I bought this for cooler mornings, camping and just to have something warm. I was going to say it runs a little small but it really is just not roomy enough to wear something thick underneath. You wouldn't want to put it over a sweatshirt if you get your true size. The medium fits me fine, but I wouldn't be comfortable putting it over a sweatshirt or even a sweater. I'm 5/4 and around 140, very proportionate. I'd say this is a more fitted cut, just like the picture shows. It's not a boxy type jacket. Besides it really is warm enough you wouldn't need a sweater.

This fleece fits great, looks great, and is warm and cozy. Can't beat it.

What an excellent fleece jacket to wear when it's a little cool outside. This Benton Springs Full-Zip jacket fits even better than the charcoal grey one I bought in February of this year. The cut is more generous and the sleeves are longer; movement is relaxed and easy. The zip pockets are perfect for putting hands in when walking. The adjustable "button" on the jacket hem makes the jacket fit well, whatever the body type. I got the Navy blue--and it truly is a pretty marine blue (not just a dark blue). Makes me want to get more!!

Being small framed I find it difficult to find clothes especially jackets and fleece to fit - sleeve length usually up to 4 inches too long - how on earth can a manufacturer put a label XS and have sleeves long enough for Andre the giant has always puzzled me. This Columbia fleece fits so well, enough room to have layers and sleeves that although a tad longer than I usually wear are not out of proportion to the rest of the fleece. Completely satisfied and what a great price!!

I ordered 2 of these jackets for my grand daughter and she is very happy with them. she had them before and as they are aging she asked for more for her birthday. Thank you for having them on line as they are not in the stores now.

I bought this and the vest and I liked the vest much better. I found the fit of this to be bulky in the shoulders and arms even though it fit my bottom half.

I bought two of these coast for my daughters. They love them. The color choices are amazing and feel of them is so soft. They don't want to take them off. They are durable like all Columbia wear, not to mention the great price. Cost value was a no brainier.

These jackets are just right for when the weather cools down. They are light and comfortable. They also look great too!

For me this item ran big. With other reviews that I read and the fact that this item is made a bit tapered I ordered a medium. I will have to return it, and I hate returns. I hope it will be a good experience and not to expensive to return.

The clementis blue color is nice and is close to being periwinkle. The sizing of the jacket runs quite large. I ordered the medium but the sleeves were too long and the width of the jacket was too wide. Unfortunately it has to be returned because overall it is too big.

I was skeptical of buying a Columbia jacket. The price tag to me seemed a little too much. However, if you compare this jacket to the the North Face, the price seems quite reasonable. With price comes quality, and that is one will get with this jacket. This jacket is very comfortable and reminds me of my fleece blanket that I sleep with. Honestly, I do not see why any one would want to spend an extra $50 bucks for the same quality from North Face. A must for winter! And one more thing, I am a tall young lady (5'11) and very skinny. Finding jackets that are well fitting can be quite difficult. However, upon purchasing this jacket I found no issues with size!

I love Columbia fleece so when I needed a black jacket to wear for a new job I knew right where to go! For this position I cannot wear a jacket with any kind of logo that stands out so I was happy to see the Benton Springs full zip fleece in black had the logo in black stitching...however when it arrived although it fit great, I was so upset to see that the logo was in WHITE stitching...Grrrrrr. Why do you show a picture with the black stitching and then ship one with white? Not at all what I was expecting or wanted.

I would expect a Large to fit more like a 10-12 women's size and it fit more like an 8-10 size. I would have liked to have had the option to do an exchange but none was offered on the return form. Quality product if you can get the correct size.

The cut on this fleece is outstanding on a woman's body! I am usually a size 4 in tops and I got the medium, and it fits perfecly, if a tiny bit snug. Definitely order a size up if you are unsure, and especially if you want the fleece to be loose enough for sweathers/other jackets underneath.

This jacket is great for those cool Spring days. Keeps you warm and dry. Material doesn't pill and doesn't stretch out. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

My last Columbia fleece finally had the zipper break after six years of repeated washing and wearing, so I came here shopping for a new one. I bought the same size as my old fleece, but the new one fits much bigger than the old one. I feel like I'm swimming in it. The wrists are also looser, which means if I have it on while my hands are in water, the ends of the sleeves get wet because they won't stay up. The color is also not how it appeared on the website. Mirage looks like a light gray with a tinge of blue on the website. In real life it is sky blue...definitely not a color I would have picked for myself. But it is warm and comfortable, which is the main point of a fleece jacket after all.

I have 15 Columbia jackets in all different colors that I've purchased over the years, with most of them being the Benton Springs full zip or the Benton Springs hoodie jackets. This latest version of the full zip jacket is even better than my old ones because they softened the fleece material so that it pills less and is warm and cozy to the touch. I wish all my old jackets were this soft! I'm 5'4", 115 lbs, and have a 34C bust and the extra small fits perfectly. They also nipped in the waist oh so slightly for a more feminine look and it's quite flattering. All around, a great jacket!

I liked the color very much. Also the fleece feels very nice. The collar is nice, generous and cozy as well. Great all around fleece jacket at a good price.

I love this lightweight jacket that I can easily pack in my suitcase for travel without having the heaviness of a ski jacket, but still have the warmth that I can wear in the mountains hiking. I love it's soft fleece fabric and how comfortable it feels on that I can layer under a heavier jacket or over a sweater as well. I bought it in a larger size so I could layer it if I want to. It has elastic pull-string on the bottom to make it fit a little tighter. I was so pleased that it arrived so quickly and the service was excellent. Thank you.

I bought this Benton spring zip up for my wife and she loves it! It fits her great and so far has proven to be a great jacket.

I ordered blue iris & loved the color. It's more of a light purple (lilac) color than it appears. Overall, it fit perfectly (I'm 5'4'' about 130lbs) and I am considering buying more colors ...very affordable compared to the Northface fleeces.

A couple of years ago I ordered this exact same fleece in XL. So, I ordered two more in XL again. This time the fit was too big. I double checked my current fleece that fits the way I want it to, and it IS XL. I have ordered the large size, but the most disappointing part is that I had to pay the shipping for the return of the first order that did not fit. I find that highly annoying, especially since I was judging the sizing based on what I had purchased in the past.
