These boots are very comfortable. However, be aware that the brown buckles are very dark, almost indistinguishable from the black of the boots. They look different than the picture in person. I still like them and kept them, but I was a little disappointed as I liked the contrast of the brown against the black in the online photo.

I marked that this boot felt true to size, but please note that it's a European size that corresponds to a 10.5-11. I'm more of an 11, so I'm wearing them around the living room for a day or so to try to decide if I can manage to keep them. They're absolutely beautiful, and they make my feet look more like a 9! Love the boots. Just watch the size.

Soft leather, cute, comfortable heel height, you cannot go wrong. These fit my criteria of "wear out of the door" comfortable which means they are great from morning until evening. I believe they are true to size. I wear an 11M and to be safe I ordered the 42. Keep in mind, the leather is very soft and will definitely give with wear. However, I didnt want a 'break-in' period, so I went with the 42. Great little bootie. My only regret is missing out on the brown ones in my size.

These are cute boots but they arrived scuffed in several places which is the reason I'm returning them. The leather is very soft and comfortable. The width of the sole seems a little narrow in relation to the width of the upper. I think it would bother me if I walked very long.

So cute but they run 1/2 size small, as I have found to be pretty standard with this brand.

Glove-soft and super-cute (and unfortunately not wide enough for my foot). The buckles are real, allowing for better fit.

Not made for high arches and wide feet. Felt like my foot was just hanging. If the footbed had melded to my foot, i'm sure I could have made it work but my arches were too high. There is absolutely no padding in the footbed either.

Somehow too small and too big at the same time. Maybe the heel isn’t long enough? So your instep doesn’t follow the arch of the shoe and the ball lands a bit forward, really be uncomfortable quickly. I haven’t had this issue before. They were cute but something about the look didn’t show that they were worth the price, clean but common.

I loved the style of these booties. I liked the wedged heel, that wasn't too tall for all-day wear. I especially loved the contrasting straps and buckles. When I first ordered these, the pair I received was 8.5-9 (39) in size and black with patten leather black straps. So right away I was not happy with receiving a shoe that did not look like the one I ordered. I then tried them on...they were too small. I usually wear size 39 (in Dansko) and 8.5 is nearly everything else. But the Lena was too small and too narrow, so I exchanged this pair for the next larger size. Luckily, the new pair that came had the contrasting brown straps, but still, the boot didn't fit. It wasn't too big or too small, it just felt wrong, like the shape of the boot was just not forming to my foot or the boot was trying to force my foot into a weird shape. I'm not sure but I had to send this pair back too.

The shoe feels true to size. I like that they are comfortable to stand/walk in. However the look in feel is cheaper than what I am used to despite the price. I am going to keep them but will hold off on ordering the same shoe in a different color.

I was surprised to see such a small boot when I took it out of the box. I could already tell it could not be the size indicated. The box had the correct size, but these are definitely small. They seem like they will work well if I go up a size (...or two!?!). There are no hot spots other than the general tightness around the foot from being too small. There is no way they will "break in" enough.

I was expecting a more distressed leather look. They were quite narrow. I was surprised as I have bought several of Eric Michael shoes and they were true to fit. But these felt small and narrow and I wasn’t thrilled with the look of the leather...back they go!

I liked these although they felt slightly narrow. I purchased the red in size 38 and I normally wear 8 or 81/2. With normal socks they felt good but since I was returning them I only wore them on the carpet in the house for 10 minutes. I would never be able to wear heavy winter type socks with these. When I opened the box I noticed some slight reddish coloring on the inside and on the paper wrapping. I didn't think to much about that until I noticed scuff marks on the boots just from holding them and putting them on - really, for this amount of money I expect a good quality leather, these did not meet those expectations. I had ordered Pinkolinos Le mans boots in size 38 and they arrived the same day. I ordered the Lead color but mistakenly the reddish were in the Lead color box! A twist of fate. Pinkolinos were much more comfortable, fit like slippers and looked much better too. Since I previously wore the LeMans for 5 years this was a no-brainer to keep the Pinkolinos and send these back.

These shoes are so cute, they are a little narrow and a little tight at the toe. I will try a different size but I think that they will be worth it.

Fell in love with these as soon as I saw them. I don't normally buy shoes in this price range, but after reading the positive reviews I decided to splurge. They are cute and comfortable, but the first pair had a squeaky shoe. I gave it some time, thinking it would work itself out. Didn't happen, so I exchanged for another pair thinking it must be a fluke. I think I had 2-3 days with the new pair with no squeak, but then it started again. Continued to get louder every day I wore them. Decided not to exchange, but rather returned. Very frustrating because I really like the look and feel of these boots.

These are beautiful booties in terms of craftsmanship and very well made. But I was looking for something I bit more cool looking to go with skinny jeans. They look more of an old ladies boot (perfect for woman in her 50s or 60s). I really want a bootie in grey for the Fall. The grey color was perfect but the mid-brown straps across the foot made them look dated. I am so glad for Zappos returns! Makes my boot/shoe hunt for Fall each year from a rural area so much easier when I can order online.

Really cute shoe, but narrow in the heel box. I ordered a 7.5, my normal size, but if you want to wear any sock other than a very thin "ped" - they won't fit. Alas, back they go.

Sending back. They do not look like the photo. I ordered the black boots with the brown straps and I got black boots with straps so dark I had to put them in natural light to tell if they were brown or black. No contrast. For $185 I want them to look like the photo.

I really wanted to like these boots, but I found them to be too narrow, especially across the ball/toe area. There is no padding in the ball area, and arch support felt nonexistent. I can't imagine spending all day in these. They were uncomfortable after walking around my carpeted house for 20 minutes. The wedge is the perfect height, though, and they are very attractive.

I wanted to like these. I really did. The leather is nice. The different colored straps are unique. I like the scalloped detailing, but they were just too narrow. I also have high arches and it felt like I was balancing on the ball and heel of my foot without any support in the middle. After walking around the house in them for 15 minutes, I absolutely had to take them off. My foot was being squeezed too much. Even loosening the buckle to the widest setting did not help. I am not the type who has to buy wide shoes. I am sad that these did not workout.

These are real cute and look to be good quality. However...I could feel the dust on the floor through the soles they are so thin. Have to return.

The sizing for these is very small or the EU to US size translation is off. 42 is not a 12, more like a small 11. I am truly an 11.5 and I couldn’t even get my foot in these boots. I wish I had noticed it was a 42 but I had sorted per size and it came up as a 12.

I've worn these boots for year - had several pairs. The leather was buttery and supple. I just got a new pair and they are nothing like the previous ones. Leather is stiff and puffy, there is no give to the sole, and they just look and feel a lot cheaper
