This a well made rain jacket that is easy to store and use at a moment's notice. It does NOT breath. There is NO venting. If you walk at more than a casual pace or wear one of Columbia's fleece jackets underneath and the weather warms up, you find the inside of the jacket wet. Once you take it off the outside seems to dry faster than the inside so hang it up inside out. The zipper placket is light weight and does get caught in the zipper occasionally.

Actually, I liked it initially because it is very light weight (as advertised). But when I wore it for the first time, I realized that it is waterproof on the inside too, trapping perspiration and making it feel clammy. I would like to return it and get something similar that wicks better.

Finally wore this in a San Diego light rain and my shoulders got wet. Thought I was buying a waterproof product but this was definitely not waterproof. Disappointing.

I wouldn't know since my package has been lost intransit and they have to "complete an investigation" before I can receive a refund.

Nice jacket except in the rain. After being in the rain, my arms were soaked! Maybe it should be a 'water resistant' jacket not waterproof. Never again Columbia!

I bought this jacket for my husband (5' 10, 180)since he was looking for a colorful rain jacket for an Iceland adventure. As some reviews indicated, this jacket runs big (but also allows for multiple layers. It did seem to do the trick to keep the rain water out, but when he took it off, his shirts underneath were soaked. this jacket is NOT breathable and the inside was soaked with condensation!! I would personally skip this rain jacket for something better!

The description reads in part : durable enough to withstand a downpour at a moment's notice. Absolutely not. My husband said in a steady rain, it was soaked through within minutes, was hot and so wet inside the sleeves stuck to his bare skin.

Did not look like the pictures. Color was different. Also way oversized. Velcro was not good. Looked like something a grandma would wear. Returned it.

horrible experience wearing this jacket. started raining while i was fishing. i smugly pulled my columbia rain jacket out of my bag and expected to be the dryest guy on the boat. not so much! in 30 minutes every part of my body was wet. This jacket sheds water about as well as a t-shirt.

After waiting 10 days for delivery, I received another customers order. Winter, I ordered light; black, I ordered Stone Green

I've own the glennaker lake jacket that is fully lined with mesh (including sleeves and back). Wanted to get a spare this jacket doesn't have full lining, just the front of the jacket. Disappointed, it's going back

I bought this for my husband. He's medium but the medium from Columbia is big and boxy, arms length were fine. It's just weirdly shaped. I'm returning it.

I am extremely disappointed i ordered a small size and it is extremely big we do not live in the states so it is impossible to send it back completely lost my monney

The size does not run true to the usual standards of the Colombia jackets . The sleeves are also longer than usual . Returning this ...

Not true to size! Way too big. So disappointing :(

Bought this in March of 2020, now June of 2021. Jacket is not waterproof or water resistant. Don't know if feature wore out or just got a bad manufacture, but rain soaks righ t through at this point, clothes get wet. At what price level does "waterproof" really kick in?

If you were Medium order XS, the size is huge. Don't recommend it. and they charge a return fee to the customer so don't buy if you are 100% sure it will fit.

This is a nice lightweight jacket that works as a wind breaker but is more water resistant than waterproof. I bought it because it seemed very lightweight and packable but it's first time in heavy snow (not even actual rain) the neck and some other areas wetted out. Very disappointing because now I'll have to use my heavier rain jacket for hiking and backpacking. I'm glad I tried this out on a shorter hike before relying on it for multiple days. The fit was nice and long (5'9" size small) which I prefer for a jacket.

Drizzly rain soaked right through. Walked my dog for about 45 minutes in drizzly rain and I was completely wet. It has as much rain protection as my cheap windbreaker. Very disappointed in this jacket. I always like Columbia products but this "rain jacket" gets a thumbs down from me.

I ordered the medium jacket. The body fit great, the arms were really long and wide and did not fit with the body of the jacket.

The jacket arrived torn under the arm. It is made of quality material but this damage makes it unusable for me. I am left to wonder if this was a returned item that was shipped to me. Very disappointed.

A raincoat has one job. This one fails. Sending it back.

The jacket has served me well till I used it in the rain for over 30 min at Disney!!! I had water running down my arms and my shirt was absorbing water through the material!!!
