This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I am loving them. I ordered one size down based on the other reviews and they were too small. I returned them for my actual size in narrow and they fit perfectly. Already ordered another pair in a different color.

Getting the narrows like the other reviews suggested was the right thing to do. Wouldn’t normally order a narrow.

I've been wearing Berks for 25+ years. For the last several years I've bought "narrow" but this time I bought the regular width - because I'll be wearing them with socks in the winter. Bought the soft-sole for the first time I LOVE THEM. I have had nerve pain and 4 surgeries on my feet ... the absolute best shoes for painful feet. About ZAPPOS Been shopping here for years, great service. Ordered on Friday, received on Monday! Doesn't get any better than that.

Love these shoes! The suede is so soft. No breaking in period for me. My teen daughters ask to wear them constantly.

Standard Birkenstock sizing!! LOVE!!

Took a while to befriend these shoes, but if you give them increased wearing a bit each day (like orthotics), they are magic. Completely happy, and the regular size accommodates an extra wide forefoot.

It has taken me a long time to become friends with my new Birkenstocks (I wore them in the 70s). Since then my foot has changed to a WW in the front and I am happy to say that these are wide enough! They are wonderfully soft and comfortable and newly fashionable. I am sure they will last for years.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock scandal. The most comfortable sandals ever. Because the scandal is unisex, it took several tries before finding the right fit. I got the taupe color in 38 narrow. For reference, I wear 7.5 wide in women’s.

I have very high arches so it's hard to find footwear that works well for me. I already have a pair of birkenstock mules, so I was pretty sure these sandals would be good too. They are quite comfortable, I really like the leather footbed, much better than just the cork in the mules. It has formed to fit my foot very nicely giving me good arch support. Styling leaves something to be desired, I think Birkenstock styling is at best an acquired taste.

If I could wear these every day for the rest of my life I would. I have the regular hard footbed birks and those don’t hold a candle to these. So perfect!

I have high arches and a narrow foot. I take a size 13B, so had to order a unisex men's 44 narrow. These fit me perfectly (a real thrill!). I love the soft footbed. It's not exactly cushy, just enough softer than the regular footbed to be more comfortable while still very supportive.

First let me say I love these shoes!! I have never worn a narrow shoe but after I ordered the regular width size even with them as tight as I could get them they were too big. I returned them and ordered the narrow and kept my fingers crossed they wouldn't be too narrow. They fit perfect!! I love the gray color the style and comfort!

I absolutely love these suede Arizonas! Very soft and comfortable and the inky black suede is gorgeous. The narrow width is perfect. I had initially ordered a leather pair, but it was much stiffer so I exchanged for these. So pleased with them - wore them right out of the box and haven't taken them off since I got them 3 weeks ago.

A little pricey but totally worth it!

Unlike many here these are taking some time to break in. Super comfy but the first time I wore them I got blisters on my arches. I let them heal and now I wear for short periods of time every day (I’ve had them about a week) and I can tell it’s getting much better. No blisters now..just a little irritation. I don’t have flat feet I think mine are moderate arches. I’m hoping as I wear them and they mold to my feel better this issue will be resolved. I still gave them a high comfort rating because the footbed is quite cushy. Just be prepared to break in if your feet are like mine.

The suede is so much softer then the oiled leather, which was hitting my bunion all wrong. Beautiful grey color. Much more comfortable out the box, will likely get even better as the footbed breaks in. Returning the Mayari and Florida.

I’m a solid size 7.5 in US women’s and had to get a size 37, which is labeled as a size 6-6.5 on the size chart. My advice would be to measure the length of your feet in millimeters and then go to the Birkenstock website to check out what their size chart looks like. I measure at 24cm or 240mm which clearly translates to a size 37 in Birkenstocks. Other than the confusing sizing, the Arizona soft footbed is super comfortable. Took me less than a week of breaking in by wearing them around the house.

Not as soft as expected, eventhough I ordered the soft footbed. Straps too loose, one more hole would be ideal. Love, love, love the look: effortless cool.

I ordered these for my dad who wears a size 11 wide in New Balance sneakers. The regular width was definitely wide enough! But the fit overall was too long, and his feet were slipping forward so I had to send back.

I ordered the narrow based on reviews but they were too narrow for my feet. I am not going to order the regular because I felt that the soles were too hard for my feet.

Super comfy and stylish Berks! I have a Soft Footbed Arizona (in grey suede) that I bought 3 years ago that I love but I always felt they were a little too big for me and a little too wide. Now I know why! I realize my perfect Birkenstock size is a 4.5 narrow - which is exactly what these ones are. (They’re still a bit roomy so my feet aren’t cramped in the least.) I’m so glad Zappos carries the narrower width and the 4.5 as most places only have the regular width and the smallest size they carry is a 5. I just tightened my grey suede ones so they fit a little more snug on my feet and still love them but these beautiful taupe suede Berks are perfect right out of the box. Love love love! :)

I bought my first pair of Birkenstocks in 1982 and here, 36 years later, I'm stilled wearing the brand. They are comfortable as can be and offer excellent arch support and help my back. My wife makes fun of me for wearing them, but I don't care - I'll go to my grave wearing Birkenstock Arizonas!

This is my first pair of birkenstocks. Gett8ng used to them. Got the soft footbed and that seems comfortable. The top suede rubs a bit but is adjusting to my feet. Think I will really love these

Love these in taupe. I'm a true women's size 7 with a wide foot and, like all Birkenstocks I've owned, the 36 fits me perfectly. I've had a little issue with these rubbing my arch and giving me a blister which I'm hoping will go away with wear...fingers crossed because I really like these sandals.

So this is my 5th pair of Birks and I am unsure what happened with this pair. The left foot arch support was more forward than the right. This makes a big difference in fit and comfort. Be sure to try on BOTH sandals when they arrive to be sure this is not the case with yours. Sadly returned but Birks are still the best sandals out there. Even the best company has an OOOPPS from time to time
