I bought this male version as the female versions available did not come in wide width. I felt a little wider so had to pull the buckle strap all the way in. While it had the soft food bed, I was dealing with a sprained ankle and so the first month of wear was uncomfortable until they were broken in. I held off my review until the shoe was fully tested. Now! it is my go to shoe. Very comfortable and stable for my problem ankle. Not the cutest shoe, but definitely worth the investment.

The new narrow size makes Birkenstocks work for me. I can now wear these comfortable sandals!

Gray sided was darker than it looked in the picture. It is definitely unisex. Seems like the “cute” colors are only available in the narrow width. I have a wide foot and need the wider shoe, so am stuck with “manly”colors.

Love this style. Although I graded it as moderate arch support for myself, it has much better support than other “summer wear shoes”. Truly enjoyed them that I needed to get them in black!

No need to break in... wore them straight out of the box with no issues. Love these!!!

Normally a size 7.5 US, ordered size 37 and they fit PERFECTLY. No break-in period, super soft suede and comfy footbed. Taupe color is also really nice, goes with everything, slightly more feminine and cute. I wear these every day now.

Love them! Always go with the soft footbed, it is so comfortable.

Awesome, extremely comfortable

I was skeptical about Birkenstocks. I wanted to try them in person in the store before ordering, and perhaps I should have, but these sandals are amazing. The suede is super soft, so soft that the straps are very flexible and it makes it hard to slide your foot in underneath the fallen straps. They do not stand up on their own like in the picture. I have never had a pair of shoes or sandals that have such high arch support and it took me a good long while to get used to it and break in the shoes. They are becoming much more comfortable over time. I'm looking forward to owning and wearing these for years to come.

I was able to wear these right after I got them. Very supportive and comfortable.

Bought these at a size 43 which to me is a true medium. I usually wear a size 10.5 in other shoes so a size 43 in Birkenstocks were perfect. I wore these non-stop as soon as I got them and they were immediately comfortable. After about 8-10 months they will start to show some signs of wear and tear. The arch support and sole of the show becomes worn out. However, they are definitely worth the money for that first year at the rate I was wearing them. Still have them and just tightened them up a little bit and they still look good. Have had these for awhile and will be getting a new pair once spring comes around! Always through Zappos because they always deliver exactly what you order and with great speed and quality.

All real suede and soft footbed!!

Love, love, love these. Took a bit of adjusting the straps to get the width right. But once broken in they’re super comfy. Look great and the dark gray is so nice. Many compliments while wearing them. Happy I purchased them.

Can never go wrong with Birkenstocks! I have very narrow feet and I love that I order these in the narrow width! Very comfortable and durable!

Birkenstocks are all I ever wear. These are even better than my previous pairs because the straps are suede. They are so comfortable and soft to the tough of your skin. I can’t stop wearing them. If you don’t know these are also “soft footbed” edition which means they are even comfier than other regular ones.

Loved the look and feel of show. Super cute. The narrow is pretty narrow. I had to return for the regular width. I don’t usually wear a narrow but I thought being unisex the narrow would be a good fit based off other reviews. I can’t wait to get my correct size.

Well it took me several tries before I finally got it right. I have a wide foot so I ordered the regular and every size was wrong, I tried 3 sizes. I really wanted a pair of Birkenstock's but they looked ridiculous so I thought maybe I'll try the narrow and they were perfect!!!! Many thanks to Zappos for their easy purchase/return policy...

Love the sandals but the narrow was way too wide so I returned them.

Zappos is amazing with fast shipping and wonderful service! I have to thank them for allowing me to order and return so many shoes! I love these shoes but need to figure out which size and width works best for me. I love the soft footbed and will always order this footbed from now on. I have worn birkenstocks for years and these are wonderful, I worry about the narrow being too narrow for my one foot that has started having bunion pain. I will reorder in regular width.

Love my Birks. I practically lived in them all spring and summer. Hard to find supportive and comfortable footwear for a women who is a size 13. The footbed got dirty quickly which kind of bothered me but I didn’t try cleaning them. I think I’ll try a pair that are not suede and see how they do next.
