I ordered the Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed\'s for my husband who has a wide foot and likes comfort. It\'s the first pair of Birkenstock\'s he has ever owned and he loves them. He say\'s that they felt great from the first wear and he will only buy Birkenstock from now on.

I am diabetic and have neuropathy in my feet. I have always worn Birkenstocks, but last year the cork footbed began to hurt my feet, so I had to give them up. When I saw these soft footbed Birks, I decided to try them. I am so glad that I did. They are wonderful. They fit just like the regular ones, but do not cause me any foot pain at all. I love them.

A shoe to wear to forget about daily tensions and hurting feet. They are soft and arch supporting. I have these in five different colors and enjoy wearing each and very one. Love the new fall colors. Life is good when stepping out in an Arizona Soft Footbed.

Birkenstocks need no review: perfect for summertime in and out. First time Zappos user, though and they are perfect, too. Tried to buy new Birks locally, but to no avail. I happened to think of Zappos from ads in the New Yorker. Within ten minutes, my order was placed and within two days, my new sandals were here. Much easier (and better selection) than the stores 45 minutes away.

I owned a pair of Birkenstock sandals for many years. They finally wore out and needed replacing. The Arizona Soft Footbed sandal is great. Same great arch support as my old pair, but now a slightly softer sole. The footbed isn't squishy, it just has a little more cushion than the original. They are expensive, but Birkenstocks will last for years.

I purchased these Birkenstock sandals for my husband and he just loves them and me. I've been wearing Birkenstock shoes now for more than 10 years and I can't begin to tell you how they relieved the pain in my hip.

Despite their mildly eccentric appearance, the soft footbed Birkenstocks are a delicious treat for feet. Once you wear them, you will have little tolerance for ill-fitting shoes, however fashionable.

The most comfortable sandal made, period. Even out of the box I can wear the soft footbed Arizona's for eight hours or more. I now have five pairs of Arizonas and love them all. Zappos is a top-shelf company. It is such a pleasant surprise dealing with a company that not only believes in customer service, but excels in customer service.

Very comfortable, but I had to add a few more holes to the top and bottom straps for a better fit. That was no problem, I just used very sharp scissors to make the holes. After the adjustment, these shoes feel great. I usually wear a size 8, and the 39 is a tad too big, but I kept them anyways.

This is the fourth pair of Arizona Birkenstocks I have had. I love this sandal. The soft footbed conforms to your foot and can be worn year around inside and out. It is the most comfortable and supportive sandal you will find. They never go out of style, great with jeans or shorts. Wear like iron and can be resoled.

Very comfortable shoe. Great support and looks. The upper part is designed for guys with "fat" feet, so they are a bit hard to get snug enough so that they don't slip off. I needed to go to a shoe repair shop to get additional holes to adjust them to fit better. The foot bed is the right length and width, and once I fixed this issue, they are wonderful sandals. I wear them well past the summer season.

Super sandals - zero break-in if you are used to wearing Birkenstocks already. Not the prettiest sandal, but soft, cushy footbeds for hours of walking and/or staying on your feet. My only suggestion would be when purchasing any style with the soft footbed, to order a size up from your regular size. I have found that the extra cushioning takes up more room than the regular hard footbed. I just wish Birkenstock would make MORE styles in the soft footbed… so amazing!

I recently purchased my Birkenstocks and I wear them all day everyday! I exercise about 6 days a week. I began having foot pain in the ball of one foot from wearing inexpensive shoes around the house. The pain completely went away after the first week. What a great shoe!

These ROCK for comfort. Been at wit's end with the fasciitis problem (in a perfect world Birkenstock would come up with a comp toe for work), have a pair of these for knocking around and a cuter pair for going out, both with the newer softbed. They stay on your feet, don't make slap sounds when you walk and, having come of age in the 60's, I never did think they were ugly. To each his own, right? Interesting thing about the Birkenstock insole: while it "encourages the natural gripping motion of the toes" it's a gentle gripping. Most open-backed sandals have me digging my toes in like crazy to keep the sandals on. I have high arches and a very high instep, a double whammy for finding shoes that fit. So many shoe reviews show "excellent arch support" but seem to have been written by people with normal arches. These really DO have excellent arch support.
