I wear them to ride my motorcycle. They are nice a flat so I can use my foot controls. I have a large bunion on my left foot, and so I had to stretch out the left shoe. Both shoes are perfect now. They are comfy on and off the bike.

Comfortable right out of the box. I'm usually an 8.5 but ordered an 8 because of the reviews. They fit me perfectly with medium-weight socks and insoles I added for arch support. I walked for an hour in them on the first day I wore them and they felt great. Also spent a day on my feet in them. Again great. Fashion-wise, they look like boots, but they feel like sneakers.

These shoes are comfortable and lightweight, especially for a Dr. Marten. I wear them often and have walked miles in them. Love them!

I purchased these for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves them! She says they are very comfortable and only wears them now.

This is my only pair of Doc Martens. They are much lighter than their usual boots which are too heavy for me. I agree with the other reviewers that they do run very large. I got a full size smaller than I would normally wear in boots and they are perfect even with heavy socks. They look absolutely nothing like tennis shoes which someone else said. They are very definitely boots. They are very comfortable and the cherry red color is great. It is not bright red but really more of a neutral which surprisingly goes well with almost everything. I really like these and after a good spraying with waterproof spray think I will wear them a lot.

these definitely run large. I am a half size and assumed I would need to go to the full size larger but they were huge. the full size smaller was plenty big even with socks. these are very light weight unlike most Doc Martins which are too heavy for me to wear. I don't think these look anything like sneakers as someone else said. they look like boots. I am very happy with them so far.

My babies! These are my first pair of Doc Martens and my favorites on Zappos are filled with them now. They are super comfortable and extremely appealing. They run true to size. I would buy them a million times over if I could.

Super comfortable and lightweight, a nice adaptation of the Doc Martens style to a less clunky shoe. Really hope they'll keep making this style! My only complaints are that your feet will get damp in rainy weather (not soaked but definitely damp) and the sole can be slippery on wet, smooth surfaces (the tread is mostly flat).

Great quality and look. Sizing correct, size up if you like any extra space. Two half sizes if you prefer to wear thick socks. I switched out my insoles with Dr. Scholl's and it makes the flat insole (and I assume lack of thick rubber heel from classic Docs) bearable to walk around in. I got these as SoCal rainboots and they work well for that purpose. The only thing that is questionable that another reviewer mentioned is the narrow tongue - it's soft so it bends well, but it's narrow so it moves to one size or the other of your ankle. I don't notice it while wearing though, so it's mostly fine.

The sizing is inaccurately listed. A women’s 6 is a European 36 or a UK 3.

These boots are satisfying to wear around. They make me feel like I am cool, and I am a dork, for real. Lightweight and stylish. I wear an 8 and these fit true to size with plenty of room for a thicker warmer sock in the winter. My only complaint- the tongue doesn't stay in place on the left shoe. It's a bit frustrating but I love the look of these shoes so much, I'm just going to deal with it.

I really love these boots! They are super cute and look great with a variety of outfits (I got the grey felt). I did read reviews and agree that they are harder to get on, but loosing the laces more makes it easier. They definitely aren't a slip on and run type of shoe. The lack of arch support is disappointing for me, so (for me) they won't be used for long walks but more for shorter trips out.

They run big! I always wear a size 9 so I initially ordered the UK 7 and they were way too big! Exchanged for a UK 6 and they fit great. Not too tight, just right. I've only worn them once and seems like they will need to be worn in but so far so good.

These are comfy and require no break-in time. They do run a bit large, I am usually 8.5-9 and I fit in a UK 6 in these. Not a ton of traction, so good for wear in the fall but not on ice. I like the non-chunky profile and the sturdiness of the leather.

In true Doc Marten fashion, these shoes are super comfortable. Soft leather made it an easy and less 'break in' time frame (un like other Doc Martin shoes) the quality of the stitching is great. Do not mind the yellow contrast of the stitching against the rich black. You can never go wrong with Doc Marten shoes.

Good fit and width. The only caveat is that with a tongue this long, there should be slits for the the laces to pass through. The tongue keeps sliding sideways.

I usually wear an 8.5-9 in boots. Reviews stated these run large but these fit me in size 9. The style isn't too flattering on me. They look best when the high top shows but with long pants that cover the top, they look a bit like orthopedic sneakers in my opinion. I'm returning these.

Usually Docs are wide and run big, but that is not the case for this shoe. More narrow than most Docs and no support. Unfortunately I can’t return because I needed them for a trip and wore them, otherwise, I would be returning them.

The shoe was just not very comfortable around the ankle. I assumed it would be leather, but it wasn't from what I could tell. Just not my style.

Very pretty boot, to look at, but the "leather" is bonded material, and will not stand up to hard wear. Sizing just right. I wish I could keep these, but they just are not going to survive our weather.

These are cute boots but offer absolutely zero support and were just not comfortable from the second I put them on. I was also somewhat disappointed in the pebbled leather - not really what I'd expected. Sadly these are going back.

I liked these shoes out of the box, but there were just too many problems with them. First, the white color! I was excited to have a pair of fresh white kicks, but as a sneaker-boot newcomer, these were just too snowy. Blindingly white, and bound to get dirty in a matter of hours. Seems to defeat the purpose of having boots... Unless you're planning on only wearing them indoors, stay away from the white. Second, the fit was very uncomfortable. They were true to size, but the left shoe fit differently from them right; it rubbed my ankle painfully, and was very hard on my high arches. Very, very flat shoes. Last, the style just didn't work for me. They look like sneakers, but are styled like a boot. They're meant to be boot-like, but aren't rugged enough. I'd rather have a true sneaker or boot than this uncomfortable hybrid. (I exchanged for more comfortable, less clunky leather Converse.) All that said, they are beautiful shoes and I wish the best to those who can pull them off.

Love these boots! As previous reviews suggested, I ordered a size smaller than my usual and the fit is great. Comfort right out of the box, flexible and well made. I prefer a minimalist shoe with light support and these are perfect. Fun and casual style:)
