This shoe is a great for wearing all day. I don't like to break-in the foot bed of Birkies, so when this soft bed came along I was like, Yay! I have a pair in black and ordered this pair in nubuck. I wear them everywhere. They are nice with summer Capri pants and jeans. I love these shoes. The first time I wore them it was like I'd had them for years.

These shoes are built for comfort. They are worth every dollar I spent. Birkenstocks never go out of style. I can wear them all day and my feet do not hurt.

When I find something I love, you just can't keep me away. This is my third pair. I just love this sandal. I live in a warm climate and wear them every single day. Even with heavy wear, a pair typically lasts me about four to five years before the sole wears down. So comfortable - there's just nothing that compares to it.

I love Birkenstock. I am able to wear very few brands because of some foot problems - these are wow, wow comfortable. I only gave the style 3 stars simply because I have a large foot and their sandals seem 'bulky' looking, but the comfort is more than worth it!

These are classic greats. I'm a size 5 1/2 - 6 and size 35 fits. The brown looks better than the beige in this small size. My plantar fascia loves the arch and heel cup support.

Most comfortable sandals ever! I got the suede and they are the softest of the styles. I have a pair of the other kind and they are nowhere near as comfortable. The regular width size is way to wide for me. I have the buckle on the last hole tightened all the way and they are still too wide. so unless you have really fat feet...get the narrow size.

I love my new Birkenstocks. This is my first pair and they have exceeded my expectations. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and these have helped tremendously. Zappos service was outstanding!

This is a very solid sandal with very good arch support. It is a bit hard when compare to similar SAS sandal, but I think this will last longer. A very good buy.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he hasn't taken them off!! The look and fit is great. He said they are the most comfortable shoes he had in a long time!

I didn't even know that the soft bed shoes existed, and bought them quite by accident. I love the way they feel, just like slippers. I will never go back to the hard soles. I am sold on these.

You put your feet in them and walk around. They don't fall off unless you walk like John Cleese in the Ministry of Funny Walks. The soft footbed is an improvement over the cement/cork hybrid footbed that regular Birkenstocks are made of.

Purchased these as a gift for my husband. We ordered the narrow width and they fit him better than any other pair of Birkenstocks he has owned. The soft footbed is noticably more comfortable to him as well.

This was a gift for my brother. It's his fourth pair over 20+ years - he loves them.

I love this shoe, and have several in different colors. The size is consistent and the shoe is very comfortable My only complaint is that the black dye rubs off on my feet every time I wear them. I've never had this problem with any other Birkenstock, and I've worn them for years (like 35 or 40 years -- I'm an old hippie).

I love this style of Birkenstocks. Order a new pair every couple of years. This year, I ordered the usual style/usual size in black. Fit is consistent with previous shoes in the same style. I gave this 4 stars overall only because the black rubs off on my feet. It washes right off, but is annoying. I will go back to my usual tan shades next time.

These sandals were recommended by my podiatrist to alleviate for discomfort. The sandals are great, and Zappos' service is the best!

I wear my Birkenstocks all day long when I work and the soft footbed really makes a difference. I love these shoes. I am on my second pair, the first ones lasted me about six years of daily use and they hold up very well. I am a size 8½ and I wear the Birkenstocks in a size 38 and they fit me perfectly. Zappos is awesome, I got my shoes much sooner than I expected, and I live in Hawaii. Zappos provides great costumer service.

This is by far the best sandal I've own bar none! Comfy, easy to slip on and off, and simple good appearance are the pros. I would take extra care not to tread on water infested surfaces or on rainy days since the material (sole) is perishable or bio-degradable.

Love them though they are a little too big, should have ordered one size smaller than my actual size. Brings back some great college memories!

I have always loved Birkenstock shoes. This particular style is great because you can wear them with or without socks. That makes them ideal for more than just one season! They are comfortable and stylish, too. Also, I love Zappos!

I took the time to check out what I needed for a great fit. My family has a history of wearing this brand and I have had a good feeling I would enjoy them myself. When I recieved them I tried them on and they fit very well so all that was needed was break them in and I did. I have not been sorry, They are most confortable after only a couple times of use. Ordering them was a breeze. Zappos kept me informed of their shipping progress and then they were waiting for me on my doorstep. It was a low pressure purchase, just the way I like it.

Zappos is my shoe source for life! After reading info. on Bikenstock's website relative to sizing I ordered 43's to replace my old 42's as my regular shoe size has increased since I bought my old Birks years ago. After wearing the new Birks for about a month I realized they were too big. I felt a bit silly asking Zappos if I could exchange the, now used, 43's. The rep. said they didn't normally accept used shoes for return but understood my mistake. They sent out a replacement pair of 42's that day with a prepaid return label for the 43's! Now that's customer service. This company rocks and should be a lesson for all retailers. Happy in my correct size Birks. Eric
