I have to be honest, these were really unattractive to me when I opened the box, so I didn't really give them much thought. The leather looked plasticky and didn't really give much.

I liked this cute Mary Jane style and initially ordered my regular 9-1/2W black that was too short and narrow. I returned the 9-1/2W and ordered a 10W. The length was perfect but still too narrow. I’m also returning the 10W.

I just received these shoes today and I love them. I have purchased this style shoe from another maker before. However, I like the way these shoes. are made and how they look for work.

No arch support whatsoever. Was really disappointed in the factory insole. The toe curves upward which was very uncomfortable. They look cute but certainly did not feel that way.

These looked good for my needs, but were too tight in the toe (height wise) when I took out the insole and replaced it with my standard orthotic (not custom). If you don't need to put in an orthotic, I think this can be great shoes.

These shoes looked good, but the shoe cut into the top of toes and was very tight. These will be going back.

Not sure if it was just me, but the placement of the strap was weird.

These looked a little less nostalgic when they arrived than they do in the posted image. And the leather is definitely harder than I expected it to be. Wore them for a holiday choral performance where I had to stand for more than an hour and while the bottom of my feet was fine, the hard leather running across my toes was more uncomfortable. A study, workable shoe, but it won't win any beauty pageants or Most Comfy awards.

I tried so hard for these to work. I had a great pair of Clarks Mary Janes for a long time and wanted a replacement about a year ago when those Clarks disappeared from Zappos and I wore my pair out. I thought these would be a good replacement, ordered the same size I had in the Clarks (11W), but they were WAY too big. I was living abroad and had to travel so I gave up and ordered a new pair of Clarks from Amazon and took those with me. Fast forward to now, and I ordered these in a 10W, thinking they would fit. I never wear anything under a 10, but these were still slipping off my heel. So I returned them, got a 9.5W, and they were way too tight. So as much as I tried, I never could get these, which is a shame because the leather is really soft and they're really cute mary janes - they'd look good with a dress or anything else. Good luck!

Loved the shoes. Nice leather and nice style. Unfortunately, the ball if the foot has zero padding. Very painful to walk even with insoles.

very uncomfortable shoe if you are planning to be on your feet all day. Not meant for standing in for a long periods of time. Sole is made out of hard plastic. I would return, but unfortunately found out how uncomfortable they are after wearing them to work. First review ever written about shoes, that's how uncomfortable they are. Especially on the heel. Tried them with inserts, not much of a difference.

Shoe is attractive and strap is long enough for my high instep, but the sole is thin and hard. It does not cushion the foot and does not support the arch.

The shoe sorta fit, but has no flexibility in the leather. The strap is too long for me to adjust it tight enough, had it been about 1" shorter it might have worked. So sadly they had to be sent back.

I wear a 9EW and I find the toe box to be wide enough; however, it was a little short across the top and toebox should be a little higher. I have bunions and this causes them to hurt after wearing for awhile. Otherwise, the shoe is comfortable. Would strongly recommend to those without bunions.

Being Hush Puppies, I expected these shoes to be extra comfortable. There is plenty of padding in the heal, but not in the rest.

I should have brought one color first. This is such a cute shoe. I wear an 8W but the shoe feels narrow because of the front. The seam sits right above the main knuckle of my big toe and squeezes/rubs when I walk. I tried them for two days at work, on both days after about three hours the tops of my feet were swollen. I want to try the 8WW because everything else is perfect.

The toe box is too short, and my toes were uncomfortable just walking a few feet in my house. The remainder of the shoe was great. These shoes will only work for women with thin short toes.

This shoe was true to size, but it made me overpronate. I have a slight pronation problem anyway, but this is the first shoe I've purchased which added to it. Sent these back.

This shoe is very cute, but has some problems. Had to cut the strap because it was so long it was dragging on the floor. The leather is very stiff, even after treating with leather softener and wearing one full day. The toe box felt small, and the sole is not flexible at all so the shoes made clumpfy noise as I walked. Cannot bring myself to wear them again - they will be donated.

Great shoes, a tad on the larger side in terms of size (I ordered 7.5 WW) but the width seems good. The toe box seems good as well. Not much arch support, so I may have to find some inserts to put inside to help me since I stand/walk quite a bit for my teaching job.

The shoes are very stylish, externally, but the innersoles that come with them are flimsy and offer almost no arch support. Plus, some genius decided that putting holes in the innersole at ball of the foot and adding an embossed Hush Puppies label at the heel would somehow improve the design further. I bought some inner-soles to replace them. That gave more support, but caused my feet to slide forward in the shoe, causing the front part of the uppers to dig into them. I really liked the sturdy construction of the shoe, but it just was not worth the pain of actually wearing them.

I knew within seconds that the shoes didn't match each other! The toe boxes were not at all the same visually or fit wise. One was both wider at the tip of the toe, squarer at the curved edge where the toe box met skin, and went higher up the foot. The other was so shallow cut that you could see toe cleavage. Neither style/version was well padded enough in the insole for my taste or the price. The dark brown is a nice color. The leather was okay and would have been quite soft and easily broken in. The heel things in the insole felt lumpy. The Velcro strap was pretty long. I got the 8.5 w and it was a roomy, but not a half size probably. And one reason I like this style of shoe is because I can optionally wear socks.

I thought I would like them, but after receiving them they are a little too "old" for me (I'm in my 20's) and my normal size was a little big. I ended up keeping another pair of hush puppies and a half size smaller than my normal size fits perfect.
