This is a nice, solid shoe. I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding anything that will fit me. If it fits in the toe box, the heel is too big. If the heel fits, the toe box is often too tight. This shoe works both toe and heel for my narrow feet. I have it in brown and black now. It's comfortable,straightforward and nice looking. The style is very basic, lacking any detail, but I like the proportions of the shoe.

I was looking for a pair of good comfortable walking shoes that were nice looking as well. These fit the bill (and my feet) perfectly. I have a bunionette (tailor's bunion) on my left foot and I always need to consider the shoe I'm going to purchase. I spend time searching the Zappos site for a comfortable shoe, especially paying attention to reviews others write. This particular shoe got great reviews and my decision was made. I purchased these Hush Puppies and am so very happy I did. They are very comfortable and nice looking with a toe box that is just right. By chance I spotted this shoe at my local shoe store. I was looking for a comfortable, stylish shoe to wear on the plane. Hate taking boots and other lace-up types on and off. So, tried them on, and from the moment I slipped my foot in, I knew! Plus, I have a very wide foot and often have to buy a larger size to accommodate. Not with this shoe. The 6.5 wide fit perfect! Don't know when I've had such a perfect fit. Consider me a new and loyal customer.

Little less than moderate arch support. Just because the heel is raised and the ball is lower does not mean the arch is supported. The toe box is too tapered and pinches my toes together. Beautiful style, but I had to return.

I've been looking for a MJ to wear square dancing; slip-ons tend to fall off during vigorous activity. My usual shoes, 9D's due to a bunion, sometimes trip me; they are a bit too long. The Epic MJ fits a 1/2 size smaller for the same interior width and the straps don't press on my bunions. I also appreciate the heel height the Epic MJ provides. By the way, my feet look slimmer in this shoe. The toe box is adequate -- could be a millimeter higher -- but overall, the shoe is much more comfortable and attractive than the ones I own and have tried on over the last year. Yea! HUSH PUPPIES!

This is a great shoe, comfortable and nice looking. However, I have been wearing MBT shoes for work for the last four years and they really helped my feet, legs (I get restless leg syndrome), back and overall posture. I am a flight attendant and do the long haul flights of 16 plus hours. I was afraid that this shoe would not be able to perform the way the MBT does. Zappos used to carry MBT brand. But now they are hard to find. For any other occasion this shoe would work.

These shoes fit so great I was compelled to write a review.
I have freakishly wide feet. I can never find shoes that fit and because my feet are so wide I wear shoes out at an alarming pace (from all the stretching).I have been on the search for extra wide width shoes and found these Mary Jane shoes with a slight heel and was elated because it's EXACTLY the style I wanted.
I usually wear a size 9 but they were out of stock of extra wide size 9 so I took a chance and ordered an extra wide 8.5. THEY FIT LIKE A DREAM!! I almost cried when I tried them on because even with a thin sock they are literally perfect- not smashed toes, no stretching, and the top of my food doesn't looked stuffed into the shoe (hello adjustable strap).
I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy another pair in a different color as soon as I get my next pay check. Seriously amazing fit and that's coming from a person who has literally one pair of decent fitting shoes in her closet besides flip flops- and it's these.

A bit larger than I expected, but after worn a few times, very comfortable. Just used an insert at the heel to keep from slipping. Next time I will order 1/2 size smaller. Have worn hush puppies for several years. Like no slip sole.

I've been wearing these shoes for almost 1 1/2 years, and they are one of the best shoes I've ever owned. I wear them several times a week, and they are still going strong. Comfortable, sturdy, I can walk forever in them...and they are cute. They did have a break in period (walking all over Rome on vacation, but they didn't kill my feet). But once my foot and this shoe got to know each other better, they are the best of friends. I'll be sad to see them go someday.

I love these shoes! I have slightly wide feet at the toe bed but average size otherwise (size 6) and have had a very difficult time finding dress shoes that don't hurt my feet. I had ordered a 2nd pair of another brand in black for variety but they slipped off my heel so I ended up ordering this shoe in black as well as brown. I'm happy with them.
