Not sure about this boot yet. Stylish and comfortable. The only "problem" is the ankle is wide and roomy. Great for tights and jeggings to tuck into the boot. Works fine with boot cut jeans. Doesn't work so well with skinny jeans. If you're not tucking your jeans into the boots, the jeans look a little odd over the boot at the ankle. I prefer a slimmer/tighter boot at the ankle.

These boots have been a life saver for me. I have a weak ankle-possible stress fracture. They fit just right. I usually wear size 9 but accidently got 8½ and they fit with room to wiggle my toes and support my arches. I wore Antia before but I will get more colors as soon as I can. I give five stars in all categories. I wish they came in 2" wedges.

Stylish and great comfort. You can wear these to work and walk all day in comfort. Looks great with tights and a skirt, as well as with pants.

At last! Comfortable yet stylish ankle boots. Love them! Got them in black smooth leather...tempted to by the saddle leather too. And they hold up in winter weather...good sole.

These boots are some of the cutest shoes I've ever owned. They are very true to size and very comfortable. I could wear them all day with walking. The color is also true and I think I could wear them with either brown or black.

Horrible experience with these shoes. They look fantastic and I thought I was buying a quality pair. The fit was ok and comfortable for the most part. Then within 2 weeks the paint and finish on the Espresso color had lifted off spontaneously revealing off white natural leather under. I was shocked when I caught a glimpse of myself head on shopping for shoes at Nordstrom this Saturday. I had seen the shoes looking increasingly scuffed over just 2 weeks, which was frustrating, but if it hadn't been for that day & being out shoe shopping at the mall I may not have noticed that the front of my left boot was almost white!! I am taking pictures of these shoes to post on my blog. I live in Seattle where it doesn't snow and it hasn't rained very heavily, I drive in my car with minimal walking (or if I am walking or at the gym I wear my Bensimons or sneakers) so there is no excuse for this happening. Zappos customer service was kind of a nightmare calling this wear & tear (in 2 weeks?) and asking me to contact the manufacturer but after a battle they apparently issued refund so ok (waiting for it to show on my credit card). I will never buy another pair of Sam Edelman shoes again, nor recommend this to anyone.

Great shoe that has held up well over time. Nice lower-heal option that still looks good at work or on the weekends. I would buy it again, but I haven't needed to yet! I usually wear a size 4 in pumps and flats, but the size 5 fits just fine with socks.

These are beautiful boots, classic yet still trendy. These look good with skinny jeans and a skirt. The best part is they are really comfortable, a rubber sole and low heel. Fit wise they are true to size. Would highly recommend them.

I love these booties! They are very stylish and comfortable. They look great with tights, and I can wear them all night at work on a concrete floor and still be comfortable at the end of the night.

These are great shoes and aren't as high as my usual heels, so it's easy to wear them all day. They are a bit tight, but they did stretch out. Still can't wear thick socks though. A fun addition to my closet.

Very comfortable boot. Just what I was looking for low heels, soles that are not slick, and looks very nice on foot.

I am a bootie newbie and I've really liked this purchase. This is a great bootie and very comfortable. I mostly wear it with skinny jeans and leggings but I've also worn it under dress pants and they look like regular boots. I can wear a size 4 in women's pumps and I can get by in size 5 for boots since I can wear socks. I ordered a size 5 in these and they fit nicely with a pair of ankle socks.

Fantastic. These are great looking and extremely comfortable. I previously bought these in burgundy and just bought the black. I can wear these all day with no problem. Highly recommend them.

I have two pairs of this in Saddle. I love them. I feel stylish (and think I look it?) when I wear these boots. Price point is great. I am going to get Black, and I plan on getting the Petty from Sam Edelman, too. I have serious problems with my feet (bunions, argh!) so I cannot wear these every day (because they don't sell this in wide). So I wear them every other day.

I purchased both the Sam Edelman boots in saddle and black. They are fashionable and comfortable. They are great with pants and the ankle circumstance works well for wearing tights with a skirt or dress. They are sold at a great price and feature great workmanship. If there were other colors I would have them too.

This is my 3rd pair of Sam Edelman boots. They really know how to design a boot with great style and comfort. I always go a half size up because I want to be able to enjoy all day comfort and socks are always a factor in wearing boots. Heel height is just perfect! Not too high but very flattering. Great with leggings or jeans. I'll be watching for their next great design!

These are beautiful boots. I was looking for nice brown ankle boots and have tried a few to no avail. They have to be comfortable and these definitely were from the very start. They took very little time to break in and they look fantastic with skinny jeans or leggings. This is my second pair of Sam Edelmans and it will not be the last!

Cute and comfortable. I wear these with black tights. Width is normal and I get a lot of compliments on these.

Initially not comfortable and thought I would return. Wore them out one day and they easily became more comfortable. I had bought two pair and these have become my favorites. Received many complements as well.

Sam Edelman's Maddox is my go-to boot! They are true-to-size, comfortable, stylish, and the 2-1/2" heel is a perfect height. The non-skid bottoms are great when there's any type of slippery walking surface, whether it's water, snow, ice, or just climbing steep steps. I have the Maddox in four colors and get compliments whenever I wear them which is quite often. Highly recommend these booties!

These are cute boots. The leather is quite nice. The heel is a bit lower than I expected. Everybody said in reviews that they fit true to size but I find they ran a bit small. Overall, I'm happy with these boots. I'd buy again but, personally, I'd go up a half size.

Great overall bootie! Easy to dress up for the office but can wear casually with jeans and looks cute. Perfect heel height for me as I am not a fan of wearing heels. These boots were comfortable straight out of the box. Highly recommend these for anyone needing a well constructed, fashionable bootie that won't go out of style.

LOVE! So cute and flattering. The color is a great neutral and will be an awesome addition to my wardrobe. I read somewhere else to size down 1/2 and they fit perfect.

There is a little bit of ankle room but I think will be fine with cuffed jeans. I love the neutral color. I ordered a 6 and has just a little bit of room in them, not enough to need to go down a half size though. They will be fine with thin socks.
