These shoes were perfect for my 91 year old mother who with age has mishapen feet (overlapping toes), is susceptible to corns, and has swollen ankles. They are extremely easy for her to get on and are wide enough for her. She says they are as comfortable as slippers and are good for her daily 15 minute walks. She would love to have another pair in a light color.

I originally purchased this in an X width and it felt tight so I exchanged them for XX. These seem too wide for me but they will do temporarily (edema). I found the exchange to be very easy and the person who helped me was very sweet and helpful. No problems at all!

One would need an insert which Medicare doesn’t approve. You get the shoe or the insert. New rules I guess.

Did not feel wide width to me. I wore them once and they were tight, order a size up and go really wide if you have swollen feet. Were too smooth on the sore, not comfortable at all driving. And they’re really thin material, good if your feet run hot. I have an office job so I sit most of the time, it’s a good thing too because at the end of the day my feet really hurt and they usually don’t.

Fit was wrong. So didn't wear them long enough to comment. But, fabric was much softer than leather or normal fabric--very nice. A good casual shoe. I don't agree with the Zappos clasification as a slipper. Being returned for a larger size--both width and length.

I would expect an "X" width to be able to cross over my foot and not have any velcro showing. Too tacky for my tastes.

I bought this shoe for my 91 year old mother who lives in a nursing home. She has bunions and the fabric of this shoe was stiff and uncomfortable on her sensitive feet. She liked the style and appearance of the fabric and it appeared to be a well made shoe. This shoe might have worked for her when she was younger and had less problems with her feet.

Liked the style. I wear a normal width. However, I could not properly close the velcro; it was not long enough.

I was very disappointed that these run so small in length and width. I am normally an 8 W, which is what I ordered. These are so narrow I am not sure even ordering a 9 W would fit so I am returning and not reordering.

The color was good and they did not look as terrible as the "walking boot" Urgent Care had given me, but there was really no soft support at all. I was hoping for cushioning and I am still hoping to find it somewhere!

Update to my previous review: While I LOVE the shoes I already have, these are NOT sized the same at all. Even a size 8 is a hair shorter than the 7 1/2 I have, the sole is narrower and the uppers have less material, making the overall width so narrow I can no longer wear these shoes. I am extremely disappointed. Zappos service is great, however, as usual. This is a mfg issue.

Nice looking for a transition shoe from foot surgery but the width is narrower than expected and there is very little cushioning in the insole and no arch support at all. The wide opening does makes it very easy to put on though, even with an elastic wrap on foot. Had to return. Simply too narrow.

I have a very short and wide foot. It is pretty hard to find decent shoes for when I have to wear them... I'm a flip flop every day kind of girl but forced to wear "real" shoes to work. I'm still fairly young so was disappointed that I'm stuck with ugly shoes now. These shoes are NOT cute, but they are pretty comfortable. I'm pretty annoyed that for shoes that cost so much, the insoles are already coming apart after only 7 wears. I already had to peel off the top layer because it was almost complete off in both shoes. now the next layer (foam) is coming out already. So pretty soon these expensive and ugly shoes are not actually going to be comfortable anymore, but I still can't wear flip flops to work.

This shoe runs tight and the flap over the top cuts into the front of the joint area of the foot/leg. Could not even attch the flap to the shoe because the flap was to short to reach across the shoe. It was pushed forward by the front of the leg.

For any diabetic with somewhat swollen feet, this shoe is too tight across the arch on top, Once on, they can easily slip off and leave you stumbling. They are also clumsy to put on; annoying velcro grabs anything it contacts, Women will buy these for their menfolks because they think they are kind of cute. Get something else if you need functionality.

I got the black corduroy style. Unfortunately, I will have to return these shoes. It seemed as though the shoe was wide enough and the length was right....however, the top of the shoe towards the ankle was too long and DUG into my ankle bone when I walked! There was no give at all and maybe that was the diff between the corduroy and the neoprene. We all know corduroy is usually very unforgiving no matter how it is used. I did more research and found some other very wide shoes to try - hopefully one or more of those will work.

I have narrow feet and plantar fasciitis. These are one of the only women's slippers that come in a narrow size and have some accommodation for arch support or inserting your own orthotics. Unfortunately, they just don't fit my foot. I usually wear an 8N. My toes kept hitting the end of the shoe, so I ordered an 8.5. Because the slipper isn't a true N, my foot slides and my toes continue to hit the end of the shoe. I give up. I wish Drew still made the Brandi slipper as I had worn them for years...

When I ordered this shoe, I had done a search for MEN'S Propet slippers....I need an size 8 /2E in Mens. I may have overlooked the Womens when ordering them...But I thought for sure I had ordered MENs. What came was Womens.

I've worn 3Es for years I ordered these to get more room. It's not there. barely can close the velcro flap. These are barely a wide.

I did not even try them on. The sole was hard and offered no griping power. This style of shoe is for compromised individuals. I am old and fairly steady on my feet, but a fall is a fall and I felt this was one waiting to happen.

I ordered several pairs of slippers for my mom who is 85, they all need to have a larger toe box..... as these folks get older, they have bunions, arthritis, etc going on and they need MORE space to comfortably wear SHOES and SLIPPERS...... we will keep trying to find her some. Thank you

Unfortunately, this shoe like so many others are just not made high enough for straps to accommodate a person who has high instep arch and swollen feet. This would have been a perfect shoe for my sister, who is diabetic and has lymphademia . The flap was made too short to close by 3 inches. When you foot is 13 inches thick at the arch - it is almost impossible to find a shoe other than lace up that will fit. Please I appeal to your designers, address this and offer something that will work for more diabetic patients with swollen feet.
