This bag was perfect for me. You can put your laptop in it and throw the bag. No worry about your computer. The space in the bag is great and the pockets are good size. Good back support and excellently waited for travel. It's recommended for business....

Being a management consultant my job takes me across the world flying domestic and international all the time, and this backpack hands-down is a mobile road warrior champ! Sturdy and well constructed with enough individual and separate sections and pockets to keep even the most an*l packer satisfied. The quality is great, even after a year of hard use being slid under plane seats, thrown into taxis and hiked around, all the stitching and zippers are tight and glide easily. With the ability to keep organised, the pockets are all usable and have a clear function, and after you get use to it, you can easily find your way around the pack in the dark by touch alone. I use additional internal bags to further separate the internal compartment into various sections, however if I ever need to carry bulky items, they easily fit into the main section, which is huge and easily enough to carry cloths for a 2-day trip including your electronics. Comfortable and supportive, I've not had any issue with the straps. However I would recommend that if you want to use in a more uptight work setting - to get the more discrete colour option. All in all - I cannot recommend this enough, and am always happy to talk to my team mates about it when they point it out, and I think I am just going to buy another one after this one wears out

In an backpack in the price range, I expected a high degree of quality but this exceeded my expectations! The backpack is good looking, extremely versatile, has a wide array of pockets that are strategically placed jut perfectly, and is very rugged! Highly recommended!

The price is quite high on this bag, but it is well designed. My laptop is slim and fits in snugly. I finid it hard to believe it would hold a 17" laptop - my old 17" would never fit in this bag. Multiple pockets help keep all the cords and adapters, etc well organized. It seems like it should stand on its own, but I pack it with too many things in the front pockets and its not quite stable. Overall all a very good bag but the price is a bit steep.

Perfect anniversary gift for the hubs. We travel a lot and this has lots of space for his laptop and whatever other items he wants to carry and have available on the airplane.

This pack is everything I want in a tech oriented bag. It has pockets for EVERYTHING. PROS: -Pocket for tablet, power brick, sunglasses, water bottle, pens, usb thumb sticks, usb chargers, usb cords, snacks, etc -impressively light for the features -comfortable -fits nicely under airline seat -main compartment is a nice tub CONS: -none really

I've been looking for a backpack for quite sometime and finally decided on the OGIO Renegade RSS. Quality is superior and I feel like this pack will last a very long time. The zippers are high quality along with all the "Red" materials. I am very happy but there are some flaws. These flaws are only my opinion and are based on what I feel is missing from the product. There really is no secure way to store a water bottle or an umbrella in the side pockets. While the video shows you how, in the real world, it simply doesn't work. I tried but the water bottle falls out. After 1 week's use, the right sides strap separated from the closure. After about 15 minutes of frustrating work, I was able to thread the strap back into the lock. Other than that, this pack is really fantastic. I love it and clients have even commented on how nice it is.

Bought this a short time ago as a replacement for a shoulder bag I had been using for roughly 15 years. Unfortunately, the company I bought my last bag from decided to stop making bags. Anyway, I thought I should update to a backpack due to heavy airline travel and it might be easier to handle. I love the color and finish of the backpack, especially the red accents. The zippers are hearty and overall the quality seems to be pretty solid enough to last for a good amount of time. I am still considering returning the bag as I am still in the trial period due to the following: *Shoulder straps seem to be a bit short for my size, need the padded area to be longer. *I don't like the harness straps dangling and they aren't removable. *The "eyeglass" case on the top is hindered by the heavy carry strap on the top. The strap has no give, while good in theory, it makes this pocket hard to access. *I feel there is so much wasted space, where there could have been additional pockets added into the flaps. I have had to utilize smaller pouches to hold items then just shove them into the pockets across the front. *The luggage pocket is very tight and hard to put my carry-on luggage bar through. Some plus sides: *Padding against the back is heavy and soft. * I can actually fit two laptops into the protected area, one with a sleeve on it to keep them separated. *Water bottles up to 1 liter will fit easily into the side pouch with the stretch strap to secure it. *Liking the backpack style better than my over the shoulder bag. The backpack puts less stress on my shoulder and spreads the weight across my back. Will most likely be shopping around to see if there is a better configured bag in the Ogio line up. I would have gone one step up in the Renegade line, but was concerned with fit under an airline seat. This bag takes up all of the real estate under an airline seat, with a water bottle in the pocket, it does get stuck at times. Honestly, I feel this is a very durable bag and truly want to make it work, as I do like the look and feel. Have a few weeks left of testing and perhaps I will find some solutions to make this bag work better for me. If you are under 6', aren't traveling with multiple laptops / remote office gear, this is an awesome bag and I would recommend it highly!

As a larger-shouldered man and a retired firefighter I think the bag would benefit from longer/wider straps possibly the additional of a waist strap. I carry a laptop, several other pieces of electronics, some note books, and a bunch of smaller items daily in the bag and when going longer distances (like in an airport) having those strap changes would be helpful. Otherwise love the bag!

I bought this back pack 2 years ago and I love it... BUT the straps starting pulling apart at the top 3 months after purchase. I have managed to keep it together for this long but now the fabric is tearing at the top of the where the straps are joined together.

This bag is really well laid out and is well made. My biggest suggestion would be to change the interior color to something easier to see, such as high-viz orange or even light gray. An all-black interior makes it really hard to see the contents.

Bought this OGIO backpack because I have had other OGIO products that were nearly indestructible. Comparing it to the backpack that it replaced, this OGIO could use a few more partitions/pockets and the straps are short especially if you are 6'0" or over. I'm still satisfied with my purchase and will use this backpack for years to come.

This is a well built bag that has plenty of pockets and space but I ended up giving it only 4 stars because for me it was just too bulky and it wouldnt fit into overhead compartments in planes. I ended up giving it to my wife and purchasing another brand. Slightly expensive also.

Love the organization. Theres a place for everything. Love the protection points as well, my electronics will be safe in travel. While it is a bigger pack, wouldn't mind that if it had any give. Very stiff, no flex so you have to stuff it places with force. Feels overly masculine vs works for anyone. Love it in so many ways. Wish it could achieve the same results and be a little softer in the process.

I haul a lot of stuff around for work, so my backpack is consistently about 20 lbs or more. This backpack has held up great so far, and feels much sturdier than my old backpack. The only complaint I would have is, after only 2 days, one of the hemmed loops on the end of the shoulder strap came apart. I have a tendency to put my thumbs in them when walking, and it just popped the seam with very little pressure. I stapled it back together for now so the strap doesn't slip all the way out, but that seam was poorly sewn. Other than that, the backpack itself is incredibly durable. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought the Renegade RSS because it had great organization pockets and compartments. I trust OGIO for good quality. I ended up returning it though as it was just smaller than I expected. The laptop compartment is cool with the "suspension" system to protect your laptop, but I think I'd rather have a little less padding and gain the 5-6 liters of space the padding takes up. I travel for my job with several essentials that I just couldn't fit. But I recommend it to anyone with less need of space. it is cool.
