Love Birkenstocks! A total staple in my closet. Not really made for wearing anywhere with a lot of walking. I do get a lot of compliements when I wear them, and since I have a tween age daughter I get major mom points!

I wear a 7 l/2 to an 8 and this is an unisex size, it seemed too big for me. It was a beautiful color, but even putting the straps on the tightest they would go they were still too loose. I hated to return them, but they really didn't fit.

They are as dreamily comfortable as everyone says. I have nothing to add in that dept. Wanted to share sizing. I wear a 7.5 and the 39 narrow in this sandal fits me PERFECT. For comparison, I'm a 38 in Danskos.

The soft footbed is a serious upgrade to the classic two strap Birkenstock I have worn for years. The sole provides support, but is softer than the previous ones I have owned.

Love these! I ordered the taupe and they look a bit darker in person than in the photo. I usually wear a size 7 shoe and I ordered the 38 narrow and they fit perfectly. My feet are average to fairly narrow. They are super comfortable.

This soft sole is a game changer!!!! Love them!!!! If you have a medium width foot the narrow works great

Very comfortable. I have bad feet. They took a while to break in, but have been wonderful ever since.

The narrow width is much better for me. I am not a narrow by any means but in the regular the 39 was too small and the 40 was too large. In the narrow the 40 was fine.

Been a Birk wearing gal since high school(I'm 39 now)! Still a great show and even better than they on trend now. Can't go wrong with this Shoe. Best upgrade is soft bed. Not sure I could go back to the regular bed.

FYI: My foot runs wide. In these sandals, I prefer the narrow width over the regular width. The pair that I have that is the regular width, I have had to add more holes in the leather to cinch them in. Birks are just about the only shoe I wear. My hips, back and feet all feel better when I wear them.

i went with the black suede and they go nicely with everything. The first day breaking them in was rough but I can't complain about their comfort since.

Love these! I own several pairs of Birkenstocks, but these are my first pair with the Soft Foodbed. Definitely won't be my last.

The arch in these is high, as I expected. I have a pretty flat foot, so it is a little high for me, but not so much that it's uncomfortable.

I love these birkentsocks! The soft foot bed makes them even better. I can walk around in them all day, super easy to slip on and super comfy.

They look great and my son loves them however I ordered them a size too big so I need to send them back.

Just came in, I can tell I'm going to love them already. I got the soft bed Arizona in taupe. I love the bronzey buckles. I can usually get away with wearing a 6.5, thankfully I ordered a 7-7.5 and they are perfect. I do have to buckle them all the way since they are Regular; reason I didn't get a Narrow is because I have bunions on my pinky toes. If you don't have wide feet and don't have bunions then a narrow is probably fine for you. Aaand of course one-day shipping from Zappos is the bomb dot com.

Love Birkenstocks! These are my first soft footbed sandals and they are great (I currently have 2 arizonas, 3 gizehs, and 1 mayari in regular footbed). We'll see how they wear in comparison to the regular footbed. This is also my first pair of suede-I'll see how much they stretch as the leather typically doesn't stretch much. I have even had the entire footbed on a pair of my leather gizehs replaced and they were as good as new! I usually wear a 8-9 in other brands but wear a 38 in Birkenstock. I can wear both the narrow and regular but prefer the extra width of the regular. I have tried size 39 but the arches do not hit my foot in the correct spot. I also walk a lot and never have foot pain when wearing my birkenstocks! Yes, they cost more, yes they are flat right out of the box, yes they must be broken in and maybe they are not as stylish as other sandals but buy them and give them a chance to break in properly, you won't regret it!

I have several birkenstock brand sandals and shoes and this style is my absolute favorite. The soft footbed combined with the suede leather of this sandal is very comfortable and I needed no break in period. The width I bought is a narrow and it fits perfectly if you have a narrow to regular foot width. If you find that this particular style needs a break in period I suggest you wear them with socks and loosen the straps until it becomes comfortable and the leather softens. After a few days you can wear them without socks and adjust the straps again as needed. I did not need any break in period with this type of leather.

LOVE THESE! So comfortable once you get the straps tight enough. I've worn them everyday since I've gotten them. The soft sole is SO WORTH IT. Wear an 8 and got an 8 - perfect fit!

Soooo comfy right out of the box. The suede is super soft. Perfect summer sandals!

I have been wearing Birkenstock for over 20 years and love love love them. These are so soft and comfortable!!! I can't wait till the weather changes!!

I've worn Birkenstocks for over 10 years for the arch support. I have a long but very narrow foot, Woman's 13.5 AAAA width. Now that Birkenstock is coming narrow with the longer lengths, the arch support fits even better which I need for my flat feet. I don't know how many women out there are like me (I mostly find women with long but wide feet) but I think it's because men's feet are becoming narrower. Perhaps I should thank the men for finally catching up with me.

Love these! I bought the velvet grey suede. Great, soft color - kind of charcoal. Even though I have wide feet, I chose the narrow because it looks better and is less clunky ;-) the width is fine barefoot, but might not work with socks - which is fine. I got my usual size 38 & they are just big enough. I normally wear 8-8.5. I almost sent them back thinking they were too small, but after a few strap adjustments, my foot was centered better and they fine. So far I just wear them in the gym to and from the yoga studio, but this summer I'm sure that they will be my faves.
