I love these shoes. I work fashion retail on cement floors, so I wear longer pants to cover them because they aren't super stylish, but they aren't nearly as bad as I thought they would be. I had to put inserts in them to push my foot up a little bit higher because they rubbed my heels raw, but they were so comfortable after that. I will be buying many more pairs of these, my ankles and knees feel much better at the end of a day in these shoes.

I got these for work and they easily help my feet hold up to 8 hours or more. I am not on my feet all day but I am up and down and walking around quite frequently. I have plantar fasciitis and a really high arch so I wear mostly Alegria shoes for both work and everywhere else. These aren't the cutest or the most comfortable Alegria shoes I own but they are an excellent shoe and for some work outfits they are perfect.

I like the shoes. I thought they were black leather not the black shiny leather. Also they were a little wide. I love Alegria styles will be my number one shoes.

Fun design, great foot bed with supportive arch. Removable insole but not likely your standard insole would fit as well. Too narrow for me even in the wide version. This shoe and all the other Alegria I tried press down on my big toe and rubs my bunions. Returning them.

I thought these were adorable...but on, not so much. They're definitely cut narrower than "Paloma" (which is good) but they're still quite boxy and run extremely small. I'm a 7 & ordered a 37, which should have fit but did not. I don't really like them enough to try a 38, so that's that with Alegria Belle! They're made very well so if they happen to fit your feet, you're fortunate. I'll keep on trying! (Just not with these.)

So comfortable! Not fashionable at all but have received several compliments on the shoes - generally from women working in sales. The navy almost fluorescent print is different and I like it although it has already started to wear off after only a few weeks - not that noticeable.

Immediately out of the box both shoes squeaked like crazy! Another reviewer suggested silicone lubricant between the shoe bottom and insole for squeaks so maybe this is a common issue with Alegria shoes. The black magic Paloma style (beautiful leather) wasn't available in my size so I took a chance on the Belle in black crinkle. It's sort of a black patent with slight wrinkles and doesn't have the richness of the smooth black leather on the Paloma style. It looks too much like vinyl to me. The shoe has the characteristic comfortable wide toe box of Alegria shoes and I think the overall shoe is wider than the Paloma. The insoles are removable if you have orthotics.

The Alegria Belle is a very
comfortable shoe. It is fully
adjustable and nice and wide in the toe area. The bottom of the shoe provides more comfort and durability. It is not a beautiful shoe but looks like it will last forever.

A physical therapist recommended Algeria shoes due to problems with my foot. The rocker bottoms are supposed to help. I do not like the looks of the shoes at all. They are not stylish in any way and look clod hopper-ish. But I have sucked it up and ordered a total of around 6 different pair and had to return every one of them. (Thank you Zappos & I am sorry!) I have tried a number of different styles of Algeria and they either hit at the bad part of my foot or the sizing is inconsistent. The inconsistent sizing across the brand is really annoying as is the European sizing. I am a 8 1/2 and a bit wider foot. The 38's tend to be too small and 39's are too big or else the height inside the shoe was to narrow. Just tired of trying to find an Algeria that is tolerable and that fits. Maybe I'll try again in the spring if they have some cuter styles. As for this style, I got the 39's and they were way too big. I also did not feel as though they were as cushiony as some of the other styles I have tried in this brand. They seem to be on the wide side. I ordered the wide and would have had to have regular width if I kept them...which I did not.

I heard this shoe ran a little wide, so I figured I would be okay getting a regular width shoe, even though I sometimes need a wide. When they came in, they felt comfortable at first, but then it started rubbing me on the heels and the outer sides of my feet. I took them off and went barefoot the rest of the day. Sending them back. Luckily Zappos is awesome! After calling customer service, I decided to order the Paloma in a wide width. It will be here on Monday. Hopefully they work. I can tell that Alegria has excellent support!

I was really looking forward to these for my job as a nurse. The sale price was terrific, so I finally ordered. Sadly the vamp (the part of the shoe that goes from the foot to the toe) cut into the top of my foot painfully, and the material is very stiff, so I know that it would not break in. I did follow the sizing and width recommendations of others, but I think that my feet are a bit boxy. All the other dimensions fit, they felt very stiff, but they fit. It was like the shoe is a centimeter too flat. New Balance 9½W in women's fits me best, but they become too loose after a month or two of wearing. I just do not have the luxury of breaking in shoes for a month or two for the amount of time I spend on my feet. I am super disappointed, I love the way Alegria look!

Very comfortable shoe. I work 12 hr shifts and my feet don t hurt at the end of the day. If I have one complaint it would be they squeak. I've been wearing them a couple of weeks so that may improve.

Runs a little small. The leather is stiff and presses on the sides of the foot. My friend owns same pair but in patent and she said they loosen up over time. I think I need a bigger size because my big toe touches tip when I walk and I know after 13 hours it will kill me.

Very cute shoe. More of a camel color than orange. Happy with them. Biggest complaint is how loud they are. I feel like I'm wearing tap shoes when walking on hard surfaces!

I've recently made the switch to sturdier, more supportive footwear. Overall, I'm happy with this shoe. I'm still wondering if I should put in my SuperFeet in place of the standard insole since my foot pain continues on and off. Also, this shoe does squeak. I'm putting up with it, but it is pretty loud and a little ridiculous. I wonder if switching the insoles will help with that. I prefer this shoe over the Paloma--not a rocker bottom and a little narrower. However, I prefer the color/style options in then Paloma line better. I purchased the Burnished Cognac and it scuffs easily. I wish all of the Belle styles had the lovely ridge effect at the toe. Finally, I ordered the size as recommended (38 for 8-8.5). I'm a 39 in Dasnko, but these fit well at size 38.

I really wanted to like these shoes! I work standing in one place on linoleum floor all day (veterinary medical office), and was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. They don't work though. The metallic finish seemed delicate (no good when dogs walk over your feet), and the cushioning was just not adequate for my painful foot. If I was *just* trying to fit my fat foot and only worked as a medical receptionist, sitting part of the time.
Boy howdy, though, is that metallic finish shiny?!?! I loved it. But entirely too impractical for me.

I purchased these shoes at my mom's recommendation after my feet grew from an 8 to a 9 after my pregnancy. I bought them as an alternative to the bright white (comfortable) New Balance shoes that I was wearing too often. These give me the support and stability of a sneaker, but they are nice enough to wear to work. I'm 32, so I rolled my eyes at the thought of buying comfort shoes, but these are fine. They are a bit thicker soled than my "cute" flats, but they are also much more comfortable. I typically wear them with casual pants on weekends, but I do wear them in the office when my feet need a break from my typical professional shoes. These shoes run very wide in the toe box. My feet are a 9M and I initially felt these shoes were too wide. The double velcro strap is very adjustable, though, and I'm able to wear these shoes with no problem. I can wear anything from a thin sock to an athletic-weight sock without a problem. These shoes are generously sized. If you have wide feet, these are a good choice.

The shoes are comfortable, however, I do not like that there is an attachment for the strap on the inside. That gets caught quite regularly!

Love this shoe but it's a little small on my right foot, my toe touches the end sometimes so hopefully they will stretch a little. But next size up is way too big, have them in brn have to give em away. Comfort is amazing though.

Great shoe! Very stylish! I get a lot of comments about the look of the shoe. I bought these shoes because I stand on my feet 8 hours a day. They are okay for standing; however, I wouldn't recommend them for excessive movement like walking. I'm in the hospitality industry and my feet sometimes get tired toward the end of the day.

I have 4 other Alegria shoes that are wonderful. These feel too big and actually hurt my feet. The others are European sizes, and I know which fit me best. Has Alegria changed it's sizing?

I have a pair of shoes from Algeria that I love and have worn for a few years, so I was excited about replacing them with another pair from the same brand. Unfortunately, these shoes are shaped very differently from the pair I purchased before. The toe box is very short (top to bottom) and presses very hard into the top of my foot just past the toes. Unless you have very flat duck flipper feet, you may have trouble with the fit of these. My feet rise just past the toes (high arches) so this just won’t work for me, unfortunately. Cute shoes though.

I wish I could have loved these. But I ordered my size and they hurt my big toe. Plus I have a high arch and wasn’t able to secure the straight because of it. I’m sad because they’re so cute and comfy otherwise.
