Bought these a few years ago. The sizing of the pair I bought a week ago very different. Unfortunately, I threw away packaging before trying them on. I am a 7-7.5 B and have always purchased Medium. These are painfully small and narrow. Very disappointed. Am going to donate them since they are brand new.

SO so so frustrating that these gorgeous slippers were for some reason sized so ridiculously NARROW! This is echoed in all the reviews, but they're so cute, I wanted to give them a shot anyway, but sure enough: the size 10 was snug for my standard-width 9.5-10 foot while BAREFOOT (length was fine for 9.5-10, not likely for 10.5, and width narrow). They would have been uncomfortably narrow with socks, and these are clearly winter slippers. For my mom's 10 D (wide) foot, they were totally out of the question. SO disappointing, Acorn! All the more so in that few slipper companies make anything as aesthetically appealing as these. Went with the Geisswein Flora for my mom's wider foot (their size 41 fit her 10 D foot well) and Haflinger for me. So wish Acorn's sizing wasn't so SO off!
I'd also recommend:

If you are sensitive to smells, I'd avoid this slipper. This slipper smells just awful-- a fake plasticky vanilla scent that makes my stomach turn. I don't want that chemical scent on my bare skin. It also doesn't grip my foot at all (I have a narrow foot, so was worried about it) and doesn't seem to have any special sort of arch support beyond what I could get in a fluffy slipper at Target etc.. The embroidery is quite lovely, but that's about all it has going for it. So disappointed!

the shoes/slippers were described as providing good foot support in the soul...........not........it's pretty much flat which is why I am sending them back with hopes of receiving a refund........disappointed, cauz I really like the blue wool and embroidery uppers.

DON'T BUY, super small and super tight, I normally wear S, and brought M and it's super small, and I have to pay for postage for exchanging sizes.

I have previously owned two pairs of this very make and model of slippers. Based on how my old ones fit it, I ordered the same size. The pair that arrived was imprinted with the same size as my older ones, but the slipper is way to small. When I compared the length of the sole, I found that the new slippers were about one size shorter.
I admire the styling and the construction, but the change in sizing is disappointing.

This is advertised as a mule. It is not. Instead of a flat back, it has a raised edge at the back which means that the fit has to be exact, whereas mules are forgiving

Opened box, tried on and returned immediately. Way too small and narrow. Do not buy. I wear a size 10 so bought 9.5 to 10.5. Did not fit. This is the largest size available in this style.

I wear a 7-7.5 and these were to small, maybe the large would have worked, I don't know. The only reason I bought these expensive slippers is because it said it had an enhanced heel and arch for stability and support, not the case, they actually hurt my heal. Needless to say I'm returning them.

I just love these slippers, but had to return them as the usual size don't fit anymore. (I have bought them twice before). I'm on the top end of the 9.5 -10.5 size and the new slippers seem to run smaller than before, or my feet are bigger, BUT they sadly don't come in a bigger size. Apparently women with bigger feet are not considered worthy of Acorn slippers, thus a poor grade from me!
