The service at Zappos is amazing like always. The Birks are very comfortable, not the best looking shoe but very comfortable. These did run a size too big so order a size smaller.

I own several pairs of Birkenstock\'s, but it\'s been awhile since I purchased a new pair. I was surprised to hear about the new soft footbed, so I had to try them. These are so comfortable. I don\'t have to break them in. I got them last week and I\'m looking forward to wearing them on my vacation next week.

After foot surgery, podiatrist recommended open toe, adjustable Birkenstocks for summer. Good solid arch support and toe grips. The "soft" foot bed totally makes this sandal way comfortable! Once again thanks Zappos, I placed order on Wednesday and they showed up the next day...nice moves!

My husband has been a Birkenstock fan for many years. We had planned a trip to San Francisco and he needed a new pair (he had had his old pair for more than 10 years). As promised, Zappos delivered the next day and everything was perfect. He wore them daily for more than a week with lots of walking and they did not need to be broken in. So comfortable! Thank you Zappos! It is good to know that on short notice, we can get it from you.

These are even more comfortable than the standard Birkenstock shoe. I have had plantar fasciitis in the past, so I do not walk around barefoot and these are basically my around the house shoes and take the place of slippers (that have no support). My only problem is with one foot that has a very slight bunion. These rub against it and have left a red mark. I normally wear a 39 in closed shoes, but I had to get a 38 in these since they are open.

I love the Soft Footbed Birkenstock shoes! I already have two pair of the Florida Soft Footbed style and purchased the Arizona as my house shoes (slippers). I find the regular cork foot bed too hard on my feet especially after having foot surgery. With the Soft Footbed there is no break in period. Between the excellent arch support and the Soft Footbed heaven!

Im a long time Birkie fan. The secret to comfort with these shoes is to wear them much looser than regular sandals. Adjust them how you think they should fit, then add one more hole before buckling. The foot bed is nice, it feels good on the foot. The leather strap across the toe is a little stiff, I usually get the ones with suede. I hope this particular type of leather will unstiffen a bit with wearing. Well made, Birkenstock\'s quality is still topnotch.

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I prefer the soft foot bed over the original Birkenstock foot bed because there is no break in period required and it gives more cushioned support. Have already purchased a second pair.

I have been a Birkenstock wearer for over 20 years and the new soft footbed is TO DIE FOR! I have tons of tile floor in my house so I have to wear shoes when I am home on the weekends or my feet ache. I put these on the minute I walk in the door and I dont take them off until I go to bed. They have significantly helped to decrease my plantar fasciitis. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE SHOES!

Well, after saying goodbye to my worn out and abused pair of Birkenstock shoes I've had for 9 years, and trying really hard to switch to another, more flattering, sandal, I've had to come crawling back to Birkenstock. Plus the extra cushioning on the foot bed enticed me to cough up more money than I had planned on to! But, my feet are happy. I repeat, my defective, maddeningly screwed-up old feet are happy. So, I will continue to go around in sandals that accentuate my chunky, short, stumpy legs and wide feet. Ah well!

As a repeat Birkenstock buyer, I was interested in the soft footbed. They are really comfortable, but the footbed is not as raised in the toe area as they are with traditional Arizona\'s. However, the soft footbed is very comfortable, and I would recommend these sandals.

No way, never again! I can not see how anyone considers these sandals outstanding footwear. In fact, they are the most uncomfortable apparel I have ever put on my body. These are not for long-term wear, only very casual short-term wear such as a walk around the block, casual gardening or a short trip to the park or mall. I made the mistake of wearing these to an all day outdoor festival. I have worn sandals in this way before without much of a problem, but by the end of the day I had water blisters on my feet and the straps were severely irritating the tops of my feet. There is this horrible high arch in the center mid section of the sandal that is just very uncomfortable. My guess is this part of the sandal would be better off made a different material which is more flexible than the surrounding soul.\r\n\r\nThe positive is that they look really nice and are okay for short term use, but at this price, one would certainly expect much more comfort from the sandal and much for usability. I will be keeping the sandals for short walks and short trips to the grocery store, but I really can not recommend them at this price.

The only shoe I can wear for hours standing. I have high arches and the footbed molds to my feet perfectly. The new softbed is even more comfortable. I've been wearing Birkenstocks for thirty years and always look forward to my next new pair (which isn't too often, as they wear like iron). The best value for the quality and comfort.

The shoes and service are wonderful. I've been wearing Birkenstock shoes for many years and have never had the selection that I have with Zappos. I have found over the years that I need to get a size smaller than most of my other shoes and a narrow width.

I love the new soft foot bed option. I do not think I will ever buy the original foot bed again. Please be aware however, my only issue with this shoe is the stiffness of the upper leather strap that is closest to the back of the shoe. It has taken a lot of work to get it soft enough to wear. This has not been a problem for me with my previous pairs of Arizona Birkenstock shoes. This really surprised me and now I have scabs on each foot where my skin was rubbed raw. I will definitely continue to buy this shoe, but will be more aware in the future.

Birkenstock's are fabulous & comfortable shoes. However, in Birkenstock language (Regular = wide and narrow = medium). I've been wearing wide while wondering why i haven't been able to tighten the straps enough for proper stability, but I found out the hard way. Be sure to thoroughly enjoy zappos and if you wear medium, order narrow.

Great Birkenstock shoes as always. I'm not sure the foot bed is that much softer though. Nice color, and super service from Zappos (as always).

Never thought I would truly like these. they were recommended by a friend who thought they might ease my hip pain. Not a style I would have normally picked, but I actually really like them. I'm on my feet all day and and wear them to work quite regularly. They've become my go to shoes when running out the door in a hurry with jeans, shorts whatever. Am actually looking at getting another pair. Haven't noticed any difference with the hips, but shoes are very comfortable.

My husband always wears Birks and it was time for a new pair so I ordered these. They fit exactly the same as other Birks but have a softer bedding. So far he really likes them and can notice the softness of the bed.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks since the early 1970s. Prior to that I wore Capezios. At this point in my life, I wear Birks exclusively. The relatively new "soft foot bed" is terrific. I have had 5 separate foot surgeries and wearing Birks has most certainly contributed to my recovery from those operations.

I was very impressed with the service I received when I placed an order with Zappos. The Birkenstock sandals arrived the next day and are a perfect fit! I don't purchase shoes very often but I will definitely shop with Zappos in the future. Thank you!

These are my first Birkenstock shoes ever and I love them so far! My daughters both wear Birkenstock shoes and love them too. I have a high arch and wear wool clogs with a cork foot bed all the time, and figured that the cork foot bed on these Birkenstock shoes would work well for me as a summer alternative. The soft foot bed has been key for me. I tried the other foot beds and they were just too firm. So far these have been perfect. One size note, I usually wear a 6/ 2 wide shoe, and these Birkenstock shoes fit perfect in a 5.5 regular. My only request is that Birkenstock would make their soft foot beds in more styles and colors. Thanks to Zappos for ultra-fabulous service, as always. Zappos is number 1 for service.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. They are very comfortable; the only issue for me is that my feet are quite narrow and of slightly different sizes. I think because of this, the left sandal fits perfectly but the right one tends to slip off occasionally, even on the tightest strap setting. Next time I would probably look at the Milano, which has a heel strap, especially if it had a soft foot bed.

I've worn Birkenstock Arizona's for years, but these are exceptional! I ordered the new Arizona's with Soft Footbeds and I love them! It's hard to beat the Birkenstock footbed for comfort and molding to the shape of your foot, but these Soft Footbeds mold and shape just as well as the traditional soles, and they're much, much more comfortable. If you shy away from Birkenstocks because they feel "hard" on your feet, try these. You won't be disappointed.
