This is a gorgeous bag! A great size, well made, perfect for all your regular purse stuff, plus an iPad or probably even a small laptop. The shoulder strap is wide and padded. The only reason I'm not keeping it is that the strap is really short, and not adjustable. I'm 5'4", and the bottom of the bag sits right above my hip. Truthfully it's probably more secure that way, especially for a NYC commuter, but I'm not that, and don't want the bag right there under my arm.

Cute bag, and SO close to being just what I need. In the end, the strap isn't adjustable and is just too short to be worn as a cross-body (and that's what I needed it for). I'm 5'7". Having to return. I'd like a cross-body bag that sits near my hip, and the top of this one sits just under my armpit (with the strap directly across my boob) when worn across. I feel like I'm just about eating it when I swing it to the front to get things out of it. Dang. Try try again.

I ordered this purse because it looked cute and like it would hold all the personal necessities (including my i-pad) with plenty of room. It arrived and had plenty of space. However, the picture of the purse in black is not true to what I received. The lining of the black purse is a black and white chevron pattern and the buttons are covered with fabric that is the same color as the purse. I believe it may have been more appealing to me if the buttons were silver, as pictured, and the lining was colored polka dots, as pictured, as I thought this gave the purse some cute appeal. However, I will be keeping the purse, as it meets my needs and most of my wants.

I bought this bag for day to day use, but it's more like a laptop or iPad case/bag. Perfect for school! Unfortunately, I'm not in school, so it looks like this bag won't be getting too much of my use. I thought of returning it, but nah... maybe someday I'll use it. It's very functional!

I think I received the wrong color. When I got this bag it was orangish, not reddish. Otherwise it is a super-cute bag. Wish the front pocket was easier to get to.

I guess that I did not realize it had a tablet pocket. It takes up space in the purse, but I love the shape, the buttons, etc. The shoulder strap is great for traveling.

I so wanted this messenger bag to work for me. The strap is really wide and not adjustable for customizing. I recently had shoulder surgery and can't tolerate a purse hanging on my shoulder, so a messenger-type purse is ideal for me. I'm 5'6" and although I would prefer the strap a bit longer, I think generally speaking the length is appropriate for my height. I didn't realize how large the actual bag is. It would be great for a diaper bag, but it's just too big for every day use as a purse. I wish the center tablet section was removable, because it adds quite a bit of extra bulk and I don't need it. I'm sad to have to send it back.

Be careful of the Terra color. I thought I was going to be getting an olive green bag with a mint green liner. Instead I got a brown/greyish bag with a multi-color polka dot liner. I was very disappointed and sent it back. It would have been perfect with the colors pictured tho. So if you like brown/greyish with polka dots, then definitely order it.

I bought this bag because I wanted a black bag in a laid back style. I like the size, not too big, not too small. The only thing I don't like about the bag is the polka dot lining. The polka dots are cute, but seems a bit childish to me, I would have preferred stripes, or some kind of geo pattern, but I can live with it.

Really nice bag! Bigger than I imagined it would be, but that turned out to be nice. The strap is a bit too long and not adjustable, but I'm super short, so it will probably fit most people. There's a tablet pocket, which I don't think was mentioned in the description. Good cheery bag over all.

This is a nice purse for fall weather. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but my ipad does fit in the middle pocket. It's still a bit bigger than purses I've had before so I don't know how to fill it up yet. Have to wear it cross shoulder so it tends to sit on my front leg when I walk; a bit weird to deal with. The front pocket is odd to have to unbutton then unzipped, but as long as you don't use it often then it works out.

I was so looking forward to this bag because it was exactly what I was looking for. It has lots of pockets and I like the middle pocket to protect a notebook or tablet. The buttons are for decoration only, there were other reviews that complained about them and they are right. I cannot get them open! My biggest complaint about this bag is that the strap is not adjustable. I'm fairly chesty and this bag does not sit right across my chest. I think it's built for someone who rocks an A cup or a guy. Which is too bad. I ended up giving it to my sister. She cut the strap, sewed additional fabric in and then it worked for her. I wouldn't buy this bag again, but overall the style is nice and I loved the color.

The OGIO Brooklyn purse is nice and stylish, even though someone did ask if it was a diaper bag. After considering it, it actually does remind me of a smaller version of one with 3 pockets and the inside fabric is a colorful polka dot pattern. Like another reviewer, it is a little to short for my 5'10" frame but I tacked up the handle to make it more purse like. Also, the pocket for equipment is a little snug for my 4th gen ipad W/ cover.

I really liked the look of this purse, but it was much larger than I expected it to be. Once I filled it to capacity, it became too large and heavy to carry comfortably. I wasn't a fan of the pocket under the button flap either...just too difficult to get in and out of quickly, and it doesn't look as good with just one, or none, of the buttons fastened.

One of the things that attracted me to this bag was the contrasty buttons. When it arrived, the buttons were not the way they look in the picture. They are the same color as the bag. It's also bigger than I expected but that might be my own measuring error. I measured a crossbody bag that I have now for reference.

I bought this bag in mid-September 2016. By October the seam in the middle of the shoulder strap was starting to separate. Now in January 2017 it's about to completely break and I need to retire it. It's a bummer because it is a nice size to be able to hold my stuff, extra snacks for my 4-year-old and isn't a giant diaper bag. I also like that it is lightweight on it's own, so adding stuff to it doesn't make it really uncomfortable. The strap is a little bit too wide so there are times that it is a little uncomfortable at times. So it's not a perfect bag, but I'd probably be using it for a long time if it wasn't falling apart already.

Really really wanted to keep this bag but the strap is just too short! It's a pity because I've been looking all over for a replacement with no luck. However, I just can't justify keeping the bag because I can't find a replacement.

I really wanted to like this purse! However, the strap is way too thick for me & it cuts into my neck causing serious discomfort. I also felt like it pulled onto my shoulder & back. Yes, it's cute & holds a good amount. But accessing your stuff isn't super easy.

very disappointed. I just got my purse and was not happy to see that the buttons on the purse were not the same buttons shown in the picture. on the wine purse it pictures silver buttons to match the ogio logo and the purse I got has cloth buttons that match the purse. they are not cute and don't stand out like on the purse shown. I like small, cute details and I am not happy that I didn't get what I thought I would get.

The strap is not adjustable, and is stiff. The bag is not as flexible as it could be. The front pocket is impossible to get into. I used this for about a week as a diaper bag and then donated it!

I'm 5'6" and the strap is too short and non-adjustable - for me it didn't work either cross-body or over-the-shoulder. The picture made it look like a cross-body bag, but I don't think that would work unless you're very petite. The other deal-breaker was the comfort of the strap. Given it's felt, I thought felt would be relatively soft, but the strap is very stiff and scratchy wool. I'd think I'd rub my neck raw wearing it all day. So disappointed to be sending this one back. Looked so cute in the picture! I loved the buttons and the style is very funky and unique.

As other reviewers mentioned, the strap is really too short to wear this cross-body. I am 5'4" and was disappointed as it is super cute!

I like the deign and size. But I am not sure about felt material. It looks cheap when I see it. The other material one (nylon?) may be better. I wish they have brown or deep purple colors.

This is a very cute bag. I love the look. I got the dark gray felt and the strap is pretty rigid and wide, so it is awkward over the shoulder and would always need to go across my body to help that. The inside is very cool and roomy and pockets for everything. It seems like my dream bag. But because of the rigidness, it is going back.
