This is a beautiful and well made back pack that unfortunately smells horrible! The material is preserved with some severely toxic material and I have washed it over and over again to try to remove the smell. I have not been able to use the bag yet due to this problem.

Great bag very simple design. Well made. However, be warned that (despite some descriptions of this item on some other websites) this bag does not have a key clip, inside media pocket and earphone port.

This is a nice backpack, I have not had a problem with this backpack it is exactly what the picture shows and it is very plain and simple, and I like that. If you want something simple, something that holds a lot, this is your backpack.

If you're looking for a simple bag, this is it at a great price! I've always loved the aesthetic of Herschel backpacks, but didn't want to spend the money since I don't carry a backpack on a daily basis.I bought it primarily for travel and I think it will work very well for that purpose. Like another reviewer said, it's very simple and doesn't have any additional pockets or keyrings.

I bought this for my daughter. She loves it and told me that it is getting lots of use. She is a Pilates instructor/Personal Trainer.

Love it. I had my old backpack since 5th grade and its been falling apart since freshman year, I'm a junior now. Thought it was time for a new backpack and this one is great.

I bought this bag as a gift for my husband. He needed a black bag that was lightweight and could fit all of his stuff. He completely loves it and carries it with him to work everyday. No matter how much stuff he puts in there it still feels light.

I like the very simple design of this backpack. No frills that would resemble a school bag. Comfortable and makes for a great carry on or Saturday hike!

This is a very well made backpack. This is my first Herschel. I am a full-time college student and I was afraid that this backpack would not be able to hold all of my essentials including a thick anatomy lab binder. I was wrong! Everything, including a big ole pencil bag fit perfectly. I love the color too! I will ask my husband to see if Santa will upgrade to the settlement! I am addicted to this brand now!

This is a great size bag--big enough for a day trip around the city but not too big that your shoulders are bending by the end of the day. The grey fabric is great and looks good. I've had this bag for a few years now and it still looks great and gets compliments.

We have had Herschel Backpacks like this in different styles before. The last one we had lasted 2 years before the zipper broke. My 9 year old takes it to school everyday with just the usual stuff in it (lunchbox, binder, some books, etc.) I think the material is very sturdy and it washes well, however the zipper thing has happened a couple times and I am hoping it lasts a little longer this time around!

I needed a new bag for my bike commute to work, and this was the perfect size. I can fit my laptop (13 inch), workout clothes and a second pair of shoes in the bag, and the front pocket has quite a bit of space. My only complaint is there is no built-in sleeve to separate my computer from the rest of the stuff I pack in there. Very comfortable and I highly recommend!

Fairly basic backpack, great for minimalist styles. Pretty sturdy, I carry a few school books and notebooks in it. Also a fan of the striped red interior. Not a huge fan of the material but that's only a minor complaint. I recommend.

My 18 year old daughter, who is a senior in high school, ordered this back pack. The brand is great and the style is second to none. However, it was the most uncomfortable backpack we both have ever tried on. The top of the straps are coarse and hard - they dig into one's shoulder muscles. We couldn't take the risk it would eventually soften up so we decided to return it.

The bag is great. I got the camo and it looks better in person than in the pictures. I use as lunch bag/gym bag and it's the perfect size.
