have an issue.

I ordered a narrow but the shoes I got were not in a box I don’t know if I actually got a narrow size I returned them because they were too wide I will reorder and try again It’s very odd that they were not in a box

I thought since it was unisex that I should order narrow and I was wrong. Maybe it’s just my feel but the right arch did not fit right so I returned and ordered a regular width. Hope it works.

I love how cute these are but they don't work for me. I have really flat feet and the arch in these made my feet sore after wearing them around the house for an hour. Too expensive to break them in and hope for the best....returned them.

Something has changed at Birkenstock. I have purchased 8-10 pair of Birkenstocks over the years, always a size 38. Now size 38 is more like a size 39 (8.5-9, not a 7-7.5). Even on the tightest buckle notches the shoes are too loose.

I have a few pair of birks all size 37. So I ordered these and the length was great but the straps were HUGE even on the tightest hole. So I ordered a 37 narrow and the straps fit great but I lost length and my toes hit the edge. I returned both. Not sure if I’m going to try maybe a 38 narrow??? idk if any size will work since these are unisex.

I wanted these to work out but I tried 3 different sizes and no luck. Many people love these but I just couldn’t find a size that was comfortable. I do love Zappos return policy. I almost tried ordering one more size but gave up on these.

Because I was unsure how this sandal was supposed to fit and have never worn Birkenstock’s, I returned them. Never have been a fan of their “look” but looking for casual comfort so I thought I would try. Ordered 5/5.5 but should have ordered my regular size, 6.5. Would prefer to go into a store so I could get assistance on properfot.

I was quite disappointed because these were supposed to be a "soft" footbed model and I had to add Dr. Schol's pads to make them comfortable.

My husband has a size 14 foot but since reviews and Zappos stated the 13-13.5 should fit since they run big I ordered them but they were too small. I would say these are true to size because I had the same issue with mine. So buy what you normally wear in flip flops and you should be good. Luckily I was able to return them hassle free bummer part they don’t come in 14’s

I normally wear a woman’s 7.5 to 8 but since reviews said they run big I ordered the 7-7.5 and they were just slightly too small. I ordered the narrow so that may be a factor but I have narrow feet. I may consider ordering a size up since I was easily able to return them.

I bought the unisex to replace old pair. The new ones were narrow and side by side comparison more narrow than previous purchases.

The suede is soft and the footbed is very comfortable. However since this is a unisex shoe is runs VERY wide. I had to return the sandal. The length was fine but even on the tightest setting, the straps were too loose. I would recommend ordering a narrow fit in this shoe.

I tried to like these, I really did. I had first ordered the regular width, which was too wide, so I returned those and got the narrow width. My feet felt good in them; however, the lip in the front kept on rubbing on my toes, and made it hard to walk. As much as I hate to, I'm returning these too. Maybe it's just the make of them - I really wanted to wear them.

Too bad these shoes were too wide. I ordered the narrow, had them buckled on the last hole, and still my feet were swimming in them.

I didn't have a problem with these sandals other than the fact that the black suede ones faded black on my feet everywhere they touched.

Not as soft as expected, eventhough I ordered the soft footbed. Straps too loose, one more hole would be ideal. Love, love, love the look: effortless cool.

These were my first pair of Birks and I was pretty disappointed. They were not comfortable at all, sole wasn’t not very cushioned and the straps are sharp and dig into my toes. Also still felt too wide for my narrow feet despite ordering in size narrow and adjusting the straps. I got a pair of faux birks from target for $10 and they were INCREDIBLY comfortable, right out of the box so I guess I’ll save myself $100+...

Last May i acquired my first pair of Brikenstock sandals, at first they were the perfect shoes and as time went by they started to loose up, and I ordered a Narrow size which is confusing because I cant tight them at all. Also the quality of the product is not what i expected, they start to hurt the top of my last fingers. I would order half size up to give more comfort.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. I like the fit and feel. Except the straps on the right shoe are a half inch longer than those on the left. Are these irregular shoes that I’m paying full price for? Or is this common for Birks?

The foot bed was to hard for my foot. I need soft and comfortable for my feet at my age.
