I love these! Got the narrow and paid extra for the extra cushioning. I have high arches and these stood the test. I walked all over London in these shoes and they were amazing. Love!!

My only regret is not purchasing sooner!

Being a long time Zappos customer, I was a bit surprised when my Birks arrived in a clearly used box, complete with a taped up rip in the worn box. After checking the Birks out for any signs of being used (which I found none) I put them on and having being wearing them ever since. Great fit, no break in period required. Having worn Birks for a couple of decades, this was my first pair with the soft footbed and there is a big difference. Zappos can't be beat for fast shipping and customer service.

so comfy! these birks are the most comfy as well as cute! They required very little break in time, and are well my favorite go to slip on sandals these days. f

I love these shoes! I've actually had them for about 2 years now and they're still going strong. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting which is amazing. I highly recommend!

Well worth the wait!! Take the advice of many and order half to a full size down. I recommend measuring your foot according to Birkenstock's website. Also, unless your feet are REALLY wide, a M width should fit perfectly.

Bought theses for my 14 year old daughter. She loves them! The light tan color looks very nice with many things. They are very comfortable and supportive of her feet. We'll give them the test on a 3 week vacation to Europe in August. She normally wears an 8-8.5 and the size 38 regular width fit perfectly.

So I've never owned birkenstocks because I always thought they looked stupid... but I've heard so many rave reviews & they are back in style so I decided to give them a try. I'm now sad that it took me 35 years to give them a try! They are super comfy & I heard they only get better with wear & I actually really like the look. I told my husband these might be the only sandals I wear from now on. I read lots of reviews and they said to size down & I'm normally a 7 1/2 tennis shoes & 8 in sandals so I tried the 37's and they fit perfect for me. My toes are almost at the end & my heel is right to the back but for me they are perfect because if I got them bigger then my foot would probability slide. I also got the narrow & had to tighten the straps a little. I am very happy with my purchase & as always Zappos was amazing with their free next day shipping! I'm a zapponian for life!!

i purchased 2, one for the bf, one for myself, in diff colors. we wear them around everyday and don't wear anything else really. fabulous customer service, fabulous quality.

Even though these are sold as Narrow/Medium the sandal is way wider than my other Birkenstocks--shoes were an inch to wide across the forefoot. Too bad, the softer insoles seem very comfy.

The sandal was not what I had originally ordered. The sizing was hard to know at first and I ended up ordering one small too large with regular width. After getting that first pair, i noticed the size chart on the inside lid of the box. I used that and a great phone call with Zappos to pick out a replacement pair of shoes after I found out they didn't have the same style in my new size. I ended up getting a more expensive shoe and they covered the cost! I love them more than the first! They earned my future business doing good business! The shoe itself took a little getting used to, but honestly the most supportive shoes I've ever had!

Thank you to all the reviewers who pointed me in the right direction on this classic shoe. I am a 40 in every other shoe but this; a medium in every other shoe but this. As so many people said, women need to go down both a size and a width. The 39 narrow fits this usual 40 medium like a glove. As soon as I have another pot of money for shoes, I'm getting another pair.

I love these shoes they are so comfortable. I have been wearing them almost everyday since I got them, they go well with almost every outfit!

These are my all time favorite sandals!! I had read numerous reviews and knew I had to get them. They are so comfy and are the cutest casual sandals that I have owned. I love them!!

Great, shoe....but not as comfortable as I remember my last pair was 25 years ago....but I still get a lot of use out of them.

I swore I would never wear Birkenstock's when I was younger. Well, now that I am over 50 and have plantar fasciitis I am sold. It helps that they have come back into style as well. I bought a pair of the softbed suede which had been refurbished at a retail store and loved them. I wanted another pair in a different color so I turned to Zappo's. I bought the taupe suede in a size 40 narrow. THey fit perfectly. When I first tried them on the suede straps seemed a little stiff and I was worried they would rub the top of my foot. I wore them on short excursions at first and never had a problem. Now I could wear them all day. I love them! I just wish they made shoes I could wear to work!

I love these shoes really comfortable the suede gives more than the leather. I have both you have to break in the leather but not these. I wear 11 and got the 42 the fit perfectly.

These are really nice. The velvet grey suede is beautiful and versatile. Soft footbed is the only way to go. They are so comfortable and are the only Birks I buy now. I'm just the tiniest bit iffy about keeping them, though, because even on the tightest hole in the buckle, the straps are slightly loose. My foot is average to slightly wide (not at all narrow), so I'm surprised by this, and I know that they will stretch; if I keep them, I will quickly need to pull out my awl and make another hole. I wear 7.5-8.5 US, 38 Alegria, 39 Dansko, 39 Finn Comfort, and *always* a solid 38 regular in Birkenstocks. These really are lovely, comfy shoes. Been wearing Birkenstocks for 35 years. They feel like home.

Love Birkenstocks! Finally had to break down and buy a new pair after wearing mine for 18 years. These are a true classic. I wear size 8 and the 38 regular fits perfect.

I bought these for my 63 year old mother. She has never had a pair of Birckenstocks and now she doesn't wear anything else. She is amazed by the comfort of these sandals! Her shoe size is 5 1/2 but these seem to run big. I had to return and order size 4 1/2 for her and she said they fit perfect. Excellent customer service from Zappos as always.

Love these shoes! I bought the velvet gray suede, which is a gorgeous soft gray and really will go with everything. They are also insanely comfortable. I wore them all day the first day I got them and really don't feel like they needed to be broken in at all. The soft footbed makes a huge difference. I am a true size 8 and the 39s fit me perfectly.

I'm soooo in love with my new Arizona Brikenstock!!! I was so scared they didn't fit me but they are so comfortable!! My feet fit perfect!! I have a normal not too skinny feet and I'm always 8.5 so I ordered a 39 and fits wonderful! I also ordered the fit narrow because I know leather looses up a little bit with the use. I recommend them 100% even tho I thought they were a little bit expensive totally know I will use them all the time!!!
