Based on Zappos's sizing guide, I initially ordered a half size larger. That was way too small. I could get my foot in the boot but at the risk of my toes going numb. I returned them for a full size up. The replacement boots are still snug, especially with the thicker socks that go with snow boots, but they are starting to break in a bit after a couple of wearings. Good ankle support, great tread, and have been water/snow proof so far. Definitely order a full size up, possibly a size and a half if you wear thicker winter socks.

The boot itself is very nice looking and appears to have excellent support/traction. However, it is not true to size. This boot is a bit small in the length and width, even with a thin sock on. Recommendation is to order up, especially since it is a winter boot and likely thicker socks will be worn with it.

Based on a review I read, I went a 1/2 size larger, and that was a good idea. I generally wear an 11 (except for Nike, in which I wear a 12). I ordered an 11.5 of this boot. I think I will be able to break them in, but they are definitely snug. I'm glad I went a 1/2 size up. Otherwise, I'd probably return them. Great looking boot, very functional, and I'm looking forward to using them more.

I just ordered these boots for my 15 year old son. I had to exchange these for a larger size - originally ordered a 1/2 size larger but needed to go another 1/2 size up (normally wears an 8 and he now has these in a size 9). The inside fits very snug and is likely due to the insulated lining. He has not yet worn them outside but they look great and are lightweight overall as well.

Usually a size 8 has plenty of space for me. Reading the reviews I ordered a size 8.5. The boots are painfully narrow but have plenty of length. If I ordered a size 9 there would be an inch of toe space, so these boots won't work for me. Unless you have narrow feet you may have a problem with these boots.

I usually wear 10 or 10.5 max. Got these in 10.5 and they were way too small - could do with 11 or even 11.5

Sizes run small. I recommend 1/2 size to a full size larger, especially if you wear thicker socks. Next point, they are not overly warm so I suggest a good wool sock! Also, if you have wide feet be prepared for a snug to tight fit. Hopefully they 'break in' and loosen (I've only had them for a day). Traktion on the snow seems to be OK, haven't had to deal with ice yet.

Nice boots especially for the price. Very warm, lightweight and also waterproof. If you are thinking of ordering them then go 1/2 size up cause they a little bit snug.

Needed an affordable, comfortable, and not garish snow boot. These fit the bill, and perform well in everything from mild slush to 8" of powder. Comfortable, if not too warm, and easily adjusted. Styling is fine, and the toe box is great. Comparing these to my old Ecco's, not as nice, but 1/3rd the price. Worth a try.

Great snow boots. Used them on the mountains and trails in Vermont and digging my car out of the snow in NYC. Feet stayed warm and dry! A stylish color could go a long way.

Not the best looking or exciting hiking boot on the market, but very sturdy and well made. Definitely ran small!

Great insulation. Great style. The inner lining is thick causing the boot to fit snug... I would suggest go a half size up than what you normally wear. I ordered a 12, but a 12.5 would have been idea...12.5 isn't available. Thinking about getting a 13 and wearing it with a thicker sock. At this price point, its a great boot that provides warm, traction, and great ankle support.

Great snow boots for the price. Along with everyone else, order a 1/2 size to a whole size up - fit very small and tight. I'm usually a 10 or a 10.5, ordered an 11 in these and seem about right, just a bit snug. I assume they will loosen up a bit with time and as they break in. With Zappos, exchanging is easy so not a huge issue anyway. Have only worn them a couple times so far but seem warm and relatively comfortable out of the box. Will mainly be using these for scooping/snow blowing snow, and haven't had a chance to do that yet. Overall, nice boots for the money.

I wear size 8.5. So I ordered this boot and thought it should fit, but it turn out very small, but it looks nice.

I'm glad I read the reviews, but upset that I didn't fully follow everyone's advice... I read that you need to get a full size larger than what you normally wear and thought I was special and only went a half size larger. They fit alright with them being a little snug, but I'm kicking myself now for not listening to everyone and going the full size larger. They would've most likely fit perfect.

Not sure what people are talking about to order a size bigger. I went with suggestion of other reviews have to go 1 size bigger it was too big sent back orderd 1/2 size bigger still to big ordered my normal size it feels just right even with a thick sock feels fine. I think length and narrow being confused they are very narrow but don't go a size bigger not even 1/2 in my opinion. Not sure on comfort yet. Just got the right size.

Nice shoe, but the fixed toe box is narrow and requires that you get a full size larger for a good fit. There's a lot of room to wiggle the toes, but that seems like a nice thing for both insulating purposes (air insulates best) and freedom of movement (toes are usually squeezed into winter boots). After wearing for a while, we shall see!
