These slippers have the best arch support of any I have tried. At first I thought they would be too tight, but I found that they fit my 7.5 narrow, skinny feet with their flat arches perfectly. I also have arthritis in my toes and in the bottom of my feet. The slippers also stay on, and they are nice looking as well as cozy. As every time I have ordered from Zappos, my order arrived the following day. I always read reviews before ordering and I hope this one helps others.

I really like these slippers- they are supportive, warm, super cozy and I like the sewn on detail. I tried several others but find I have a hard time with fit when it comes to shoes that only run in whole sizes. I will say that I'm a 6/6.5 and the size 6.5-7.5 fit me perfectly, so I have a hard time imagining someone with a 7.5 foot wearing these comfortably. They definitely run a bit on the smaller side. Also I have a high instep and find slippers like these tend to hit the top of my foot causing discomfort, but these are perfect! Highly recommend!

Beautiful, comfortable, but for someone who usually wears a 10, I barely fit into the XL 9.5-10.5 size - I feel like I will always be stepping on the back part, and so will have to return them.

I wear a size 9 shoe. Having owned two pairs of Acorn slippers, size large (8 - 9), I felt confident ordering the same size in these slippers. This style of slipper has a hard, raised ridge at the back, which meant that my heel sat on top of that ridge rather than inside the ridge. Because of this, I returned them and ordered the size up (XL 9.5 - 11). The XL slipper fits fine. My heel sits inside the ridge with a little space to spare. I don't mind the little extra space. Slippers aren't meant to fit snuggly, in my opinion. If you wear a size 9 shoes, I recommend the XL.

These felt a bit snug at first, but seemed to stretch and fit well as soon as I started wearing them (which was immediately!). Wear them all around our country house and out into the yard as needed. Very comfy, and cute.

I wear a size 9.5 medium shoe but the size 8-9 slipper fits well after the fleece lining settles a bit. My feet are always cold, so I always buy wool slippers and these are nice and warm.

I bought this slipper because a review said at first small, after wearing good to go. But this is not the case if you are a wide shoe as I am, they are snug for a wide foot. The sizing says 6.5 to 7.5, which is also not true. I am a 7 wide and my foot goes to the very end of the slipper. Not sure how a "true 7.5" would fit this slipper. So sadly returning this too! Sad to say that there are not a lot of slippers in this style for a wide foot.

I did NOT want these slippers. I wanted washable, boiled wool with arch support I did not want faux light colored fleece interior. I tried on virtually every pair of ( way more expensive) boiled wool that are made, AND some UGGS. They were either too wide, or too sloppy in the foot or well, just not right. Finally, while these are not boiled wool, they are washable, so I ordered them. And yes, they are THE ONES.

I have been buying acorn slippers for years. As I've gotten older I find the mules easier to get in and out of. They are very comfortable and durable. I take my shoes off as soon as I return home and put my slippers on. They need to be durable to last since I wear them so frequently.

These are my all-time favorite. As a newly disabled senior citizen, these are perfect for everyday wear. They provide solid support without the thick layer of foam found in other models. With mobility and balance problems good support is essential. Thanks Acorn for a high quality affordable slipper.

They are great! I have plantar fasciitis, and cannot go without a shoe with some support and cushioning. In the summer I wear Crocs sandals inside, but that doesn't work with Chicago winters. Some years ago I was given a pair of Acorn slippers and liked thim. I figured it was worth a try again. They are very comfortable and allow me to walk on my hardwoods without foot pain. They aren't the best looking slippers I've seen, but looks aren't everything.

Third pair of these. The insoles smoosh down over the winter as I wear them so I get about one winter out of them. Could have a better supportive footbed, but that's me, I really need good arch support now a days.

I really really wanted these slippers to work. They are soft and warm but they do not have arch support whatsoever.
I like vionic brand shoes because of their support so I also tried their slippers - however, they are almost painful - they have so much support (and not soft support - felt like hard plastic).
I wish I could find a comfy slipper with arch support. Sadly, I must send back.

They run very small, if you order your shoe size, your heel may be coming off the back. However, when I ordered the next size up, they were falling off my feet. I would recommend but the sizing is tricky.

I was looking for a slipper to provide cushioning on hardwood floors. I have a heel spur and was looking for something to make it feel like I was walking on carpet. This slipper is cute, but just feels like a fuzzy warm but hard sandal. No support and not particularly comfortable.

Nice slipper but there is absolutely no arch support. I read the reviews hoping that this was my best bet. But sadly I have found no slippers that have arch support which are satisfactory. Vionic has too severe of an arch.

Amazingly comfortable and snugged my narrow feet well and gave me the heel support I need. Read all the reviews and I do get the medium. I’m typically a 6/6.5 and decided to go w the medium that’s 6.5/7. Not certain how someone that is a 7 would feel with these because mine just fit. As other reviewers mentioned, because this is a mule type with a slightly raised heel “guard” fitting can be difficult. They also keep your feet warm! Hopefully they last a long time!

My mother purchased these at a website, she frequents as a gift to me and I fell in love with them. I tried them on and it was a snug fit... at first, then loosened up..not too much, so it was comfortable, not tight ( 7 1/2 M ). I received these....if I remember correctly.....probably October or November of last year and still in going strong. Where these slippers at home no matter the chore; cooking, cleaning, or sitting at computer. To think have not washed them till today....it's a good thing to because am not going to explain the condition they are in. Anyway, will continue to wear them until they fall apart, then I'll purchase another pair. Thank you....Acorn staff and owners, absolutely appreciate your time and efforts in creating the perfect slipper for people like me !

How did I not know about these slippers. They are not only pretty but so comfortable. I wear a size 6, I ordered the small and they are perfect. They appear to be made well so I hope they last because I just love them. You wont be disappointed.
