I bought this backpack as a gift for my boyfriend who prefers a simple design. It was exactly what both of us were looking for. It's the perfect bag for a hike, bike ride, or all day trip.

Love my backpack! It holds a lot more than it looks like it would fit and I put almost everything in it when I go out. Plus everyone compliments the checkered design.

Great looking, bare bones, well made bag for a very reasonable price. The lining is red bandana, very cute! I have two Herschel backpacks and they are both winners! Very excited about this company because their products have style, good workmanship and great functionality!

This bag is perfect for what I need. I don't carry too many things to class, so this is enough space to take larger books and my laptop when I need them without constantly looking like I have a turtle shell on my back. I love the color too.

Extremely uncomfortable. It makes my shoulders very red. The backpack is huge, I was expecting it smaller.

This backpack is bigger than I thought it would be, but super comfortable. I use it to hold what I'll need for my commute and a day at work (lunch, book, wallet, umbrella, etc). Quality/color are as expected and I'm sure it'll last awhile!

I was hoping the color of this bag would be a bright coral-y red like it looks in the picture, but it's not. It is a very basic red. It seems to be pretty well made. I really like the striped interior. I carried it around Disney World for a week. The straps aren't so comfortable on sunburned shoulders, but I don't know that it's the bags fault. I've not bought a backpack in about 20 years, so I'm not sure what other comfortable options exist. I obviously got a lot of sunblock on the straps. I ran it through the washer and let it air dry, but it didn't do much good. I'll have to give it a good scrub to get the rest off. Other than that, it held up pretty well!

It is tiny! It is for a toddler at best!
