Returned, even though I ordered narrow width these were still far too wide for my feet.

For years I have been wearing Birkenstocks. What changed is the choice of colors for the "wider" width. The great disappontment is the material of the buckles that changed from metal to plastic. Wonder how these buckles will uphold, The color of the buckles does not quite match the color of the straps.

Unable to wear them, too small.

Birkenstocks are in the venerable shoe category for me. I’m never without a pair. The fit, material and quality have remained consistent throughout the years. I’ve never had a black pair of Arizonas but they work with a lot of outfits and the suede makes them a bit more casual so they can work really well with jeans and cords.

I loved the shoe, I always where Birkenstock’s, so comfortable, but unfortunately I had to return this pair, there was some type of glue or flaw in the suede, which is unusual for Birkenstock’s. I’ll try again, because it is a quality brand, and always my favorite!

I ordered my usual size shoe but they were to large. Zappos outstanding service allowed me to return them at ups, got credit and then I ordered my replacement shoe and I love them. But the service from Zappos keeps me shopping here

Bought these for my mother, who keeps picking up knock-off Birkenstocks and then complaining about how they don't fit or don't last. She loved these right out of the box! Her only issue was that the heel cups felt a little more snug than she would have liked, but as she wore them over the next few days, the cork softened enough for her to be comfortable. She also praised the arch support, and in fact, said that she hadn't realized that her other shoes had been lacking enough arch support until wearing these. She loves the suede uppers, which were soft and comfortable, and did not require any breaking-in period, as is often found with smooth leather uppers. I think this was money well spent!

Perhaps I forgot because it's been years since I bought a pair of Arizona birks, but the arch support felt so high, and more importantly, very hard which is why I am returning. The shoes are beautiful and well constructed in any other way but someone like me who doesn't need much arch support should definitely consider this when purchasing

I wear a 9 1/2 normally - 40. The smaller shoe that would fit left my toes touching the rim. I ordered the next size up -41- they were perfect!

These Birkenstocks are perfect! The unisex narrow was just right and I loved the soft footbed. I immediately ordered another pair.

I’m normally a 9.5 in shoes, which would translate to 40. In this style the 39 fits me. What can I say? The style has been around forever. I like this traditional model, in suede and the soft footbed, because I have sensitive feet.

I never wanted to own Birkenstocks because I thought they were (shhhh…ugly) but now I’m older and don’t give a crap. And my feet are screaming at me for not getting them sooner. These are instantly comfortable with the soft footbed and totally adorable because I can stand all day long on hard surfaces chasing children and teaching and my legs aren’t dead. (And I’m no spring chicken)

I've worn Birkenstocks for years and have this style in a couple different colors. Size 39 N. The suede strap on this shoe is very loose and it was too loose even on the last hole in the strap! Bummed out because I love the color but had to return.

The shoes fit great and I love the soft suede upper. It does take some time to wear Birkenstocks until they become worn in and comfortable. I’m working on that now.

Got a size too small but LOVE these shoes and the color. Super cute and soft.

I was glad to have had the ability to return the shoes had they not fit well. I have been unable to find 35's and was so glad to have found them on Zappos! Finally, Berkies that fit and my feet love them!

Birks are awesome & simple. Love them!

Extremely disappointed with this purchase. Have always loved Zappos. The sandals came in their box which was in a bag, not the normal Zappos box. The shoe box was all beaten up. The sandals looked like a return that was thrown back in a box, the straps were undone, the sandals looked worn. I was not about to put my feet in them. So upsetting as I was really looking forward to trying Birks

I love my Birkenstocks on these warm summer days. Easy in, easy out for easy living. My only critique would be that I need one more hole in the strap for the fit to be a bit snugger.

These aren't the Birkenstocks I remember from the '70s. These seemed poorly made and didn't fit right. I was disappointed. Definitely NOT worth $140!!!!!!

These sandals are tried and true, fit well and are great. My only issue was that we used to receive our Zappos orders in a box with the shoes pristinely placed and this order arrived via Amazon in an envelope with a mutilated Birkenstock box with packing tape all over it. It felt so bargain basement-y vs the elevated feeling we used to get when receiving our packages from Zappos. Same product but packaging just made it feel like a discount item :/

Typical Birkenstock fit and comfort. Only thing I didn't like is that the suede is floppy so it's difficult to simply slide your foot in.

There was only one shoe in the box.
