I love the way they look - exactly like picture. I wear a size 6, but in Birks I wear a 36 (which they call a size 5), the buckle on the top towards my ankle hurts my bone when I walk. Hopefully I will get used to it! I love them!

I have really hard feet to fit. They're wide and I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and a plate and screws in the other. I absolutely love these shoes. The new "soft" footbed makes all the difference. I've tried the original Birki's but the footbed is a bit too hard for me. This "softer" footbed is just perfect. I love how they form to your foot as you break them in so they are just a perfect fit. My all time favorite Birkenstocks are still the shearling ones I get in the winter. I highly recommend these.

I recently bought the Arizona Birkenstock Black. I had a pair before and they hurt my feet. The wood caused blisters. Also bought a 2nd pair and they were soft but too tight because they do not come in different widths. These are perfect. They are soft also the arch feels good next to your skin. The width is good because they are for men as well as women. I have swollen feet and had a bout with plantar fascia, also have flat feet and these didn't take long to adjust to my feet. They look attractive on the feet. I did notice that the black dye came off on my feet. I do love these sandals I highly recommend them. Four stars because of the dye issue.

When I opened the box they were beautiful! Exactly as pictured! These are my first pair of real Birkenstocks. I definitely have to break them in but the material is of really thick, good quality so I'm pretty sure they're gonna end up being more comfortable than my Rainbows. Oh, and I'm not used to shoes with such a huge arch (arch support) but I'll get used to it.

Love the shoes. I got them in narrow but still need to punch holes in the bands to tighten them enough to stay on my feet. Can't say enough good things about Zappos! Unbelievable service, it's a pleasure to order from them. I shout their praises to everyone.

These Birkenstocks are very good for support; however, you may have to adjust to the support provided. The bed of the shoe is very soft. As a whole I do like the shoe.

My last pair of Arizonas lasted 15 years! My wife ordered the soft bed Arizona this time due to a foot issue that I have developed in my senior years. Needless to say, I look forward to wearing these for the next 15 years.

They are comfortable, but the first time I walked a lot in them I got blisters. Not what I expected after hearing so much about them. I think they're too big, even though I ordered a size smaller than my usual. They are a beautiful dark purple and seem to be good quality.

This is a great comfortable shoe, but... I ordered them in June 2012, so by August 2013 I have worn them maybe 7 months? And the cork in the soles is already cracked, and the rubber bottom of the sole is worn off at the back. Granted, I wear them almost daily, but still, after reading reviews of people who just got their second pair of Birks after having thrown away their first ten-year-old pair, I have expected a little more... My other complaint is that one of the straps suddenly gave me a blister in the middle of my arch - at the beginning of season 2 of my wearing these sandals.

It has been 19 years since I wore a pair of Birkenstochs. The new soft bed does make a difference as to making them more comfortable. I bought them for a trip where there would be a lot of walking and they did the trick. I did break them in before the trip and that made the difference.

I like these shoes - the gray is a good color for winter. But the arch support is just too high for me, even though I got the soft insole. The arch is actually painful after an hour on my feet. Sorry to send them back.

The molded foot bed takes some getting used to, and the upper doesn't quite lend itself to the kind of friction that makes slides stay on well. However, my posture is better in these shoes, and that leaves me feeling better at the end of the day.

These are my first pair of Birkenstock's. So far so good. I have a narrow foot and have buckled them on the tightest setting. The still slip occasionally, but overall I am pleased with them.

I've been wearing Birks for 20 years. A few different styles...so, obviously I love the product. This has been my 1st time with suede. Great color selection! I have to admit they don't give much air flow when hot/humid out. Only negative comment...first time also with soft footbed. Big difference...no breaking in period whatsoever.

I bought these sandals a couple of weeks ago, just to have something to wear for the summer. Although they are pricey, and it took 3 days for them to arrive, the shoes themselves were an excellent purchase. The suede is very stylish and the arch support is remarkable; if you're thinking of purchasing Birkenstocks through Zappos, then you've got my recommendation.

I love these shoes, but would not wear for walking distances! This is why I gave them four stars. They provide good arch support! The leather straps loosen with wear so I need to make more holes for the buckle. Zappos rocks!

Love these shoes - they are soft, footbed is comfortable, leather is soft on your feet. Love the adjustability on both straps - wish it were velcro though.

I've never owned a pair of Birks before. I saw the Arizona online and the style and how it had the big two straps across, I knew I just had to have it. I picked the easy classic color of hunter brown. I had a free over night shipping, very fast indeed. Tried the shoes on and it fit perfectly. The color was exactly the same as is shown on the website. I admit that I had to get used to walking around in this type of shoes and it needed a little breaking into. But at the end of the day, I felt that the shoe fitted perfectly with my feet. I hope that this sandal will last me forever because I know that this is going to be my sandal for life! I will definitely explore more of the Birkenstock's new style.

I was really looking forward to wearing my Birkenstock's. This would be my first pair. I am sad to say that the size was a tad small. I am generally a 37 in all European shoes. I keep my fingers crossed 38 will not be too big. I walk a lot so I need something comfy. Just standing in them makes my feet very happy.

My first pair of Birkies. I had to try the narrow width, and the soft footbed. I put them on, tightened up the straps, and wore them all day. No slopping or slapping, just amazingly comfortable. They still make my feet look like I am wearing snowshoes (I have unusually large feet), but really comfortable snowshoes. The next day I went back on Zappos and bought my second pair of Birkies, ones that have a dressier look.

Very comfortable but the soft leather straps do not stand up so you need to use your hands to get your feet in. You cannot just slip your feet in.

These are my first pair of Birkenstocks. I really like the natural feel of the sandal and look forward for when they are completely broken in.

Im a long time Birkie fan. The secret to comfort with these shoes is to wear them much looser than regular sandals. Adjust them how you think they should fit, then add one more hole before buckling. The foot bed is nice, it feels good on the foot. The leather strap across the toe is a little stiff, I usually get the ones with suede. I hope this particular type of leather will unstiffen a bit with wearing. Well made, Birkenstock\'s quality is still topnotch.
