Love the sandals but I can't keep them on my feet. I bought this item because I have neuropathy and can't feel my feet & calves. I can't tighten them enough to walk without stepping out of them. I didn't want to add more holes because I would still walk out of them.

I LOVE these shoes. I can't believe it took me so long to get them. The soft footbed is amazing, and a must. I have the clog types, without soft footbed, and it's not as comfortable. Also, I have flat feet, so for anyone else with flat feet, these shoes are great.

I love this pair of shoes! I wear them anytime that I can. I currently have a problem with bunions on both feet. I hesitated to purchase these Birkenstocks/Sandals because of the straps that cross the shoe (possibly rubbing against my bunions). To my surprise, this is not an issue. They are so comfortable and great . I have purchased two pairs of Birkenstocks (Arizona Soft Footbed).

The sandal is the best quality. However, my right ankle was swollen at end of the day. Instead I ordered two pair of Teva brand which support the ankle!

I can walk forever in these shoes. They are are almost like walking bare foot only with a protective cushion and arch support. At the recommendation of other reviews I got the softer footbed and narrow size - even though my foot is not narrow. I also recommend both. In fact, after wearing the shoes a few days, I had to add holes so I could fasten the straps tighter.

I got these sandals for the summer, and I'm obsessed with them! They did take a couple wears to get completely broken in. I went down a size in these too, and I'm so glad I did. They definitely run a little bigger.

Good stuff. I've been in Birks since the 70s. But the soft footbed is the best innovation. Truly a guy sandal that will put the arch back from wearing those flip-flops.

My feet are so happy in these. I went a Birk store and tried on many styles and footbeds and the soft footbed is the only one for me. I LOVE it. The arch support is perfect and these don't have the huge toe bump which hits me in the wrong place. I tried the styles with the hard leather and it rubs the top of my foot and hurts. These will need another hole as I am at the last one and I'm sure the suede will stretch, but that is okay. My husband called them pilgrim shoes - I got black - but I think they look pretty good with my dark blue toenail polish. I don't care. I have a bunion on my left foot and these are the only shoes I can walk normally in until I have surgery.

These are my favorite shoes of all time! I'm usually a 7 but I went a size smaller.(37) I also bought the normal width because I don't have much of an arch in my foot. When I first tried them on I was worried they were too small but after breaking them in they fit perfectly. They're super comfy and my go to shoes for summer! Buy these sandals. :)

I was skeptical on Birkenstocks but these are totally coming back in and the price was so worth it! I have really sensitive feet and everything hurts my arch and the outside of my foot and I blister easily but I have had no issue with these at all. I normally wear a size 9 and my feet are average to slightly wider than average and I sized down to an 8-8.5 and got the narrow size and they are perfect! The soft food bed is amazing. Can't imagine wearing flip flops ever again.

This is my second pair of Arizonas. I wore the first pair for years until they finally wore out. The soft footbed is a nice addition. Very comfy. I love them. I wear a size 8 and the 38 is perfect for me.

Bought Birkenstock Arizona softfoot sandals for my daughter's birthday at her request. After doing some research regarding sizing I ordered size 37 narrow. My daughter wears normally between a size 6.5-7, probably about 50-50 depending on the style. 37, according to birkenstock size charts is for size 6-6.5. She also never wears narrow- is a true standard medium typically, however after researching- narrow was recommended for this style as running wide. It is absolutely true, for the 37 narrow, fit perfectly.She did have to loosen the buckle straps a notch, but I figure as the shoe stretches to conform to her foot that will allow her to tighten it again. The soft footbed makes the sandal comfortable to wear right out of the box.I wanted to spray the suede with a protective coating like used with uggs- but alas, they were immediately taken out of the box and worn, thus no protective spray. It's been about a month and they still look great.We got the jasper color. Very neutral.

Super comfortable! These required no break-in time. The footbed is amazingly soft & cradles your foot. They look great & feel even better!

I have tried to wear Birkenstock sandals before as everyone said they were so comfortable. Not for me! Way too hard and the arches were too high. The soft footbed has changed almost everything about these shoes. They are so comfy and soft, I wear them all the time. I hope Birkenstock makes the soft footbed in their other styles but I doubt the thong type sandals will feel as great as these do. Get the narrow width if you usually wear a normal width shoe and they do run a little big.

This is my first pair of Birky's. Took a little to get used to but once the break in period was done they are super comfortable.

I was literally so happy that the Birkenstock trend popped back up just in time for a summer pregnancy. I wore Birkenstocks all the time as a teenager and loved how great they were for my feet. Now, at 6 months pregnant, these are perfect, especially with the soft footbed. I originally tried the Gizeh style because they are a 'sexier' Birkenstock...but the soft footbed on these sealed the deal. I intend on wearing these everywhere possible for the rest of the summer/next three months. I couldn't be happier with the comfort level on these. Also, I ordered the Velvet Grey Suede. The color is really lovely -- not as severe as black. It does have a slightly blue tone to it, but they are a great dark neutral hue.

Love these. I was afraid they would be too grey but these are really a soft black. Nice and comfy, so glad I bought them! Oh, and I bought them in narrow width which fit perfectly and I have pretty wide feet for a girl.

Love, love, love these sandals! I have had so many problems with my feet in the past couple years that I couldn't wear any sandals at all. These have solved my problems. I've been wearing them for about a month and have no foot pain!

Love these Birks!!! I had a similar pair many years ago but they were the "regular" width and always felt just a little too loose... These are perfect. I have an average width foot and generally like my shoes to fit to my feet so that I'm not working so hard to keep track of them while walking. I hate the feeling of having my shoes slip around! If you feel the same, give them a try!

I wanted to write a review because when I was looking to order these I was a little confused. I am always a (women's) size 5. In European sizes that's normally a 35 which is what I ordered in these. My confusion was that they say that's a women's size 4 to 4 1/2 which I never am. However, with a lot of the reviews I saw saying these ran so huge I went ahead and ordered the 35's. I was really hoping these wouldn't be too big as there was no smaller size to go to and I didn't want to order children's ones because they're never as comfortable (& the soft footbed wasn't an option in the kids). I am happy to say these fit very well so going off the 35 size I'd say they are true to my size. However, if you are looking at the size 4 to 4 1/2 part, well these fit me just right and I'm normally a size 5 so I'd say they run a little big. So, women, I'd recommend ordering your normal European size (size 5 is a 35 size 6 is a 36 & so on). I did take the recommendation of a lot of reviewers and ordered the narrow and it's not too narrow at all. I was a little concerned about this as I have regular width feet and unfortunately a bunion on my right foot which makes it seem even wider. But since everyone talked about how wide this shoe is and since it's a unisex shoe and since I wanted to get the smallest option hoping these wouldn't be too big I went ahead and ordered the 35 narrow and it's wonderful. The soft footbed is worth the extra money for sure and the suede upper made it to where there was no breaking in necessary, they are heavenly right out of the box. I got the mocha color and like that not much dirt will show therefore they will look nice for a long time and go with a lot! I love Zappos and was trying to order these from them as I usually do; however, they were out of the 35 N when I was ready to order so I ordered directly from the Birkenstock website. Wasn't as fast as Zappos (ordered on a Friday night and received them Thursday afternoon) but at least the shipping was free too! And they were the same price. I will order again from Zappos in the future of course (my top pick) if my size is available (I already assume I'll order more Birkenstocks as they are so comfy); however, if your size isn't available the Birkenstock website is a good option to have. I didn't trust ordering them from amazon because I was worried they may not always have the real deal (like fake Birkenstocks). Anyways these are expensive but extremely comfortable and for my small, problem feet they are worth it I'd say!

This review is about sizes which seems to be a huge problem for many. I'm usually a 6-6.5 and 35 is perfect for me. My feet are a bit wide (due to bunions - womp) but not so wide that I've had to purchase wide width shoes -- thank goodness because I don't think any regular brands that I purchase from have anything besides a normal width! Anyway, they feel comfy and are stiff, but will probably be amazing after breaking in.

I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur on the bottom of my foot. I wear a size 9m in most brands. After reading reviews and suggestions, I ordered a size 39m. These fit really perfect, especially after adjusting the straps. I really love these and glad I bought them to the suggestion of two of my doctor friends. These do form to my feet with no "flip" or "flop" so my toes won't be struggling to to keep my shoes on my feet. Love these!

Comfortable, fast shipping, and availability. Zappos was the only site I could find these shoes (including Birkenstock's website). Shipping is fast with no hassles and the shoe is comfortable! I wore them most days while on vacation in Europe with no discomfort. I didn't even really attempt to break them in before. I usually wear a size 7 (would lean more towards a 6.5 instead of 7.5, if necessary) so the size 37 was the best fit. Many charts will tell you to go with size 38 if you wear a 7 -- I tried this and the shoes were way to big and bulky. Also, unless you have a very wide foot, and would have to typically seek out wide sizes, go with the narrow.

Love them! So comfy! I have wider feet, so I need to buy the unisex option from Birkenstock so that my toes don't hit the rounded edges. I do think they take a little bit of time to wear in (a few blisters at first) but they are great!
