A bit stiff at first due to the leather, after walking on an indoor track for an hour they felt great. Comfortable foot bed and support in the right areas. They key with these shoes for me is lacing them properly. They are nice walking shoes and have had many compliments wearing them. They look nice with jeans or shorts.

Love these shoes! Very comfortable and I can stay on my feet all day in them. Well constructed.

This shoe was a very pleasant surprise in several ways. I was having a hard time finding a comfortable lace up shoe that is not a running shoe and does not look matronly. This fits the bill. It is narrow enough, almost too narrow in the "AA" width although I think it may stretch out over time. It is sturdy, more of a light hiking boot than a casual shoe. It looks adorable, I ordered the navy and the dark grey and am keeping the navy but will buy black laces as I don't care for the tan. (Note: the dark grey shoes came with a spare alternate color of laces, the navy did not) I ordered the 8.5 AA and my size 9 orthotics fit inside without curling at the toe, so I believe these shoes run a half size long. My heel does not slip. The laces stay tied and are long enough. I'm giving comfort 4 stars for the stiffness but I haven't broken them in yet.

These are fabulous shoes. I only wish some of the other colors came in my size I'd buy another pair. They were instantly comfortable and the style makes my big feet look smaller. Love them!

Fit is exact. I ordered 7N and it was perfect with a thin sock. But I needed this for trail walking and thicker socks. So either a 7.5, or a Medium width would do it. Sending this one back. Cute. Comfortable. Arch is somewhat supportive.

These are comfortable, one step up from sneakers. They are great for the cooler weather. Lose the pull tab on the back and they could be even nicer looking. Good solid shoe.

Great shoes! This is my first pair of Clarks and they are just great. It is so nice to find a pair of comfortable, good looking shoes that I can wear without my orthodics. So much more comfortable than my last few pairs of "comfortable" shoes. In fact, I just threw all those away!

Loved the shoe and your fast service. The depth of the toebox is not sufficient for my current orthotics. Sorry maybe next time.

I love these shoes! I bought a pair in red last summer, and liked them so much I told my husband he could buy another pair in a different color for me for Christmas. They are comfortable, sturdy, and look good. My only complaint is that he bought them before Christmas and the price was substantially reduced right after the holiday. Oh, well...

Very comfortable right out of the box. Spent the day walking on concrete at a flea market and had no issues at all. I bought these for travel and know they will not disappoint.

This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn that wasn't a athletic or a running shoe. I ordered the size 5.5 first and it was a bit large. Returned the size 5.5 and exchanged for a 5 - perfect fit. The return process was simple, fast & nearly effortless. (Depending on the type & manufacturer of shoe, I can wear anything from a size 6 to a size 5. Usually wear a size 5, though). I love the color and texture of this shoe - it looks great whether I dress it up or go more casual.

Have very narrow, skinny feet, have a hard time to find a comfortable shoe for everyday, I love this shoe, feet stay warm and dry. I have two pair and wanted another, but was out of my size. Zappos great as always.

I am completely satisfied. These were comfortable right out of the box. No break in time was needed. I was happy to see Clark shoes in a wide.

I took these shoes out of the box, wore them around the house for a few minutes, and set off on a four mile walk. They are extremely comfortable with good support and I like them so much, I will buy a second pair.

I ordered these based on some of the other reviewers comments. I wear an 11, medium width due to bunions but I have narrow heels. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for - I wanted casual shoes to wear with jeans that were not running shoes. I wanted comfortable shoes that I could wear all day, walk several miles in, and be on my feet for long periods. These shoes are great! I almost do not want to take them off, which usually is something that I cannot wait to do at any opportunity. I have worn them to work, on long (four mile) walks, and all day (12 hours) and my feet are so comfortable! My daughter thinks the style is "early old lady," but since I think they make my feet look small and narrow, they get five stars from me.

I finally found some shoes I love. Comfortable right out of the box. Thanks for all the reviews that convinced me to try them. Thank you Zappos and sorry for all the returns of other shoes!

I love my Clarks Wave Treks. I purchased size 8 1/2 wide and they fit perfectly. I love the color and am thinking of buying another pair in a red.

I wear these all the time running around doing errands. Very comfortable and I have gotten lots of compliments on this shoe. It's not a clunker like some of these other "walking shoes." Fits my 6 1/2 W foot beautifully, even with the hammer toe. Love the neutral grey color, goes with all colors of jeans.

These shoes are the best! I needed a new pair for my active job after becoming disillusioned with my last few pairs of Rockport and New Balance. I thought I had nothing to lose by trying out a pair of Clarks and now I am a fan. Very comfortable right out of the box and I do not have to wear my orthodics with them as they have great arch support. And waterproof - wow!

Love these shoes. I've chosen them over all my shoes to be the pair I'll wear hiking the Camino de Santiago trail in Spain for forty days. So comfortable and supportive! Waterproof, too. I never tire wearing them. Highly recommend these shoes.

Wow! 177 Ladies can't be wrong, so I went ahead and bought as pair of these Clarks. I'm so excited, I got the 9 Medium width in Red, which is more of a brick red, fine by me, and I love them right out of the box. They are super cushy walking my dog, that's mainly what I got them for, the long suburban treks with my best pal. I bet she wishes she had Clarks because now she has to keep up with me versus the other way around! I am so happy with this purchase. They are expensive, but they are well worth it. The only thing is my feet get sweaty in them which on a breezy 14 degree F day outside, makes my feet actually cold, but I was wearing cotton socks, so I switched to my light hiking wool socks and that made an improvement in that department, still sweaty, just moisture wicked away. But, hey, its a waterproof shoe! So I'm happy overall! And so is my pup!

What a great walking shoe. I'm going to Europe for two weeks next year and being a size 11 shoe I knew I needed to start early to look for a touring shoe. Lots of walking in my future! Found this shoe and liked the look, because it looks athletic without looking like a sneaker. What can I say, from the moment I tried it one it FELT wonderful! I even talked by best friend into getting a pair. We both love them. Here is what we found. My BFF wears a size 10, but got the size 11. I wear a size 11 and bought the size 12. She has a narrow foot and I have a wide one, but going up one size worked for both of us. I found that most Clarks feel a whole size smaller. I've had these for three weeks and they are just getting better as I break them in. The pair I got were suede so I sprayed them with protectant. Note:these shoes are waterproof, so the tongue is one piece continuously attached to the shoe. I've worn them in the rain every day for 1 1/2 weeks and they still look brand new. Now I'm waiting to get a pair in black for Christmas. I think both pair will be touring Europe with me in the Spring. What a great buy. While I bought the size 12, they DO NOT look like a size 12 on my feet. They are wonderfully designed! KUDOS to Clarks!

I love these shoes. I had a pair last year and bought another in blue this year. Comfortable, durable and I receive compliments on them all the time. I have not purchased a pair for my daughter.

This comfortable shoe gets 5 stars. From day one of wearing them my feet did not hurt. I have gotten a lot of compliments on theses shoes.

Comfortable, really good-looking shoe! I have been looking for a walking shoe that will be comfortable on my wide feet for a day of walking, but that I can still wear sightseeing in a city without looking like a dork. Had to go half a size up, which I did, and the fit is great!
