Extremely uncomfortable. I wore the shoe for less than five minutes and could not tolerate it any longer. There doesn’t seem to be any cushion at all for your feet. It reminds me of shoes from over 50 years ago. If you want a cute shoe and don’t care how it feels on your feet, this is the shoe for you.

The toes of the shoes are curved upwards which was very painful for my arthritic big toes.
I had to return. Loved the look.
The return was easy and quick.
Will continue to shop Zappos to try to find a shoe that fits my difficult feet.

The sole turned up too much at the tip, making it uncomfortable and weird-looking. I wanted them for walking around Rome next year and they just would not do. And frankly they had an "old lady" look to them that I didn't care for, even though I'm an old lady.

These are very cute shoe. Unfortunately, the Velcro strap is short and does not work well for anyone who has a high instep. When buckled it looks awkward and unstable the top. I am returning these.

These were disappointing. I used to own this pair of shoes (in a different color) and wore them for many years with my custom orthotic inserts. This new pair had no room for the orthotics, and in fact, barely fit its own insoles. I understand that my old pair was probably stretched out, but there seemed to be a huge difference in size. It's too bad, because these shoes have a great sole for walking and yet still look dressy.

I returned these shoes. The fit was fine. But they curved up at the toes making my feet feel like they were bending upward, backwards to the normal way a foot can curve. I found that very uncomfortable.

I was swayed by a lot of very positive reviews about this shoe and also because the color pictured was perfect to accompany leather handles on two of my casual bags. they arrived promptly and the price was great but they didn’t fit true to size for me (I am a 6-6.5 depending on the Brand). They felt much stiffer than I was expecting but the deal breaker was that the color was not at all a brown as in the picture but a very ‘mud like brown’. Customer reviews are so important and I always read them before purchasing but I really struck out on this one.

I ordered the size recommended for me, 7W, but they were much too loose everywhere. They might be cute on someone with a narrower, longer foot, but they made me feel like Minnie Mouse with wide, clunky feet. I returned them.

I love Hush Puppy shoes. I've always had a pair: different styles, different colours. I was looking for a Mary Jane wedge style shoe and so purchased these ones. I am very disappointed in them. They aren't comfortable. They have very little flexibility unlike other HP styles that I have worn in the past. I couldn't wait to get home from work in order to take them off. And I won't be wearing them again. So sad ...

I was very glad when I found this style again. I have been wearing this Mary Jane style from Hushpuppies for about 5 years. I have had both hips replaced & need shoes that have a lot of support, that I don't have to tie. These were the only shoes I could wear day after day after day. The last pair I purchased was starting to wear out, so
I purchased 2 more pair about 2 months ago. These aren't the same shoes that I have bought in the past. The quality & fit is not the same. The shoes are more narrowed, even tho I ordered the same width & size as before, 8 EW. My toes will start going numb a few hours after having them on. I have had to go back to wearing my old ones, until I find something else that works for me. The toe box crinkled on the 3rd day of wearing them and the back bends down when putting them on. I ordered the dark brown and it's a different shade of brown, then my old ones. It is a duller brown & not as dark. The length is fine. I still have the box from my last pair purchased & the only difference I found was the new ones are made in India & the old ones were made in China.

Box was so stiff, it pressed down on my large toenails and was painful. So unfortunately, I have to send them back. I've always worn size 10 and hush puppies, I'm not sure what the difference is with these.

My hopes were high for this show but they fell short of my expectations. I am between a 9.5 and 10 and usually size 10 has enough space for my feet. This was not the case for these shoes. I ordered a 10 ad they felt like a 9.5. They didn't feel like there was an arch support either.

I normally wear a 8.5 wide or double wide, so that's what I ordered. As another commenter said, the toe box is very thin, height-wise. Also, the strap is SO long that when I strapped it comfortably, the end was dragging on the ground. When I strapped it how it should be (lining up velcro), the strap stood almost an inch above my foot! It was wide enough though, I guess there's that.

I'm sold on Dansko for comfort and true to size, but thought I would try these Hush Puppies (less expensive!)The toe box seemed to be cut too short and the shoes were too big. I returned them. I love Zappos free shipping and great customer service. It's risky to buy shoes online, but Zappos makes it easy!!!

Apparently from other reviews, this shoe fits some people well. It is awful on my foot. Got it really wide, but was too short and too wide and the strap was 6 inches to long...and they still hurt my big toe. They also increased the tendency I have to pronate with my right foot. Just horrible for me.

I got this for my daughter because of all of the great reviews. She said that they were very stiff and uncomfortable in the toe area. She only wore them around the house on the carpet to see how they wear. Not good! So I am returning them. This is the second pair of shoes I've had to return to in less than a month. I'm getting very disappointed because I have been shopping on Zappos for years.
