I like the overall features of this fleece, except because it runs so small, it is difficult to use with layering. Do wish the cut could have been a little larger!!

My office is in Chicago. I use fleece jackets to stay warm because it is so cold. I love the color options for this line, but the fleece is way too thin. I am returning it.

I was buying it from a local store and all they had was a dark gray so I got it. I ordered the color "black" online so it would go with more of my clothes and it's the same dark gray. Black is not black it's dark gray. And the drawstring on the side keeps coming undone, it slides right out of place. It doesn't work. The jacket itself keeps me warm for the most part. Wind goes through it easily. But the color and drawstring issue ruin it for me. I guess I have to go to The Northface to get a black fleece. The small is quite large and other reviewers say this runs small. I wonder how big the regular small is.

The fit of this fleece is small through the bust and hips, yet ample in the arms. I've purchased other Columbia fleece's in the past that are more true to size. I purchased a size medium and the bust and hips are smaller than other Columbia fleece's I own in size small. The color is not true to it's name either. I bought Ruby Red and it ended up to be a hot pink.

I like the jacket but the color is awful !!! Not at all like the color swatch . It is ridiculously bright. I wish I has a gift receipt so I could return it!

I like the warmth of my fleece & it fits perfectly but it already is falling apart & I haven't even had it for a month. I wish I could post a picture to show what I'm talking about.

Columbia was always my choice of fleece and I have literally dozens of them. The new edition is now smaller in size, only has the draw cord on one side and the weight of the fleece has diminished. Not a favorable change at all.

Had I ordered any other color I probably would have been very happy with this jacket, but I was specifically looking for navy, and I did not consider this color navy - it had a little green in it and a gray sheen...I had to send it back. I'm going to recommend, but only if you aren't set on Navy!

I was disappointed in this jacket. I have a bright green one from several years ago & its so nice & plush fleece & the very same design. This new one I love the color, but isn't plush & fleecy & is much smaller than my small green one. I am going to call & see if I can exchange it for a medium jacket. Otherwise I may lose my gift card purchase. All the other Columbia items, I have purchased in a store & not online. So not a great experience. The Balloon Fiesta here in Albuq always gave out Columbia Jackets to the Balloon Pilots & volunteers also received one for so many hours of service. They have been great & warm!! Poor quality, thin, not warm. Too white like a marshmellow. Returned.

I bought this and the vest and I liked the vest much better. I found the fit of this to be bulky in the shoulders and arms even though it fit my bottom half.

A couple of years ago I ordered this exact same fleece in XL. So, I ordered two more in XL again. This time the fit was too big. I double checked my current fleece that fits the way I want it to, and it IS XL. I have ordered the large size, but the most disappointing part is that I had to pay the shipping for the return of the first order that did not fit. I find that highly annoying, especially since I was judging the sizing based on what I had purchased in the past.

I usually don't leave bad reviews. Bought for a mini vacation to the mountains & was very disappointed. The material is not soft or comfortable, felt like I was in a wool sweater. The size runs a little small & the fit is very awkward. I could find a nicer off-brand jacket at a local department store for half the already discounted price of this jacket.

I love Columbia Jackets they are all I wear but this last one that I bought was meant to be Intense Violet and when I got it looked more or a pink color.

Traditionally Columbia has provided the warmest and best quality jackets one could find. This jacket is thin and flimsy. If you need a light jacket for a fall afternoon it is like a light weight sweatshirt - but if you need real warmth this is not the one.

this is my third jacket from columbia because of quality. i ordered this one for the color, but the material is different. the fleece on front by pockets already looks worn and "brushed down". i would return it but i don't have the box now. i'll keep wearing it, but will consider another vendor next time.

I love this jacket and have enjoyed my first one in black. It's perfect for most of our NC winters. Decided that I wanted a second and ordered the burnt henna color. It looked like a rusty red in the picture, but when it arrived, looked more like neon dark pink. Just wasn't what I expected. (I don't mind paying shipping charges when I order something, but hate having to pay to ship it back!)

I order the iris blue zippered jacket. The color is nice; however, order up a size or two as the jackets are not true to size. I fit in a large and ordered an XLarge. It fits only okay as I wear two thin layers underneath as I am always cold. I would have liked it a little bigger. Secondly, it took almost two weeks to arrive at my residence. I placed the order about the 17th of December and received it on the 2nd of January, 2013. That is the longest time I have ever had to wait for any online order. On a third note, I bought a heavy winter jacket about 10 years ago from Columbia and I am still wearing it. It is great. I do think the quality has gone down at Columbia; I am a bit disappointed with my purchase as I do not think that the zippered jacket is anywhere near the quality of what I bought awhile ago.!!

I expected a Columbia fleece to be good quality. This jacket is not as good as LL Bean's jackets. It runs small and fabric is thin.

We had purchased several jackets for our staff a few years ago & everyone absolutely loves them!!! We ordered some additional jackets to have embroidered for some new staff members, but find the new jackets material to be of MUCH lower quality! The style & fit are still perfect, but not sure they will last. Very disappointed in the quality of the fabric.

Fleece was not Columbia standard (thin )for me but only paying $18. I quess I can't complain. Fit was alittle small for medium size. Haven't washed so I do not know if it will shrink.

This jacket was off on several counts. First, the fit is boxy , with no shape. Second, it runs on the larger size. Third, the sleeve closure is out dated and uncomfortable. In addition, the sleeves run too short.

I have 8 of these fleece jackets in different colors that I have accumulated over the years. I love that they always fit just right and are my daily choice for work. This time we ordered one directly from Columbia - but the cut is different!! It is now too small in the arms so that it binds in the armpits. I will have to return and hope I can find the "original" cut in a store.

The way the seams run down the front and the way the top of the seam from the pocket meet makes it uncomfortable. When you sit down it puckerd right there under my chest.
